The room was comfortable. 24 hour check in. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was perfect. There was a hot water kettle. One outlet didn't work but there were a few of them in the room so it wasn't bad. For room cleaning, they sent a text message the day before, so room cleaning wasn't every day. I personally didn't mind. I stayed for 9 nights I think and they cleaned the room once. I thought that was fine. I actually prefer people coming and going into my room less frequently so I was happy with that.

The room was fairly dark. There was only one small window, and it was up really high. So there was no view of anything outside when I'd need to stand on a ladder to see out of it. It was my first time staying at a hotel with no front desk or staff on site. It was fine, but it makes it a little more difficult if there are issues. For example if a door code doesn't seem to be working. Another guest wasn't able to use their elevator code, but they showed me a confirmation of their reservation. I wasn't sure how to help them because my elevator code wouldn't let me type in their floor number.

The room was furnished nicely; it was cozy, comfortable, and clean. We managed to check in a little earlier than posted, as promised. The hotel is in an old building that is, however, recently renovated, so you get best of both worlds. The room was well insulated from noise both within and outside the building.

The service over the support chat was quick, but not very helpful. We had issues with being cold throughout our stay. A combination of the room's ceiling being very tall and the AC positioned at one end of an L-shaped corridor meant it took us 2 days to reach 20 C (starting at 16). Support did not help in any way, besides confirming the AC settings were correct, to resolve the issue. The hotel is positioned close enough to the city centre, but the neighborhood did not sit well with us. Honestly, we were a little worried going out at night, and kept an eye out for any danger.

When I arrived in my room, I noticed a strong cigarette smell. I opened the window, to let some fresh air in, and noticed over a dozen cigarette butts on the ground outside the window. I wrote to customer service and they acted quickly to resolve the problem, bringing over a little odour-removing machine which they left running for 30 mins, after which the bad smell was gone. They also replaced a lightbulb which was not working in the toilet. Apart from that, the room was perfectly fine, well designed, in a good state and well equipped. I appreciated being able to check in a bit earlier and check out a bit later. The complimentary snacks I found in the room added a nice touch. Even though there is no physical reception desk, the staff were very reactive via WhatsApp and quickly resolved those small issues I had.

The stay was lovely, city centre and central train station are a 10 min and metro is 5 min walk from the hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. You get the code, stay instructions and room number via email. There's a safe, mini fridge, kettle and coffee machine in the room. Also huge plus for luggage lockers if you arrive early or leaving late. And anything you need to ask you text them on WhatsApp and they respond very quickly. We would definitely come back.

The breakfast is very basic (you get to pick between croissant, pain au chocolat and cinnamon roll and then you get a glass of apple juice and coffee of choice) and it's not on the premises as they partner with a cafe and you do need to walk 7 min to get there which is ok but if you're staying longer that 2-3 nights you might want to consider other breakfast options. Also rooms are not cleaned during the stay so you have to request towels. I honestly didn't mind any of the above mentioned things as we only stayed for 2 nights and my mum was delighted with the hotel and she's very picky usually especially when it comes to breakfast but I know some people might.

With a simple code dispatched via email, guests gain easy access to their rooms, allowing for a hassle-free check-in process that saves valuable time for exploration. The hotel boasts a high standard of cleanliness and ensures a restful stay with its comfortable beds, while also providing the added convenience of a downstairs laundry room.

Location worked well.

Breakfast was at another location......same breakfast ( boring!) offered every day of our 4 day stay at Numa. Plus the restaurant was "Local only"...limiting various things like COFFEE & no pepper....that changed however after day 2. No housekeeping at all. Numa staff respond to emails quickly....but I really question whether they actually read our emails. Lots of copy & paste it looks like........boohoo ! Some replies were...what? "I just told you in my last email.....we are checking out today!" I question the Value we got

We loved the check-in process - they just sent us a code and we didn't have to take a key with us all the time, just remember the code. The room had a fridge, a pod coffee machine, and an iron in it, which was really nice. We didn't order breakfast as there is a lovely cafe Kaffebar on the other side of the road offering great breakfast for the same price. The location is just wonderful - 10 minutes max and you're right in the heart of the city with all its sightseeings and attractions.

No cleaning in the room during our stay for 4 nights. No desk in the room if you want to work.

The location was quite close to all central locations and public transport. The building was large and felt quite secure with door locks. The facilities were amazing and there was a gym and laundry which could be utilised. The bed was comfortable and came with free snacks which were a welcome touch. The room was very spacious and there were really nice products in the bathroom.

The hallways are a bit shabby and worse for wear. There was some construction outside which cannot be helped but did disturb some guests. Some of the gym equipment was difficult to get to grips with.

Centrally located though a bit off the most crowded streets. In the room was iron and iron board. And ear plugs - not that I needed them. products in the shower included contioner. Big bottle of water, one beer, one juice and a small bag of crisps in the free minibar. I can recommend Kaffabar in the same square for breakfast.

You receive a four digit code to open the building, the elevator and your room. This worked well, but I felt uncomfortable since another person was in the lift with me and might have seen my code. The same code could be used to enter my room. There was no way to lock the room from the inside, so in theory someone could have entered it if they had my code. There must be a better solution, eg in another hotel I know the code is only valid once, and you find a key card in your room on arrival. Only Belgian TV channels.
