We loved this hotel, it was in the perfect location, so handy to everything and the staff were so helpful. We were in the 2nd building up the road (and actually preferred that location to the original, even though they were both great). This was a great budget property, it was clean and spacious. We never saw the staff but I would message them and they were so helpful, they followed up when airline lost our bag and kept us updated, booked taxi for us etc. 10 stars for service. The heating was central heating and we were a bit worried about not being in control, esp as it was freezing outside but the room was always warm and cosy. The staff did explain the water takes a few minutes to heat up but thats fine, were extremely greatful they explained that otherwise we would have thought the water was cold the whole trip. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing I would add would be a small fridge in the room but apart from that it would great

Easy to get to from the airport. S7 train and metro U2 to Schotennor. 4 min walk. Easy access to city either walking or using the very efficient transport links. I stayed in the second building in single room. Room was very clean and cleaned daily. Staff were informative and helpful with maps etc. Kettle in room but no coffee/tea or cups/spoons. Bed comfy. Had quiet stay. Stayed solo and felt safe.

The second building has no outside light so you are fumbling to open the door with keys. There is also no immediate light inside the entrance which is needed at night.

Pension is well placed to explore the city. Nearest U Bahn and S bahn stops at Schottentor or S Bahn D for Schloss Belvedere from Schlickgasse. Andy and staff exceedlingly helpful and helped made stay a success. We e mailed to ask for Almond milk as one of our party has intolerance to cows milk. This was provided. Breakfast simple but excellent

Road noise despite double glazing. There are traffic lights outside so vehicles louder than normal.

Location is great, close to city center and many restaurants and bars. It's a perfect choice especially if you want to visit the main attractions in the city. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was pretty cold, there was one radiator that didn't really heat up (but this was not a problem at night because the bed covers were really thick and warm). Also, the wi-fi signal in the room was pretty bad and almost impossible to use.

Central place and safe -15min on foot from sightseeings. Near metro station. Clean room, luminous and quiet. Hair dryer available. Single bed, but very comfortable. Room placed in another building 2 blocks away from Pension/reception..

This was a perfect room for us! We stayed for 4 nights and it provided everything we needed. We got into Vienna late and a member of staff was happy to stay past the check in time for us. Very easy checking in, our room was in a different building in which the member of staff walked us right to the door. Bed were comfy and was so close to the city centre, it was a perfect location not even a five minute walk before you see the beautiful city:)

The owner arrange special ate check in at 12 30 midnight without charge. The owner able to highlight the attraction of city and even point out to me the direction to get around the city by walk me outside the hotel. Breakfast is fantastic. The location is near to attraction, right at city centre, lots of transportation. There is kettle in the room. For quick visit, I strongly recommend this hotel due to their super service and centralized location

Really fair dealing Pension! Like an idiot I booked the wrong night so we turned up a day early at 11:30 at night. We phoned and the very nice man came and let us in and found us an alternative room. They also refunded the amount we'd paid for the following day. Really appreciated that kindness.

the room was sweltering, but then they were expecting us so it might not have been... it cooled off over the night.

Location - excellent. Beds - very comfortable. Very good supply of hot water in the shower room. Very helpful staff who arranged a late check-in on arrival and ordered a taxi on check-out. There is an excellent Italian trattoria/pizzeria (Da Luigi) opposite the pension.

The shower room WC could benefit from the application of bleach. There was noise (from the laundry room?), which woke me up at 4 am on Sunday! The sign outside would benefit from a lightbulb to show up easily in the street.
