Room is not big but cosy and clean. Lobby interior is a fusion of old furniture and modern paintings. Breakfast is not varied but tasteful. Waitress had a struggle with waffle cooking, but I liked the result.

Location is so-so. Not far away from the city center (25 min walk), but the area is quite dirty. My wife would feel uncomfortable walking there alone in the evening. It's 5 minute walk away from the nearest bus stop and 15 minute away from the nearest subway station.

The room was nice and clean, the view was nice and the bed was good.

I expected from my booking that breakfast would be included. When I arrived staff told me it wasn’t included. The room seemed to be recently redecorated. The fire detector was still covered up with tape from the paint job. Besides this there were no bedside lamps and the room lighting could only be operated from the door which was at least 4 meters from the bed. Both inconveniences can be easily fixed. I hope you’ll look into it. My room number was 100. Due to the layout of the room there was no room fore a chair. For a one night stay that’s fine. For staying longer that is inconvenient

A modern and stylish hotel that exceeded expectations. The rooms were exceptionally clean, simply decorated and quiet, with a very comfortable bed and high-quality pillows that made for a restful night's sleep. The lobby area was inviting and well-designed — a great place to relax or wait for a ride. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 13-minute walk to Brussels Midi station, making it easily accessible for train travel. It is also 15-minute leisurely stroll to the city's iconic Grand Place, allowing guests to enjoy the local atmosphere along the way. Initially, I felt slightly uncertain about the location. While it is very close to the city centre, the surrounding area is predominantly home to Middle Eastern and African communities. As European visitors, we were among the few in the area, but at no point did we feel unsafe — even after dark. In fact, we discovered a fantastic Syrian eatery on the main street, shopped at well stocked supermarket, sampled treats from a local sweet shop, and genuinely enjoyed the vibrant cultural mix of the neighborhood. The only aspect that could benefit from some attention was the general cleanliness of the streets of the neighborhood, as there was a noticeable amount of litter around.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Van Belle! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay except electric kettle, tea and coffee stuff, but this is just my need (Really love tea almost every minute) nothing to complain about hotel though. One of the highlights was the cozy bed with fluffy pillows, lovely views on garden and squeaky bathroom ^^ The restaurant/bar was exceptional, offering reaaaaaly good tomato soup and delicious bread with butter. The location was perfect, with nearby attractions and walk arounds. Overall, the attention to detail and excellent service made my stay truly memorable. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brussels. Thank you, Hotel Van Belle, for such an amazing experience - I hope to return soon! Best wishez

Everything was pretty good. I don't remember anything I didn't like.

The hotel has an underground garage with 24-hour private parking, which was perfect since we came by car. It’s close to the historic city center, and getting to the main highways was easy. We found this very helpful as we were making trips to other cities around Brussels. The place looks modern and stylish, it’s quiet at night, and the rooms seemed well soundproofed because nothing disturbed our sleep. I would also like to express my gratitude to the hotel staff for their help and willingness to assist. Definitely recommend this place to stay in Brussels!

Very comfortable beds, spacious room, and clean bathrooms. The staff was very friendly, and the interior garden is perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. What I loved most were the black out curtains, as they helped me sleep better at night, so it was great to have them in my room!

The only downside of this trip was the location of the hotel. If you are coming from the city centre, I recommend taking the tram rather than the metro, as the walk around the neighbourhood felt a little bit unsafe. Maybe that was just me being paranoid, but it is a good tip to know for future travels there!

Accommodation was clean and spacious. The hotel is modern and has lovely staff. Beds were so comfortable which is always hit or miss. Is 5 minutes away from the centre of the town on the bus. 15 minutes away from Grand Place if you walk. Room service remakes beds everyday!

The mirror in the bathroom was a bit damaged at the bottom. No kettle or coffee maker provided. Other reviews complained about the location, however this is clear racism. It is a more ethnic area, but everything is safe and secure!

We had a wonderful stay although some people were giving bad feedback about the neighbourhood, we didn't have any problems at all even when arriving at night time. On the contrary, everyone in the shops next to the hotel was super nice and helpful. There's a Marocain bakery just in front of the hotel that has these super delicious sandwiches and the fresh pastries are to die for, not to mention the very welcoming big smiles from the people there. The room was very comfortable and quiet with very big bed, we slept very well. Although a kettle and a mini fridge would have been nice in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In general, we liked very much the vibe in the hotel. Behind the reception there's the bar where we found ourselves, a lot of times, enjoying some drinks at very correct prices.

The room was comfortable and I had got good view on trees from quiet side of the building, not to the noisy street. Breakfast was very good -everything what is necessary for morning meal. Very tasty coffee. From the first sight the location seemed to be not very good, but after I've learnt that metro station is not very far from the Hotel.

Once more I have to emphasis that Van Belle is very nice, quiet and comfortable place to stay. Probably the carpet floors in the rooms are somehow not very hygienic (though vacuum cleaning is conducted every day). This is the only my 'contra' note - all others are 'pro'.
