We had a late night arrival at Perth airport but the host, Jan, happily waited till close to midnight to check us in and show us around. Very comfortable twin bedroom with TV, fridge, and a good selection of breakfast supplies in the room so we could have breakfast when it suited us. The shared bathroom facilities were modern and spotless, however we saw no other occupants and had those facilities to ourselves. The pool looked inviting but we were leaving early next morning so no time for a dip. Super comfortable beds and lovely quiet area around the lake. The home/lodge was a joy to explore. Highly recommend.

Location was fantastic, being very close to Lake Monger and walking paths. Closest cafes and takeaways are about a fifteen minute walk. I didn't need the breakfast, but porridge sachets, yoghurt and fruit were provided.

To access the shared bathroom you needed to walk through the family's kitchen and living area which I considered just a minor downside. The family members that I saw were pleasant and polite. I was given access to the family's backyard and pool which were beautiful, although I didn't have time to enjoy them as I only had a short overnight stay.

Thé large character fédération home, filled with many artworks and collectables from European travels. The home is one house back from Lake Monger affording easy access to lakeside activities/walks and 15 minutes Walk to Oxford Street eateries and convenience store. Also very peaceful considering proximity to busy roads. Very impressive home offering access to comfortable lounge room, family dining area, outside seating and beautiful gardens and swimming pool! Bedroom very attractive and in keeping with the era of the building with very high ceilings with traditional mouldings etc and interesting artworks. These features more than compensated for the shared bathroom facilities just down the hallway, which were most adequate. These comprise separate powder room and a laundry/shower/vanity basin with soaps and shampoos etc provided. Breakfast was nice choice fruit from a fruit bowl, cereals and yoghurt, teas and coffees in room.

Roomy stufffy at night as warm nights, fortunately we had bought our own fan. We had read about shared bathroom and worked OK but can be problem when need it urgently. Parking a concern as only one spot, can be two cars very narrow street parking.

Beautiful character home, comfortable beds, nice quiet location but also convenient. Lovely hosts. The central aircon was welcome as the weather was very hot at the time we visited.

It was a bit of a walk through the main house to the toilet and bathroom. Breakfast was just cereal and yoghurt.

This property was so nice and relaxing, I did my washing and was able to relax in between work. Thoroughly enjoyed the patio and garden area. The house was filled with awesome travelling photos and souvenirs. It was like the host has lived an awesome life and welcoming to all travellers 😊

Beautiful house, gorgeously decorated with lovely pool. Close to lake and hospital for my daughters appointment.

I didn’t read the listing properly and overlooked that it was a shared bathroom with another couple. This ended up being totally fine but my daughter was unsure to start with. Place was great :)

The breakfast was simple but suitable for all people except (only a Personal Preference with the understanding as to Why) would have loved some toast....but have since realised had I asked I would have received as they where great host

The opening of bedroom window...esp for hot conditions...once again personal preference... fresh air over air conditioning. Managed...as also realise the difficulty of changing a heritage building ...but definitely NOT a major complaint

Very homelike, clean and comfortable, with access to all house facilities, very friendly hosts who were very accommodating to my needs and those of the other guests. Also great supplies laid out for an easy breakfast in the morning

Honestly nothing

Elegant older style property in beautiful area close to beautiful lake walks & easy access to the freeway. Buzzing cafe & restaurant strip just a short drive away. The owners were very friendly & helpful. It felt like we were staying with friends.

Limited parking on the property & outside verge but plenty around the corner less than 25m away.
