I loved staying here. Visiting Salzburg was very impromptu so I only booked for one night before moving on to Vienna. I wish I had stayed another night at the very least, and the Guest House was a big reason for this. It’s a stunning place. Huge rooms, a very nice fresh breakfast with, I believe, fresh and local ingredients. A nice chapel which overlooks the church. Very helpful staff with clear instructions as to what to do if you arrive out of hours. Thank you all.
I think having some king of manual as to what is at the Guest House (such as the chapel, some background in to the church, its history etc) would be great. But it’s only because I was so impressed did I want to know more and see what else was available for its residents.

What a beautiful, magical place! There are not enough good words in the world to describe how beautiful and perfect this hotel was. From the moment you unlock the big wooden front door, you are transported into a truly special place. I could have spent hours in the courtyard just listening to the fountain! The rooms were modestly appointed but had everything you would need, the bed was comfortable, and the towel warmer in the bathroom was a special touch. The church attached to the hotel is beautiful and a great place to stop in at night for a moment of peace. My favorite part though? Their homemade marmalades and bread for breakfast (and the jammy soft boiled eggs!!) The nectarine marmalade was like eating happiness and sunshine! Location couldn’t be more perfect - short walk from Schloss Mirabell and the old town. I will stay here again next time I’m in Salzburg!

Lovely accomodation in an excellent location. Minutes from both the old town and Mirabell Palace and Gardens. Bus stops nearby for easy connections from the train station to the property and for day trips. The accomodation is great value for money. Plentiful breakfast with plenty seating available, including some tables in the courtyard. I found it very quiet despite the central location, as the rooms had double glazed windows. The staff were lovely and friendly. My room was very spacious and along with everywhere in the property, was spotlessly clean. I would definately stay here again on any future trips.

My stay was in a single room equipped with a private bathroom, situated in an excellent location that allowed for easy exploration of the surrounding area on foot. The room itself was not only comfortable and clean but also well-appointed with essential cleaning products. An added convenience was the inclusion of a kettle and a selection of herbal teas, which I found to be a thoughtful touch. The breakfast offered was notably diverse, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Additionally, the staff's friendliness and willingness to assist contributed significantly to the positive atmosphere of the accommodation.

Building is beautiful. Location super central. Comfortable bed with good shower. Very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. No noise heard between rooms as thick walls. Breakfast is a very good continental type with lots of choice of cereals, seeds, jams, breads, cheeses, ham, hard boiled eggs, yoghurts and fresh fruit.
Noise from the road outside very loud despite having 2 windows on outside and inside of thick wall and bin lorry/deliveries starts around 6am almost every day. The bells from this building and other nearby churches are loud but only from 6am/7am so throughout the night is ok. Have given score of 8 out of 10 only because of little sleep but otherwise would've given a 10. If sleep heavy then probably OK. I would stay there again, however, would ask if they have rooms facing courtyard or rear of building.

Everything was superb. The location is very good, right next to Mirabell Gardens. There are many bus stops nearby, and it's under a 20-minute walk from the train station. You can walk to the river in under 5 minutes. Very convenient for people who want to take city walks, as you can walk to nearly every place. The breakfast is excellent; I really liked the eggs and the sweet corns. They also have coffee, milk, and hot chocolate available, along with plenty of types of tea. There are also tea bags in the room. The room itself is quite good—very spacious and clean. The bed is very comfortable. Overall, everything is perfect.
I enjoyed everything, including the beautiful yard and the architecture of the buildings. It feels like you're living in a cathedral. You can see the towers and the dome every day as you walk by. It is truly amazing.

Location couldn't have been better, I walked there from the main train station and it's also very close to the town centre, main attractions, shops & restaurants, as well as about 1 minute walk to the bus stop on Makartplatz (for buses to Hellbrunn or train station) Room was very spacious, bright and clean, with nice views out on to the street. It was nice that there was a kettle and tea in the room too. Breakfast was good, not tons of options but still perfectly tasty. There is a communal fridge which was very close to my room, ideal for storing snacks and drinks. Great shower! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The building itself was also beautiful!
I was woken very early by the noisy trucks out on the street (I think collecting rubbish?) But it wouldn't put me off staying again.

It was reburbished from a church, so I walked past a few times searching for the hotel. The building is beautiful and only 2 mins to Old Town. Breakfast is superb, and the environment is very clean. One or two bus stops away from the central train station.
Reception is closed after 4 pm. Encountered some elderly guests having problems, but no one is available to help them. I got a reply from them only the next day that the reception staff do not reply to messages after 4 pm. as I was trying to text them. Imagine those elderly stranded in the cold and unable to check in. Was wondering why they provided ear plugs, and I realised later that the noise pollution from nearby pubs can be quite loud.

The accommodation is very comfortable. The room was quite large and the ensuite bigger than expected. The furniture is fairly sparse but adequate. It is only a single bed but that was expected. The building itself is lovely and the breakfast had a lot of choice without hot options. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The guest house is fabulously located. Easy to walk to the sights with many restaurants close by. While I was there it was quiet, I didn't need ear plugs.
In winter there's a short outside walk to the breakfast room. So take a jacket. There really wasn't anything I didn't like. No TV in the room of course but lots of common spaces.

It’s a lovely location in a beautiful building. It’s clean and comfy and centrally located. The breakfast was good too. All the reviews state that it can be noisy due to its location and earplugs are provided but perhaps there aren’t many people partying outside in march because we didn’t hear a thing. The reception staff were also very helpful.
The rooms were slightly sparse and not a huge range of breakfasts but I’m clutching at straws really it was very good!
