The hotel is located in a quiet area near the train station. There was a tram stop at the end of the road and other trams could be caught from the train station that went into the centre. The decor was old fashioned and we had old fashioned keys with heavy key fobs on them, which we had to leave in reception. Breakfast was quite good with a good range of food.

The shower head was a hand held type over the bath, not fixed to the wall at head height, which made it difficult when washing my hair. They said they could look after our luggage for the morning, but our suitcases were just left in a corridor next to the reception area, which we did not think was very secure, but they assured us it was OK.

The hotel is a few blocks from the railway station, meaning it’s well connected in terms of transport, but quiet. But you do need transport to get to the center. All good with the staff. All good with the breakfast. Air condition was a blessing.

Aside from the air condition, which was excellent, the rest of the facilities were just OK. For example, I could not find a way to regulate the flow of the shower; thankfully the pressure was on the strong side.

Good and quiet location, about 5 mins' walk from Salzburg main station. Room is clean and has a kettle. The hotel lift is a welcome sight too. Special mention to the friendly Michala who gave us much recommendations on places to visit, dinner and even the bus services to Old Town where the bus stop is round the corner of hotel, save us from walking 25 mins back and forth during our 3 days' stay.

Nothing except the curtains in the room didn't cover the whole window. The bright light as early as 5am woke us up.

Clean, comfortable beds, liked having the mini refrigerator in the room, the man at reception was really helpful and friendly and gave us some good tips for our stay and things to do in Salzburg. They have bike hire which we utilised during our stay which was an additional benefit.

Email said bike hire was 18 Euro but we were charged 20 Euro. Asked for a bowl to use for our breakfast but they did not give us one. Would have been good if the TV had Netflix.

Very nice and cozy family-owned hotel. The location is perfect - only 5 minutes walk from the train station and then the rest of Salzburg is easily accessible, it takes 10-15 minutes walk to reach the riverside. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful, better then I had in 4-star chain hotels. The room was nice and quiet, with all the amenities (and a kettle. I like the kettle because I drink a lot of tea)

The bathroom was a bit small, with the toilet located too close to the shower. Wasn't a problem for me, but could be an issue for some people.

The hotel was exactly what we needed it to be; a place to sleep that was close to all of the areas we needed to be. The hotel was a 20-minute walk to Old Town, a 5-minute walk to the train station and a 10-minute walk to Mirabel Palace where we picked up 4 tours (Sound of Music, Hallstatt, Eagle's Nest and Salt Mines). It's close to everything you need and the amenities are fine. It is a bit pricey, but so are all hotels in Salzburg. It's a city of 150,000 people that receives like 10 million tourists per year.

Small hotel delivering personalised service. Staff provided excellent service and were helpful. The buffet breakfast had quite a few meat options and not many non-meat options so we didn't have breakfast. The hotel has 24 hours reception and I think the bar was, too. Only two stories, the hotel as a lift. A small room fridge with beer, wine and water for purchase. Our room had a bench table, which was handy for takeaways! Efficient, individual, temperature controlled air conditioning. Excellent bathroom and great shower. There is an outside terrace, with a lot of shade so very comfortable on those hot days! Location is good, being less than 10 minutes from the railway station and less than 15 minutes to Mirabella Gardens, which in turn is a short walk to the Old City.

People mention the rooms being a tad small but that's pretty hard to change!

Super location, really close to the train station and about a 15 minute walk into the heart of Salzburg. The rooms were really big air-conditioned, and we really loved the big deep bath. The members of staff were all really friendly and helped make our six days in Salsburg, a great and memorable experience.

The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel reception staff and the lady who prepared the breakfast are friendly, helpful and thoughtful. The breakfast spread is hot and delicious. Fruits are super fresh. The hotel's location is a mere walking distance of around 500mtr to the Salzburg Train Station. We have a very pleasant stay in this hotel.

Hotel was fine for our needs, a very pleasant room. The staff went above and beyond to help us, even calling a local restaurant to see if they had gluten free menus. Lovely people, a credit to their heritage of a family run hotel.

Nothing to note here. I wanted secure parking and although private, the parking lot next door was open to anyone, it was like a gravel parking lot. It seemed a lovely and safe area but wanted to share my thoughts with you. Car was fine 🙂 I'm just meticulous when it comes to my car
