Great family room. Large space with seating area plus min fridge. Great location. Quiet, easy to walk anywhere.

The room was excellent. The view was wonderful, overlooking the canal, the trees, flower boxes, and boats. Having the lift was most welcome, especially as I was on the third floor. The ease of walking into the really beautiful old centre was terrific. There wasn’t much traffic noise, which allowed for a good sleep. The gentleman at check-out was lovely. He allowed me to leave my suitcase & backpack in the meeting room while I walked once more around town. I was leaving the station around midday.

The only negative was the attitude of the young woman on duty on my first morning. I went down for breakfast, and asked her for a table for one. She began getting things ready for service. I have always been shown to a table, or have one indicated to me. Eventually she told me to just go in and take a table.

This was such a fabulous find of a hotel! It was brilliantly located only 10 min walk from the centre along the canal so a pretty walk. The location was also quiet and we had a lovely view out of the window over the rooftops and canal. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed us with a warm smile every time. The room was huge - plenty large enough for a family of four with 2 tall teenagers! We had a family room, so two enormous twin/double beds, sofa, table, chairs desk etc. It was up in the roof so cosy feeling. Bathroom was excellent and all clean. Breakfast was a good spread for the size of hotel and excellent range of food and tasty too! I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone, most especially families. It was excellent value as well.

Absolutely nothing!

The location was fantastic. Just out of the main areas so nice and quiet but only a fifteen minute stroll to most tourist areas. The hotel felt very safe as a solo traveller and staff were extremely friendly. I didn't need much assistance but would have definitely felt comfortable reaching out, if needed. The room was a great size with all amenities, as described and was perfectly clean throughout my stay.

The bed was extremely soft, especially around the edges. It felt like it was probably quite old and a new one might be needed. As a solo traveller, I could sleep in the middle, so it wasn't so bad but if there were two people, it would have been quite uncomfortable.

The hotel had a beautiful outlook into the canal. The staff were very helpful and the bedrooms were very large and comfortable

Nothing I didn’t like

For me, the location was optimal. An easy 10-12 minute walk to the center museums, restaurants and major attractions. Lovely canal view. Great quiet street and hotel to return to after the hustle and bustle of the crowds. Room was very comfortable and clean. If you need to do laundry, it’s across the street. As a solo traveler, I rate this the highest possible. 24/7 front desk staff and extremely friendly. Especially Ann(e) the Manager; she was very warm and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Nothing comes to mind

The room was clean and a good size and the mattress was very comfortable. A large bathroom. It has a lift. It was overlooking a canal which you could walk along into the town centre. Anne at reception was very helpful in advising us of places to see and where to eat. We were able to catch the number 1 bus from the train station which stops opposite the hotel. There are grocery stores within 5-10 mins walk. Bruges is a charming town.

It had a step in shower-bath which I find more difficult with increasing age. A lot of the nearby restaurants were closed - perhaps due to their summer holidays?

The placement of the hotel was great but what really made it were the ladies who worked there they were so helpful and supportive when we needed them

Totally not the hotels fault but the people we had next door, they were sooooo loud up to about midnight then we heard them being sick it was unbearable, I also found being a couple and having 2 single beds pushed together and single duvets wasn’t the best either. But that was only a minor point

Absolutely beautiful canal view. Straight out of magazine. Staff really helpful and friendly. Great location out of the city centre so nice and quiet but also a quick walk to everything.

The lack of security was concerning. One of the nights there was a man knocking on the doors of other guests rooms quite late. I finally called the front desk and someone came up right away. However when I inquired the next morning, the day staff didn’t know anything about it. You literally can just walk right up. Also the washroom doors are practically see through. Only book if you’re travelling with people you know well!

Our room at Rosenburg Hotel Brugge was outstanding. It was the largest room we had on our month-long trip, making our stay here so wonderful. Having such a large room was lovely to make the most of. The room was very cosy and included a bath which is a rare treat. The included breakfast was very nice and staff were very sweet and polite. We found the location to be excellent - walking distance from everything. It was made even more special given that we got engaged in Brugge!
