Great location and nice ambiente. i am visiting the hotel whenever i am in Salzburg. has a lot of the flair of a hotel that has been part of this city for decades althoug totally renovated. the staff was amazing in helping us in every need. the view to the river is amazing

electrics are a problem.. not working as they should. tried for ever to switch off all lights without using the master off switch because when i did use it i could not charge my phone. push of a button to the resutl takes about 8 sec. so you never know. needs something better

Great location , historic building with modern amenities. Very clean . Nice spa area with lots of privacy. Excellent public spaces and nice rooms.

More training required of some staff members and probably more staff required. Phone calls for hotel services were often not answered. Even when answered follow up did not always happen. The in room continental breakfast has very little variety . With out add ons , it’s basically a small pot of tea , a few pieces of bread/ plain croissant and an orange juice.

The room was very nice and beautifully furnished. However, there were so many closets and shelves, none of which most people staying a few days use and no space for luggage. We had two suitcases but even the bellman could not find space for the second one. Also, every bit of space on the “desk” was covered with plates, cutlery and linen napkins…all unnecessary since we were not eating in our room. Bottom line….beautiful to look at but could be much more functional.

The fact that the room although beautiful was not functional. Even in the bathroom I had to move a half dozen beautiful knickknacks in order to use the sink area.

The junior suite with river view we were given was truly amazing and exceeded our expectations, the decor was perfect for our stay. Staff were so graceful and polite tending to our requests. We loved all the little touches such as mini Sacher tortes on arrival to have, the 2-3x daily making up of the room. The beds are comfortable. We very much thank the staff team for making our stay so wonderful and welcoming. It felt like home away from home.

That there isn’t a mirror by the dressing table for getting make up ready when sat down, however that’s a minor inconvenience / observation.

Very friendly staff. I stayed there for my wedding, we did our wedding preparations there. They allowed us to freely shoot in the hotel without any qualms. And they have assisted us in everything we needed. The night of our wedding, they decorated our room as if it is a honeymoon suite. And gave us love locks, which we placed on the bridge nearby. Truly a wonderful stay. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Salzburg.

We only had breakfast in the room. The cooked meals could use some improvement. Under done eggs.

The Club Sandwich in the bar. Not particularly nice. Let them down!

Everything about the hotel was truly exceptional. The staff’s attention to detail is amazing. We will definitely be back. After staying and experiencing a hotel like this, one cannot accept anything less than this standard in a hotel.

More baby chairs are required in the hotel.

Hotel Sacher is one of our favorites. Elegant small hotel with wonderful staff. This is a hotel that is very dedicated to the art of refined service and it shows in the quality of the staff. The public rooms are extremely well-appointed and the guest rooms are no exception. We had a lovely room with plenty of storage space and beautiful views of the fortress. Rooms are quiet. Bathrooms amazing.

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in some amazing hotels. The Sacher is by far my favorite! The staff treated us like family and their services are unparalleled in the hospitality industry. I cannot recommend this property more highly!
