Clean and comfortable room with helpful and informed staff. Easy access to the beach with private beach with plenty of sun loungers. Walkable to museum, art galleries, distillery etc which was very convenient.

Very close to the cruise ship terminal which meant everything nearby was only open when the ships were docked (and therefore crowded) and finding nearby dinner options outside the hotel was extremely limited.

I loved the attentive, caring and hospitable staff. They ensured that my stay was going smoothly and availed themselves to any need that could be met. The location is ideal for entertainment, food or shopping. You can walk to each thing with ease even other eateries other than the hotel. Overall is accommodating, luxurious and most revitalizing .

Well they are just opening so not all restaurants are opened within the hotel as yet. They had a soft but accommodating opening.

Location was very idea for downtown Nassau.

That you couldn’t use your wristband to get back into gate on sister property if you walked towards Margaritaville.

Room had a bad odor. We reported it the first night and someone cleaned the floor, which improved the smell. However, every day after that, the odor remained. It was very off-putting and never went away. The room smelled like fish, and we began to think it was simply from the water and drains. One other issue is the lack of affordable and convenient food options. The prices are extremely high, and the surrounding options all close at 6:00 pm. The location and facilities are great, however.

Relaxed and quiet atmosphere . Some days felt like we were the only guests . Nice property however this is more of a hotel vibe not a resort . Rooms are small but clean . Staff was wonderful !

The food prices were extremely high . When eating in in the restaurants I noticed prices varied on soft drinks once 5 , once 3 and once 3.75 . No night life things in the area are very dependent on the cruise ships so at night the surrounding area is pretty much closed .

The location was awesome and the facilities were well kept .

The hotel made a mistake on the reservation We checked in over the phone because of flight reasons We were not able to arrive the day of the booking ..However, I called in my checking over the phone The front desk reassured me that everything was ok and ready for the next day. Arriving to the hotel the next day The reservation was cancelled and the staff didn't communicate the information with all parties involved. After two hours of back and forth they realized that they made the mistake with no apology and took us to a room that I had not booked .. The manager didn't care to get involved or apologize . My suggestion is staff training management training. .. Hope that you guys get a better system to assist guess that will have to deal with flight delays or cancellations..

Good location right in Nassau with a very pleasant pool and (relatively small) beach area. Nice view of the water though the hotel was built in 1901 and none of the rooms have balconies!

Front desk staff was pleasant but had a very hard time getting charges right or explaining them. Businesses totally cater to the cruise ships so everything essentially closes once they leave in the late afternoon. It was almost impossible to find an open restaurant for dinner!

The hotel is wonderfully located at the heart of Nassau, you can grab a bite to eat, take a stroll to nearby beaches, catch tours. It's an architectural marvel from the outside and tastefully furnished inside. It was a comfortable stay. I also loved the beach, it was quiet for Nassau with chairs and umbrellas, the pool area is also super gorgeous for a good day of relaxation. Special thanks to the hotel, I requested an early check-in and it was organized in time for my arrival. Finally, the staff were all amazing, from the doorman to the front desk and even poolside. This journey is part of a Travel Guru Life Expedition

Be prepared for a relatively long wait at the check-in desk, the hotel is extremely busy. The tours offered at the desk at the hotel are 'okay', look and book elsewhere.

The hotel was great, the location was downtown Nassau, so there were several cruise ships in the area per day. When I checked in, I was visibly upset as I had transferred from a stay at an apartment, hosted by a private host. I only stayed the 1 night as I had an awful experience, made worse the morning I was leaving as I had only booked the British Colonial the night before. The lady at reception could see I was upset and asked if there was anything she could do, she allowed me to check in much earlier than the scheduled time.

the cruise ships which also used the hotel's facilities, which made it busy at times.

The food was OK, the beach and pool were very good. The location was awesome. Was able to move around the island walking, we only needed a taxi for the airport

I did not like how the front desk receptionist who checked my family in listening skills was very poor. She made promises she couldn't keep and lied about making changes to our ocean front room we purchased and never received. Demetre tried to make it right. However, a food voucher can never equal nor suffice a 5 night oceanview stay.
