Our stay was just great! The room was spacious and nicely decorated, offered a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. We really liked the location - it was calm, charming, a walkable distance to various restaurants and bars, and very close to tram/bus stops (you can be in a city centre within 20 minutes). The staff was also helpful and kind. We liked the bar at the ground floor as well. Parking is available, though you can't make reservations (which is a shame but fortunately it was not that heavily occupied). In short - I highly recommend.

Wifi service was not ideal in our room, though it was not a problem for us (I guess it's good to confirm how it works and what's the reach, if that's important to you). A room could use some space to keep the clothes in (apart from hangers). I usually like to unpack, even for a short stay. Not a big deal as well, considering the size of the room. :)

Great decoration. Room was very spacious, a lot of space for two friends (very comfortable). Good bathroom with good shower pressure. Staff was super helpful and nice!! Very quiet at night and curtains made it dark so really good night’s sleep. Great breakfast albeit a little expensive. Also apparently very good restaurant but didn’t get the chance to try. Location is 30min walking from city center, but well connected by train and metro. Would recommend staying here! Especially because you get to experience a more “real life” neighborhood with amazing restaurants close by. Would only make two changes: more hooks in the room and bathroom to hang towels and a mattress that’s just a little harder (I suffer from back issues and a soft mattress is not ideal). Everything else was great!

Rustic style design-hotel with a photo-boot in the lobby plus turntable and and basketball ring in your room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Extremely good breakfast with plenty of food and drinks incl self-made juice. Friendly service. Not very close to metro, but not very far from centre - about half an hour by foot to Volksopera.

Some small issues (WC water kept running until you managed to shut it down, you cannot load telephone and keep the light on at the same time, lack of soap on bathroom wall, noisy ventilator) did not allow to put max points, but in overall it was OK. In the evening the hotel restaurant was very popular and busy, so you'll have to book a table before, but beware that your dinner could be quite expensive.

Everything about my stay was perfect: the comfort, the impeccable cleanliness, and the fantastic breakfast that exceeded all expectations. The location is another highlight—conveniently placed within walking distance of Vienna’s most beautiful sights. If I ever return to Vienna, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else. This hotel is now my undisputed favorite. Highly recommended!

Honestly, I couldn't find a single detail that didn't match my royal guest feeling. Every aspect of my stay was flawlessly aligned with comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality.

I really liked the design of the hotel and the room. It was something you don't encounter often and the vibe is cool. It has cool features like photo booth in the lobby and they have a small cinema and they did a screening was The Eras Tour after the shows were cancelled which was very nice of them. We had a loft room so it was airy and spacious , there was enough storage and no small annoying shelves in the bathroom. The bed and windows were big. The reception was always super helpful and nice ! we used their help many times Location is not bad ,seemed safe and usually 30 minutes to most central places. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the bus/metro stops we used. It also had restaurants and grocery stores near it.

It was really missing a fridge where I can store some fruits and water. Small things - Shower is modern and has no door to close so you need to be careful not to make a puddle Bed position was a bit odd in the room

Very modern and funky looking hotel - the room was cool, furnished in a fun way, there was even a record player inside and you could play different records. The location is good, well connected to the city center and also reachable on foot. The breakfast was really good, I had the best homemade granola there, and everything else was super good too. Worth it just for that!

The room could be a bit more functional, for example there was no real closet with shelves / good storage for clothes and luggage. The bathroom was separated from the room only with a sliding door - and it had window "walls"/glass doors; it didn't really feel like a separate room (you could also hear everything), so that didn't give a lot of privacy.

This hotel was a wonderful experience! The design is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. A special thanks to Bella for her exceptional service. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included—the food is fantastic! The hotel restaurant was also an excellent experience, with delicious food and outstanding service. Be sure to book a reservation in advance, as it’s very popular! I’m already looking forward to staying at other hotels in Max Brown chain and hoping they expand to every city around the world!

Great location even if some distance from the innercity. You can walk to the shopping area within 15 min and to Hofburg within 20. Hotel restaurant looks great and trendy (we did not attend) and lots of amazing cafes and restaurants are available around. We got upgraded to Large Room and the room was really perfekt : amazing bed, large shower, backyard view, very calm and all the way clean. Fitting was fun with phono (working!) and mini basketball net. Reception staff was very kind and helpful.

Nothing really to mention. Minor thing to improve, if any : there is no coffee in the room, only tea. But with 3 supermarkets less than 50m away this is really not an issue. Enjoy!

The staff were very prompt and helpful to reply to emails before our arrival and facilitated a late check-in (24hr desk). The parking was easy and just below the hotel. Staff also recommended bars and places to visit. They notified us at check-in that cleaning was every 2nd day but this was perfectly fine for us! Room was very spacious and clean (medium double room). Bed and covers were comfortable and air-conditioning worked great. Slightly out of the main district but there's only 3-4 bus stops to the centre + short walk. The area itself has many cute bars, cafes and is quiet and very pleasant!

Slightly loud stairwell can be heard from the bedroom but it was only briefly and not a nuisance at all! Nothing else to criticise!

Max Brown Vienna has one of those alternative vibes that felt kinda hip 10 years ago but that’s tiring now. Those mid-century junk shop finds and in-room record players, eh? The fabric is ageing, too. Our bathroom had a cracked sink sitting on a warped black plinth and the shower head wouldn’t stop flopping. But the location is solid (few stops on the tram from all the good stuff), the staff were cheery and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent (if pricey). And check the parking conditions - parking is available, but as of Aug ‘24, it’s €26 a day. Not bad by city standards, but we’d assumed (bother) it was included. Overall, a good experience, but with room for improvement.

We asked for adjoining rooms for our family a month in advance but these weren’t arranged by the time of our arrival. We spent half an hour at check-in finding a workaround. A bad start. This website claimed the rooms would have a ‘view’, which they did, if we can agree that a view of a wall is a view worth boasting about (see pic). Housekeeping only visited once in our three days at the property. Kettle and teabags in the room, but no coffee-making facility or fridge.
