Location was excellent a 10 minute walk to centre of Vienna. Really friendly and helpful staff. Arrange taxi pick up for us as we were a late flight. Room was clean and of a very high standard. Breakfast amazing choice. Fresh and replenished constantly. Lovely breakfast area. There was a bar area and the barman Sanjay was exceptional friendly professional and knowledgeable. Does an excellent line in cocktails. Hotel has an incentive....so if you choose not to change your towel etc you get a 15% discount in the bar.....so we choose to use towels 2 days in a row and took advantage of discount! Every single member of the team from night porter to housekeeping to reception to bar and breakfast team were exceptional. I don't think I can fault anything about this wonderful hotel. Thank you they made my first trip to Vienna perfect

Nothing as it was one of the best hotels I have ever been in.

The hotel "Kaiserhof" is clean and super nice. Moreover, it is a place with great history, and you feel it at every step :) The location of the hotel is wonderful: as it is located in the heart of Vienna, it is close to the all main sights, Opera Theatre. We had everything we would need in the hotel. It was very clean, though the room was a bit small for our group. We received a small gift when we were checking out, that was very nice. I would like to mention the perfect breakfast - we had the room with the breakfast included, and it was really incredible: besides the standard breakfast dishes like omelette, wonderful cheeses and so on, we got a chance to taste fruits, bakery, everything was soo delicious :) I even saw the wines here, so it was impressive. During our next visit to Vienna we will try to stay here again.

Breakfast is excellent and is served buffet style between 7am and 10.30am. It is a traditional meal with a selection of breads, cereals, hams and cheeses. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, as are the suites. Amenities were provided, including slippers, cotton, cotton swabs, shampoo and body soap. The hotel is easily accessible from the station and can be reached within a 10-minute walk from the U4 underground station. The walk to the hotel was flat and comfortable.

The hotel entrance has stairs and could do with a ramp. It was also disappointing that stairs were also present on the way to the lift. The fridge is stylish with glass walls, but its performance is weak and it takes a long time to cool down.

Excellent hotel for the price, great location. Superb breakfasts. We didn't use the hotel's parking, instead we parked our car in the nearby institute's garage. The breakfasts were amazing, restaurant-quality. The staff were very polite and friendly

We stayed on the 6th floor, where the housekeeping cart was always present. It didn't cause any discomfort, but for a hotel of this caliber, this aspect could be improved. The second issue we encountered was that the room access cards frequently stopped working. The polite staff always provided new cards, but it was quite strange that this happened in the first place

Comfy, well placed, good breakfast although no change throughout 3 days of my stay. Quiet!!

I was very disappointed that I didn't get the suite that appeared in the photos in my confirmation. At the reception they said they can't do anything about it because 'that suite was taken' and that photos are informative. I say it's more like deceptive because the one I got wasn't even displayed. As the receptionist said 'we have 3 kinds of suites' but they only show the most spacious one at the attic. I payed for the most expensive suite thinking I'll get what they show in photos, but got something I didn't expect.

A beautiful hotel in a very good location. Some aspects are exceptional, especially the breakfast made even more amazing by the friendly and very professional staff, Mr Covini being the star of the breakfast service.

The front of house staff service was somewhat inconsistent; we were assisted by some very efficient and friendly reception staff but then we also had to put up with a rather rude and unhelpful person who did not seem to understand how to make guests feel welcome. I am pleased to say he was the exception.

One of the best hotels that I have stayed in, really close to the city center and Karlsplatz metro station, also to the main tourist attractions from Vienna. The hotel has spacious, very clean, rooms and a great sauna to enjoy. The staff is really helpful and nice. We had breakfast included, with several options of food and drink, including champagne/ prosecco, which was a very nice touch for breakfast. Also, the hotel offers a wide range of useful products of self care and a nice minibar.

The water pressure was a little low.

Kudos to absolutely comfortable bed and fine amenities. True to its name the decor is reminiscent of late 19th C ~ early 20th C, so if you are looking for a place with style and character this place is for you. And contrary to its finishing the inside of the room is rather quite to the point where I would wager soundproofing was involved. I particularly would like to highlight the water station near the reception as one of my favorites from Kaiserhof, which was a lifesavior during the scorching weather in a hotel without vending machines. There is of course a generous water bottle containing aqueduct water in the rooms but installing the water station in the public corner tells all you need to know about the level of service you can expect from the establishment. BREAKFAST. Hands down some of the finest I had experienced so far, not just during this journey but out of entire travels in my life. Kaiserhof's breakfast deserves a separate tier by itself, I don't understand how one could lump Kaiserhof's breakfast with breakfasts from other hotels under the same 'good breakfast' banner. If jam and cheese are on your regular breakfast menu you have to visit this place. You will thank me, and you are very welcome. STAFF. THE most welcoming and friendly team I had the pleasure of meeting during my stay in Austria. They went over and beyond to fulfill the smallest request. Thank you again. Overall, 20/10. This establishment stands true to its imperial moniker, and I will be choosing Kaiserhof straightaway should I return to Vienna. I am sure your stay would be as pleasing and comfortable as mine.

Breakfast delicious, room equipped, clean and quiet, services perfect, people helpful, hotel near center and metro station, very nice decoration in hotel and room too (Vienna style)

Short stairs led to the elevator, it could be challenging with large suitcases.

Great breakfast. Nice little living room/ museum on the way to the dining room. Rooms come with North American plugs which we needed.

When I was checking out, I made the mistake of paying with dollars and within 2 seconds asked if I could change my mind but was told I couldn’t. Thinking back on this I feel that was not true. We could always reverse a credit card charge. Maybe the host didn’t know how but still possible?
