The hotel appearance and main hall are eye catching, it’s located very close to the centre and easy to find coming from the motorway. The breakfast offers a wide choice selection, and there is the opportunity to have meal in the restaurant until 10pm

The room furniture are quite basic and old, and the shower holder was broken. The sheets were not 100% clean. Nothing terrible to blame, but considering the price comparing it to other hotels in the area I was staying, the aforementioned items should be improved

great to have family room with twin beds. very clean. good, hot shower, nice selection of meats, cheeses, cakes and breads along with cereals, yogurt and fruit salad for breakfast. awesome location nestled at foothills of mountains. pretty little town. definitely recommend a stay here especially as they provide travel card to get to old town Salzburg by train in 30 minutes, three minutes walk to station and trains run every hour. it’s not modernised, but very charming.

only real complaint was that it was too warm. we were hot despite having all rads off. also could use additional pillows or perhaps thicker ones!

Free big breakfast, free on-site parking, short walking distance to stores and pretty river, close to salt mine and the summer toboggan slide, friendly staff, nice dinner restaurant on site, decor was good, liked bed pillow snack.

Wish there were a bedroom electrical outlet, but bathroom outlet worked out ok anyway.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there were some overnight roadworks right outside my window at the same time as my stay. Not only did the hotel move my room, but they also packed up my stuff and moved it for me while I was out for the day. Super helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Highly recommend.

Good location in Hallein - 2 minutes to walk from railway station. And Hallein itself is located in 15-25 minutes by train from Salzburg. The room was nice & cosy. The breakfast was good. The hotel has unique interior which I liked very much. There were roller blinds on the windows, which made the room rather quiet.

The breakfast was nice and plenty of choice. The rooms are a bit little, but for an overnight stay it was more then enough. We slept there with our 1 year old. The baby bed that was provided was comfortable and the service is great. The furniture in the room is a bit out-dated, but everything is very clean and the location is the best. It's not even a 5 minute walk into the city and close to the high way as well. Best of both worlds we thought.

Room was small and cosy. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and quite tasty. As room faced the main street, then street vehicle noise came in. No ventilation and very hot at night. Still, stuff was cheerful and helped us with questions. Good restaurant across the street, alpine coaster approximately 5 min drive.

Location was great, close to the train station and easy to find. Beautiful house with really wonderfully decorated hallways and rooms. It was very calm and quiet both in the hotel and in the surrounding area.

There was no place to get a cup of evening tea/hot water apart from going to a restaurant.

Good location very close to city center and all tourist attractions in Hallein salt mine, eagles nest, ice cave Werfen, alpin road Rossfeldt etc... Very good and rich buffet breakfast with Austrian products.

It is possible that you won't find a parking space at the hotel at night because it is small and there are many rooms. No air conditioned in the room, only a single fan is available.
