superbly located just a short walk from centre of town. Easy on street parking right outside. A fascinating historical building with space to relax in lobby and bar area.

The room was in the roof area, as were many rooms. There was no window in the room, just a Velux style roof light with electronic remote control. The Velux only opened a couple of inches, then, without fail, automatically closed after 5 minutes. we only realised this after an evening out, & didn’t want to be complaining & changing rooms in the middle of the night. The room was stiflingly hot and incredibly claustrophobic. Photos in listing weren’t up to date, and offered a different ‘feel’ than the real experience. wasn’t aware there was a gym and sauna till I read after our stay.

A lovely location very close to the center. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Lovely to be able to travel with my dog without any problems. The options to check in online beforehand are useful, but I was still asked for all the same information on arrival so not much point.

I booked the hotel parking, but the street parking outside would have been much cheaper and much less hassle. There is actually a parking garage just around the corner. I was lead to believe that the hotel parking was the closest option. It is actually only one space in a private garage so this is not a serious option for people. I asked if I could change to just park outside and was told I would have to pay for the garage too. I was really looking forward to the cooked breakfast, but it was over cooked scrambled eggs, watery mushrooms and dried out bacon. The waffles were awful. Fresh ones are fantastic so it is a shame. The pastries were good. I would recommend getting a fresh breakfast around the corner along with a proper coffee.

The hotel is situated quite close to the centre, but in a quiet area, only 5-6 minutes walk from the centre. The personell at the reception was very friendly and helpfull. We had booked quite small room, perhaps too small for both us and our medium size dog. The hotel had told us beforehand that this could be a problem. However, we worked it out fine and we were very satisfied with our room and where is was situated in the hotel. It was very quiet on the ground floor with direct access to a small courtyard. The curtains shut out all of the sunlight and the airconditioner worked fine, so we slept quite late both days we stayed. The beds were just perfect, and it was possible for us to enjoy coffee or tea in the room. The selection on the TV was fine. It was clean and nice. As we did bring a dog, we didn't enjoy the facilities of the hotel or breakfast. It is quite understabdable and OK with us.

The room was quite small - even with no dog. It seemed as there was no air-conditioning i the bathroom, so when you had a shower, the humidty didn't go away. For us it was not a problem: We just let the air conditioner in the room take care of it.

Jan Britto is a beautiful hotel. My friend and I shared a room and the size was perfect. It was unseasonably warm during our stay. However, this was not a problem as the air conditioner worked quite well to cool off the room and we could open the windows for fresh cool air during the night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very convenient as well - within walking distance to all of the major sites of interest without being on a noisy square. The Breakfast buffet was excellent and most convenient. Also, a lift is available which is very handy for transporting luggage.

We were happy with everything at this hotel.

Characterful and spacious. Our room was was converted from the top of old cottages with open roof beams. We loved having a real bath (there was also a separate shower) Breakfasts were excellent with really good croissants, yogurt and fruit for me and a full cooked breakfast for my husband. The staff were friendly and helpful

The very intrusive metal lighting that’s been constructed around the fountain - please take it out, it makes the garden far less nice than the photos and is very out of keeping with Bruges

The location was great and compared to the prices of other hotels in the area it was cheaper. They were great at communication with booking app messages and emails and they even suggested some restaurants for Christmas Eve dinner. They offered a parking spot near the hotel for 25/night and we booked it because we didn't know whether we would find a spot in the closest Private parking facility. It was a bit pricier than said facility but it offered peace of mind. The staff was great, the location right next to the city center and the building very beautiful.

The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom door which was a weird sliding thing that didn't even close properly. There was no sound insulation between the room and the bathroom and also no insulation of any kind since the door couldn't close properly.

Very good location. close centre. the hotel had no problem with us having a large dog providing you followed their house rule

That there was no private parking although parking was near just made it a little more difficult while have a large dog and having to carry a dog crate over 200 metres to a underground carpark. There was some confusion on my behalf thought I I breakfast was included when made booking. When I looked on filters for you site for breakfast included Jan Brito came up but when got there it was a extra. This should not have come up on your filter so I had to get breakfast else where cheaper in the town

Great location in walking distance to all sights the city has to offer. Great staff, that was very friendly and helpful at all times. Reception and hotel bar basically open 24/7. Very nice facilities (courtyard patio, gym, sauna/spa). Lots of options at the complimentary breakfast buffett.

The room itself was quite small but still okay. The bathroom was not separated by a real door, but an accordian style door instead. The wardrobe, as well as the rest of the interieur seemed a bit antique, with its sliding doors hard to handle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Jan Brito. The location of the hotel was ideal a five minute walk to the town but yet in a quiet location. The breakfast was excellent had great choices. What stood out however was the service. It was par excellence. All the staff were welcoming and helpful but Betty is a true ambassador for Jan Brito. She goes over and beyond in offering assistance and advice to visitors at the hotel .I have stayed at many hotels in different locations and I must say she truly made a difference to our stay . Thank you .

The location was great. The room was decorated beautifully. The size of the room was outstanding Windows could be opened to allow fresh air in. Breakfast was nice. The bed was big and very comfortable. The staff were generally very good if somewhat short sometimes with requests or minor problems.

The road outside was very noisy at times. Our room #1 was level 1 with a road directly outside. Breakfast was very unimaginative. The price is premium and some parts of the hotel are looking tired ( this is a heritage building however) The fridge is very small and hidden in a cupboard under the tv. It seems it was not correctly closed on our arrival and items were hot. Makeup mirror in the bathroom, the inbuilt light does not work. Reported to the front desk but they were not interested. You will hear other guests walking up stairs and above you but it was not that bad thankfully.
