Excellent location, very close to the Old Town area, room was comfortable and clean, buffet breakfast has an excellent variety to choose from. Staff at front desk were friendly and very helpful, the hotel can provide you with The Innsbruck Welcome Card which offers discounts on various tourist attractions and cable cars for the mountains. This was not my first time staying at this hotel and I will definitely stay here again on a future trip to Innsbruck.

Nothing to note.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times but not for a whole week. It is very clean and comfortable and even the classic room is a good size. the staff are very friendly and helpful. Particularly the reception staff who are excellent. The location is brilliant being just across the river from the Altstadt. Breakfast is a wonderful selection. our only complaint is the lack of a lounge. But if we had been prepared to pay for a better room we would have had comfy chairs to sit in. We love this hotel and would highly recommend it. We stayed this time as our daughter and husband have just had their first baby, our grandson, and we were unable to stay with them this time.

A find! Excellent, discreet location directly across the Inn River from the old, medieval part of town. Our room and bath were very spacious and the subtle Venetian decor is a lovely touch. Quality soap/shampoo are provided. Breakfast is exceptional. The breakfast room and bar are rather historic. The ancient trade route from Venice via Verona through the Brenner Pass put Innsbruck on the map and made these Tyrol merchants wealthy. There are excellent world cuisine restaurants nearby, all in walking distance.

There is a bar just below the hotel in the back with late hours and loud clientele. Hard to sleep due to their noise. But mondschien means moonlight -- so enjoy!

The hotel location is easily accessible by bus from the airport 3 km or so away. Worth noting, this journey is covered by the Innsbruck card. Its situation on the edge of the centre affords beautiful views over the river to the old town. It is modern, clean and well equipped with a lift, yet set in a beautiful ancient building, part of a photogenic row of quirky multicoloured elbow to elbow townhouses. My 5th floor single room was a good size and comfortable in every way, with amazing panoramic views across the river to the market, the myriad of duomos, spires and oddly shaped roofs characteristic of the old town and the snow topped mountains beyond. Breakfast was served in a pretty and spacious room overlooking the river. An eye popping feast of everything fresh and tasty you could dream of was laid out artistically every morning, ample, creative and hugely varied - lots to enjoy for the vegans among us too! Personalised service was provided by a delightful and super diligent lady. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at reception either who showed genuine kindness, intelligence and efficiency. They all seemed to be expert linguists. They provided advice, booked a taxi for me and even insisted on preparing an early takeaway breakfast at 4.30AM… There is a cosy attractive bar on the ground floor, but I tended to eat and drink while exploring the many other options within walking distance. I am already looking forward to staying at Hotel Mondschein when I return to Innsbruck! Or maybe I shall simply return to this super welcoming hotel and enjoy Innsbruck as a bonus…

The location was perfect: It is close enough to walk to all the good stuff, but far enough to not be noisy! The staff was amazingly kind, from front desk, to breakfast staff, to the bartender! It has AC. We were so hot everywhere else. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. I am totally satisfied. It was well worth the price we paid.

The only thing I would have liked to have is better pillows. I almost bought a pillow for 2 nights use. The decor was plain, but the hotel was clean and a great value. I loved it there and will return in the future and stay there again.

The Hotel was in a very , very good location. It was only 20m's from the main bridge in the centre of Innsbruck that crossed the river. This means that you are only 200m's from the Golden Roof, shop's and the main centre of the city with all the great restaurants. The breakfast was very good and we had a room with a view over the river to the Old city it matched our expectations. The ceiling in the room when at night, when the light was switched off was completely covered in stars. "Magnificent".

The weather as it rained for one day. The bath towels were on the small size.

The location was perfect, right on the river in the center of the old city. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff were excellent. I arrived very late due to a delayed train and the lovely man working at reception brought me a plate of bread and honey to my room.

The only thing that could have been better was breakfast. It would have been good to have some form of salad items. Also, solo travelers are already disadvantaged by having to pay relatively more for a smaller room, and so to be asked to move from a table by the window ("it is NOT allowed!") to a small table in the middle of the room was disappointing, particularly since there were four window tables that remained empty during the remainder of the breakfast period.

The location is perfect- set in a quaint row of historic buildings directly on the river, at the main bridge that takes you into the oldest part of the city, and situated with 360 degree spectacular mountain views. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast buffet is nice, as is the room used to host the breakfast.

The rooms are sufficient, and basic with minimal flat decor and outdated furnishings/fixtures. However, everything is kept spotless clean and the rooms were workable. What the hotel lacks interior, it makes up for in location and exterior charm.

The location is excellent for the old town and the rooms were basic but good. The breakfast room has a lovely view on the river towards the old town. Rooms at the back have a nice view of Höttinger Gasse.

Some parts were a little worn and I was particularly concerned with the loose and broken light fittings in the shower. I had a room at the back which got noisy (Saturday) with the bars outside so if you are a light sleeper, it may be good to ask for another room. Also none of the British TV channels appeared to work... But I wasn't really there for the TV..
