good location near the heart of the city and a km walk from the train station. our room was large with a bed each for three of us. bathroom was also a good size with a good shower.
A noisy nearby bar till late night. A mouse under our table in the breakfast restaurant, informed to a staff but perhaps she didn’t understand English. A rude man in the swimming pool area shouted loudly at my 24 year old daughter to get out instead of informing her politely the closing hour of the pool!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Grauer Bär! The location is brilliantly located within a few minutes walking of the Old Town. Staff are extremely friendly, and I would especially love to say thank you the gentleman who checked us into room 520 on Friday 10 January (sorry, I never got your name) - he went above and beyond to have a laugh with us and had some great recommendations! He should be rewarded for being a credit to your team! The room was clean and quiet and had a fabulous view of the mountains! The spa was excellent and having a room on the same floor of it was a wonderful experience! The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding and I would even go as far as to say it’s the best hotel breakfast we’ve had (and we go on a holiday a month)!! Would definitely stay here again!!

The hotel is nicely decorated and has a very warm atmosphere. We had a spacious, very quiet room with a great bed. Even the extra bed for the 3rd person was of the same quality as the normal bed which is often not the case in hotels. The bathroom had a lovely rain shower. Breakfast was abundant. On Sunday they even served a glass of champagne, which was most appreciated by my mum and grandmum. The pool and spa were a nice extra. The jacuzzi with view on the mountains and the city topped it all.
The sauna was only heated between 17 and 21, which gave us not enough time to enjoy it to the fullest, due to a busy program with dinner at 18:30. That was a pity. But we understand the choice from an ecological perspective.

This was a quick overnight stay in a beautiful city before we headed up to the Dolomites. The hotel is a great location, we easily walked from the train after deciding it would be quicker than loading all our luggage onto a taxi! The suite was a large two room affair with beautiful views up to the mountains, a comfy bed for us and a sofa bed for our teen. The bathroom was large and clean. The bonus is the wellness centre on the top floor with stunning views across the city to the mountains. You can sit in the spa watching the sun go down. Steam room and sauna also a welcome treat after a cold day. Breakfast buffet was a little chaotic as it was the last busy weekend of the holidays but it was restocked after we sat down and plenty of choice. Great hotel and location.
No Nespresso machine in room, it’s pretty much standard now to have a coffee pod machine and not instant coffee!

Hotel is well presented, a stones throw from the old town and next door to a great Nepalese restaurant. Rooms and clean, spacious with everything you would need. Breakfast has a great choice with coffee machines so no waiting to grab the waiter/esses eye to get a refill. Only here for a night whilst in transit so unfortunately didn't get chance to try the wellness facilities etc.
Room overlooked what appeared to be a bar area which in itself wouldn't be an issue but at night had people outside talking until daft o'clock in the morning, unable to leave the window open

Excellent location with underground parking. Very friendly reception staff. Great breakfast. Overall we would be happy to return someday.
The room was nice and clean, but there was some kind of smell. Probably because someone before us has smoked in the room and since the room has a carpet, it is difficult to eliminate the unpleasant scent. Maybe it was just bad luck, but the Spa area was overcrowded. Couldn't use outdoor jacuzzi because it was full of people all the time and swimming pool was too cold to relax. For the price it would be normal to have bathrobes in the room.

The location is fantastic to the downtown area. Our room was like an apartment and it was huge. The view of the Alps was great, especially on the top floor with the pool and jacuzzi. The buffet breakfast was also great. Now for some bad points. The weekend staff we're not very friendly nor helpful. When we arrived, I thought from the hotels advertisement that parking was next door to the hotel. It is not! The explanation for self parking from the front desk staff was complicated and not accurate. They acted as if was simply driving down the street and getting to the parking garage. Nope! The staff sent me in a different direction and we ended up in the downtown area with the police giving me a ticket for driving in a restricted area. Beware the police are not friendly at all. The made me pay them 25 euro in CASH to forgive the ticket, which I thought was shady and a total scam for tourists.
The self parking is back behind the hotel on a different street. Although the parking is connected to the hotel, you will need to carry your own luggage as they do not have Bellman or anyone to help. They desperately need valet parking. They also do not have room service. The weekend front desk staff spoke very little English.

We were two couples, 2 rooms, stayed at the hotel 3 nights. The hotel is perfect. Location is fabulous, just right nest to the city center and that old city. The staff are very helpful and nice. The is a very convenient parking under the hotel (good price) with direct entry to the hotel lobby. breakfast was well above our expectations (really good). We used the SPA which was Awesome (Pool, jacuzzi, wet/dry sauna), it is located at the 5th floor with spectacular view of the city and snowy mountain. Rooms are clean and setup just right.
Nothing that I can think of

-Wellness center and pool were wonderful with an amazing view. Such a great way to relax at the end of the day. Sauna, turkish bath, jacuzzi , pool. Wow! -Convenient parking connected to hotel (however I would have liked this to be made clear in the welcome info I received doing the online check-in. - very comfortable bed - great location for visiting the historic center
- bath towels in room were a little small - buzzing sound of fridge in room and couldn't unplug it - bath was beautiful but very high - might be difficult for elderly people and kids to get into

I found the breakfast very good with an excellent variety of food to pick from. The location of the hotel was ideal for the buses, trams and trains. I go to Innsbruck to ski so had no trouble in getting to the slopes. The hotel being in the centre of the city made my stay trouble free.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
