I had a super time at this gorgeous B&B in Brussels. Xavier, the host, is lovely and kind and communicated clearly before I arrived and answered any questions I had during my stay. The room itself is really beautiful - spacious and clean, and one of the biggest bathrooms I’ve ever seen! I enjoyed relaxing in the bathtub after a day of sightseeing 😊 Loved the big breakfast and enjoyed having it in my room each morning - I agree with the other reviewers that the French toast is the best I’ve tasted! The location is perfect - a short walk to the centre and most of the main attractions. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
A small bar fridge in the room wouldn’t go astray, especially in the summer months (but this didn’t effect my experience) 😎

x2 Brussels is a special place: one of those places that if there was the possibility of putting an "11", you would gladly put it. We stayed there for 4 nights, staying in the room on the third floor of a splendid typical building. Excellent cleaning (daily!), excellent staff who follows you for every eventuality. The breakfast served by Xavier and his mother in the large breakfast room on floor 0 was also excellent. We were more than satisfied and will definitely return there if one day we would like to make another "jump" to Brussels. Thanks for everything! Diego & Giusi

The location is great, very close to some of the city's main attractions. It's just around 8 minutes walking. The street is very quiet as well as the neigbourhood. The room and the bathroom were spacious and had enough natural light. Breakfast was very good.
I didn't like the carpet, which covered the large area of the room. Besides, it looked a bit old. It would be better to have a parquet floor, which is much healthier. My room was on the 2nd floor and I could clearly hear the steps of the guests on the third floor from the moment they entered the room. The wooden floor creaked easily, which was a bit disturbing at night.

Very good location and lovely room with good light and elegant, spare decoration. The host had thought about what you’d need - bottled water, bathroom amenities etc. Breakfast was a lovely home-made treat - French toast and scrambled eggs etc. Entrance to the property was very easy, which was good after a day travelling. An excellent TV setup - I was able to connect to my Apple Account and continue watching the series I was half way through.
Only issue - and I should have looked more closely - the room was up three flights of narrow, steep stairs. Doable - but not ideal.

It was my first time going abroad alone and it wouldn’t have been much more better. A special thanks to Xavier and X2Brussels as well. He was really friendly, the room and all was great and it was really in the center of everything. I could just either walk or take metro to MIDI station and go wherever possible. He also did a great summary of Brussels which came handily as well for food, sightseeing etc. All in all, don’t even give it a second thought it’s amazing! Thank you again Xavier! Hopefully I’ll bring a magnet from İstanbul by the next time I’ll visit Belgium 🇹🇷🇧🇪

The room was super spacious, the bathroom was really nice, breakfast was delicious and the owners were so kind. Their carefully curated map of Brussels with two separate walking routes was INCREDIBLE. We had a wonderful time following the routes and visiting/eating at the places suggested. This place was a wonderful find for the price and the neighborhood is cute and fun while still being peaceful.
Our room was a bit dark due to the grey walls and it was a little hot (but so is most of Europe during the summer!)

We literally liked everything: from the owner's first message to the flexibility he demonstrated during the period of our stay. We could leave one of the backpacks in the hotel earlier, and on the last day we were offered a breakfast box because we had to leave too early (at about 6 am). The bed was super comfortable, and the location is lovely — quite close to both the city centre and the Midi Station.
We were staying in Room 2, so there were people above us, and they seemed to have been up and running all night. But that's not the hotel's fault, of course. The rest was fine, we really liked the experience.

The property is in a superb location, within easy walking distance of the Central Railway Station, Grand Place and many good restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of wardrobe space and a large modern bathroom. Breakfast was very good, we especially enjoyed the Organic Yogurt. Both Xavier and Monique asked if we would like anything different for breakfast, we said no as the regular breakfast was delicious. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here gain.

Location was perfect, breakfast was delicious. The best part was engaging in conversation with Xavier and his beautiful mom Monique. They went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. I also enjoyed talking to other guests. We felt as if they were long time friends. The bedroom was very roomy. We had a room with a shower and bathroom had good size as well. Would recommend 100 percent!

Very clean and modern room with a large bathroom. Bottle water was left out for us each day and the breakfast was quite good. Very homey vibe with breakfast as you’re eating at the family table but you can get breakfast in your room too. Xavier, the owner, accommodated a late check-in for us and communicated well throughout. Also the brochure that Xavier put together for recommendations was so tastefully done.
