The hotel is perfectly located, less than five minutes walk into town, perfect for sights, bars, and restaurants. We received a very warm welcome from Brend and Veronica on arrival. Throughout our stay, Brend gave us lots of tips and suggestions on what to see and where to go. The rooms were clean, with very comfortable beds. The self-service continental breakfast set us up perfectly each day.
All good.

The location was very good, close to the city center but also quiet. The staff very friendly and the place was very cost. Breakfast was good but the best part was the ambiance (music and decorations)
It was quite small (however it was not unexpected considering the buildings in bruges) and you could hear crying babies from the other rooms.

Lovely atmospheric old (1810) property in a great location just off the main square. The owners are wonderful; Very engaging, friendly & helpful, they could not have been nicer. We were four male friends with four rooms spread over three floors. Two of us were in French styled 'shabby chic' attic rooms. Mine was fine (room 8) as one of the roof windows was UPVC & could be opened but my friend (room 7) had two wooden windows which couldn't be opened & it was a little warm & stuffy even in ambient temperatures. The provided fans were utilised in both our rooms for the first couple of nights. The bed in my room was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Shower was good, reasonable power, with hot water & nice lemongrass toiletries supplied. The cubicle was a little small & I had to be careful not to accidentally 'adjust' the the temperature handle with my (ample) body whilst showering & either scald or ice myself! Breakfast was adequate, cold continental fare (lovely bread), coffee very good (no coffee in rooms by the way, just tea. I'm a coffee drinker & always carry my own so no problem). We all had a great time & would all stay at the Botaniek again without the slightest hesitation.
Room 7 I love a hot, cooked breakfast as a treat when on holiday so for me that would be an improvement but I was aware the breakfasts would be cold. Nothing to do with the guest house but beware the restaurant prices all over Bruges - terrifying!

We had a lovely room overlooking the back of the property (see photos of view from our windows). We could see the bell tower in the distance and hear when it chimed. The bathroom was small but serviceable. Breakfast was standard (croissants, bread, cereal, cold meat and cheese, fruit, coffe, tea, juice). The location was great, near the center of town, but far enough away from the crowded, heavily touristed areas to be quiet and pleasant. The hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. I would stay here again without question and recommend it to other travelers.

Incredibly friendly owners, offering a fantastically comfortable, clean, well appointed hotel with good sized rooms and really comfortable beds and a french Chateau feel. The continental breakfast ingredients were high quality, the coffee tasted great, and whole experience was a lot more "soulful" than some of the larger chains that own hotels in Bruges. Underground parking within a block ,and really only 4 or 5 minutes walk form the main square

The hotel was lovely - in a beautiful location, really large room with comfy beds, very clean and a nice bathroom with a powerful hot shower. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and they catered for our speciality diets really well (vegan and my daughter is gluten free also). I would definitely stay there again. It was lovely 😊.
The only thing was the building is quite old and the windows open very wide so we needed to closely supervise the children as it was high up but it wasn't an issue

This hotel is a gem. Close to the main attractions but on a quiet street. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The rooms are not large but comfortable and the bed provided a good night's sleep. The ensuite is quite adequate. Breakfast is excellent even if you're sitting close to your neighbours. Botaniek is good value for money.
Everything was fine. It is a small hotel so best to know that from the outset.

It is a very good and clean apartment close to the old town. The hosts are very friendly and so kind, they can managed all of our wishes. The breakfast was really good with freshly baked breads and croissants.
Some parts of the apartment needs some repair, or change. The door of the shower cabin was not close perfeclty, the floor carpet was a bit aged. These things are not embarassing, but helps us to feel ourselves more comfortable.

I have traveled to many countries and cities so far. I can easily say that Hotel Botaniek was my favorite among the hotels I stayed. The owners are a very cute, funny, caring couple. The place definitely has a soul, every detail is tastefully and carefully designed. The hotel makes you travel back in time in accordance with the spirit and ambiance of the city of Bruges. I was amazed by the candles, candlesticks, decorative objects, flowers, fresh roses on our breakfast table, paintings hanging on the wall and many details that I skipped counting. There was definitely a smell of aesthetics and art in the air. breakfast was very fresh and delicious, and the classical music played during breakfast, in harmony with the spirit of the room where we had breakfast, guaranteed a pleasant and happy start to the day.
Everything was perfect.

Hotel Botaniek is a cute, cosy and comfortable place to stay when in Brugge. The city is like a fairytale and staying in such a hotel with all its special details adds to that fairytale. The rooms are small, which is to be expected in this city, but still comfortable and really clean. The breakfast that's included at a reasonable rate is good and the hosts serve great coffee with it. Having the non-dairy option of oat milk was wonderful! The hosts are friendly and always willing to help. I will definitely return!
