Very sweet little B and B close to the city. We chose this place because they offered parking locally at a cheap price. The parking was really excellent and felt safe and close to the B and B. The host was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. She gave us advice about what to do in Ghent and it was clear that she loves her B and B and takes very good care if the guests and the place. The bedroom we chose shared a small courtyard....i can highly recommend. It was like a little green paradise in the city! The breakfast was delicious, with lots of different choices. The host was there making fresh fruit salad and eggs. The coffee was delicious. The dining area is small and intimate, so we ended up chatting with the other guests, which we liked. I would certainly stay there again. I love Ghent : )

It was incredibly hot when we stayed and the bedroom got pretty stuffy at night, maybe a fan or some air con could be a nice addition. The bed was absolutely fine but I have slept on more comfortable beds, maybe another thing to consider upgrading at some point.

It is a beautiful property that’s tastefully done up. The room was obviously spicy &span and the bathroom products was super luxurious. It felt like we were staying at a luxury property. The host told us some fascinating history about the property at breakfast the day. The breakfast that the host made for us was the highlight of our stay. We were an hour late for breakfast. inspite of that the host was waiting for us to serve us a scrumptious spread and the scrambled eggs he made for us is the best scrambled eggs I’ve had in my life so far and I eat scrambled eggs everyday. So, that’s saying something. The property is located right behind the tram station so it’s very easily accessible. The B&B is also located centrally to everything you’ll want to do in Ghent. it’s very convenient

Perhaps the little room in reception could have been a little tidier - the used laundry was piled up as soon as you walked in the main entrance

The room was clean and had the basic needs. The host is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, you can reach all important monuments withe a max of 15 minutes walk and tram stops at the door. Breakfast was nice but not special.

I reserved a room with garden view but got a room with patio instead, it's not bad but it wasn't clear for me that there was a switch (or maybe a misunderstanding somewhere).

We will definitely be back here what a lovely stay, beautiful building and they had thought of everything. Family could not have been more helpful with all there tips of what to see!

Nothing it was perfect!

The hosts are great. The atmosphere is excellent and charming. Breakfast outside is very enjoyable. It's a quiet place to stay not far from the best places in Ghent to visit.

Housekeeping didn't empty the wastebaskets, etc. It would be nice to have a bit more storage area to put away things rather than having to live out of your suitcase.

Polo and her husband are really wonderful hosts. We felt very welcome and they took care of just everything (e.g. we requested a children's bed for our 1,5 year old daughter and it came with a little toy). The breakfast eas also very delicious with great cheese and homemade marmelade - very yummie.

Our room had a wooden ceiling and it was quite loud when people upstairs moved in the room. But due to our little child we needed to be quiet very early (8pm). Later on it was very quiet, so no complains in general.

location was excellent, bit confusing with car park but after all everything was sorted:) Room decorated very nicely, was spotless clean, lovely view, nice and warm. Breakfast very delicious

Smell when you’re coming into the main hall, but rooms smell was very pleasant

The host really made us feel at home providing for amazing breakfast and nice recommendations. We booked two separate rooms. The ambiance and surroundings of those rooms are very serene.

Given the old wooden structure of the building we sometimes heard the room above only during the day. We are used to such noises so didn’t bother us too much.

Amazing service. Beautiful property. Very attentive and charming couple who runs it and who make their guests very comfortable. Location is great, a few min walk from the main sites. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well thought out for a pleasant stay.
