Breakfast was truly great (fresh fruits pineapple, grape, kiwi, etc.), fresh salad, eggs, bacon, fruit yogurt, fresh pastry, butter, milk, coffee, tea, juice, croissants, cakes, muesli, a few nice cheese options, some more meat options, etc. There are enough options for vegetarians and even vegans. The ladies serving the breakfast are especially nice. My room was spacious and quite clean, and the beds were a bit more soft than I am used to but still comfortable. Room cleaning happened each day, and the refilling of some sample cakes, coffee, and tea that one could prepare inside their room. You could also prepare yourself a coffee or tea in the hotel lobby for free at any time. There is a self-checkout if you need to leave early while reception isn't yet open. Just be sure to pay the staying tax earlier. The location is quite good, ~30min walking to the old city and very close to the train station. The bathroom is spacious enough and the bathtub can fit a large/tall person very well. Hot water starts pouring quite fast. Windows can be opened for fresh air to come into a room. WIFI is free and works OK. Overall I had a very nice stay in this hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The only thing that annoyed me a bit was the AC that I needed to use for heating as it produces a bit of hum and that can bother some people while sleeping. But that heating solution is something many other hotels use, so it's not that big of an issue.

I had a great stay at this place. I enjoyed my quiet and peaceful days and nights. My room was facing the courtyard so the environment kept nice and quiet. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The location is great near the railway station. I would definitely stay here again. This is good value for money!

Currently (in January 2025) the tram does not operate on the street in front of the hotel at all. The closest tram stop is located at the railway station within a short walk.

Very friendly and helpful staff - feels like a really well-run family hotel (it probably is). Very clean & comfortable throughout. Breakfast was delicious, with local, premium products (like the marmelade/jam). 24/7 accessibility. Parking onsite. I felt very lucky to have found this hotel online, since pictures, star ratings or reviews can't always convey this kind of quality.

The single room was small, but good enough for my short stay.

A very good hotel for the price, with everything you would expect for good solid comfort. The room was very clean and a decent size. Good to have a mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Also good to see ceramic mugs being used not disposable plastic (except in the bathroom). The bathroom was very well equipped, extras were a beauty mirror and nice toiletries. The WiFi worked well, the staff were helpful, and it's 2 minutes from the station (St Pieters). Easy walk into the shopping areas and tourist sights. Not so many places to eat dinner very near the hotel.

Disposable cup in the bathroom; a washable glass would be more eco-friendly. The carpet in the room seemed clean, but carpet never seems quite as clean as hard floors. Some noise from the rooms above. In the summer, it would be good to provide a plain sheet for sleeping, as the doona can be too hot.

The staff here are extremely nice and helpful. They introduced the city to me and some beautiful places to visit. The room is clean and comfortable. Although it is close to the street, it is pretty quiet. The breakfast is delicious. The location is very convenient. It is close to the train station. There is a tram station right under the building. There are also great restaurants and shops around the street.

The window has no screen. There will be some mosquitos if we open it to freshen the air. It would be better to provide some mosquito coil in the room. Other than that everything is great.

The hotel is a few steps from the main railway station. Exceptionally nice staff. My room was rather small but very cosy, so the size was not a problem. Super clean, including the bathroom. You have everything you need to spend a comfortable night there. Nice lobby at the reception and a small bar. It is not a fancy hotel yet I found it very welcoming and all right.

Watching TV requires a bit of an effort as it is located too close to bed (the bed being the only option to sit on if you want to watch TV).

Very friendly staff. Check-in and checkout went smoothly even although we arrived really early. Family run establishment who have taken care of the small details (bathroom toilet articles and products, comfy towels, good bed linen and extra pillows and blankets, free water and coffee and tea making product's) to make one's stay at this hotel feel like a five star experience. The hotel lobby is a comfortable lounge with guests toilets and a small bar ay well as facilities to leave your luggage for safekeeping.

There is a brisk walk to get into downtown Ghent but the walk is scenic with ample opportunities to sightsee and shop and there is the tram number 1 which stops right outside the hotel making this super convenient. Also the Thai restaurant across the road (Happy Thai) has delicious authentic Thai food for takeout or dine-in

The hotel is very close to Gent St Pieters train station which was very useful for our trip. The bathroom was lovely & modern. The hotel has a small fridge in the room & hairdryer. The room was comfortable and a good size.

The bedroom itself has slightly old fashioned decorations. Also if you are leaving the hotel before 7.00 in the morning or coming back after 23.00 you need to make sure you are familiar with the hotels out of hours policy. I needed to leave for a train before & struggled to get out of the hotel.

This hotel is very close & easy walk from the Sint-Pieters Station and the neighborhood laundromat. The tram is right in front of the hotel which makes it very easy to get to Old Town Ghent. The breakfast in the hotel is plentiful with good variety of food choices, but don't miss out on the local bakeries. The neighborhood is quiet and people are very friendly. The room is clean & spacious, has a wonderful shower, comfortable bedding, and has air conditioning - which is very nice after a day in the Old Town.

The only dislike was the carpet in the room was heavily stained which took away the initial impression of the room's cleanliness. We spent 5 nights and every evening when we came back to the room it had been completely cleaned and refreshed with towels, soaps, and coffee/teas.

Lovely staff, the hotel renovation is great, love the little coffee and tea machine and chill out area downstairs, and the rooms are comfy and clean, with minimal decor

There was no heat pump control working in the room but they were very nice to have heaters in the room which we used instead.
