Absolutely wonderful service. Hardly to imagine it better. We were asked about our perforations about breakfast and everything was done. We also get some interesting facts and recommendations about Ghent and Belgium, so we can plan our trips by this information. Also, the possibilities of our room were on the highest level. Everyday service, clen everywhere. These facts had big impact, that we really enjoy our Belgium vacations on the higher level.

I have nothing to write there as negative.

An exceptional stay, all thanks to our host, Kris. As soon as we arrived, Kris sat down with us and gave us a rundown of the must-sees in Ghent. We chose to walk during our time in Ghent, as the city center is only a pleasant 25 minute walk from the apartment, but Kris also offered us the option of borrowing bikes for free. The room was simple and clean, and had everything you may need for a comfortable stay, from coffee and tea to all kinds of toiletries. In addition to city maps, Kris also left a binder in our room full of his personal recommendation for places to eat and shop at. Breakfast was no less impressive, and we particularly appreciated the fact that the fruit on offer changed every day. We are also very grateful to Kris for being so accommodating with the time we wanted to have breakfast, which changed from day to day. We initially only planned on staying in Ghent for a day and visit other nearby cities during the rest of our stay, but the recommendations provided convinced us to stay in Ghent for two days, something we absolutely do not regret, as we loved the city and wish we had stayed longer!

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect!

Honestly, one of the best accommodation I have ever stayed :) The location in a calm area but yet very close to the downtown. Very close to the main train station, a public transport bus station nearby. Room very cosy, clean, well eqquipped with anything you might need. Kris always made sure evyrything was ok, we also had some nice converstations. I would definately recomment this place to stay when in Gent :)

There was absolutely nothing to co complain about :)

From the moment we arrived, the Host, Kris, made our experience truly special. Kris is a passionate individual who genuinely loves what he does, and his enthusiasm and kindness are contagious. Kris provided us with a package of maps and invaluable advice on the must-see attractions in Ghent. One of the standout features of this B&B is the option to borrow bicycles, which made getting around both fun and convenient. The room was impeccably equipped with everything we could possibly need. There was coffee, tea, and water readily available, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. Additionally, the presence of essential hygiene products like makeup remover wipes was a unique and much-appreciated touch. The attention to detail in providing these items truly set this B&B apart from others. Located in a tranquil area yet still within close proximity to the old town, it is perfect balance of peace and accessibility. A highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast prepared by Kris. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, with a wide selection that catered to all tastes.

We have no complaints at all.

Simply, everything: room, facilities, kind and super responsive and for all our needs available host; good position of the appartment, detailed instructions and reccomendations about everything, received from host. Modern equiped appartment, with some details more than expected, with so many details, such make up removing tissues, welcome sweets; breakfast at the request and needs of the guest... During the breakfast, festive Christmas music and lights, with many varietes and fresh fruit and juice.

What did we like about the property? Everything! The location was very convenient for us. Our host was fantastic. Upon arrival he sat us down for a drink and gave us lots of information about the city and some great tips about food and current events and we had a nice chat. The room itself had two comfortable beds, a small wash basin, a very decent shower, a fairly large wardrobe and plenty of additional storage as well, and a writing desk. The toilet for this particular room was one floor down, but not shared with anybody else, so that was fine too. Breakfast was downstairs in the main living area, and our host, knowing my daughter and I are vegetarians, provided a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, and freshly cut fruits. On our checkout day, free luggage storage was available all day, accessible with a door code. Thank you Kris, we hope to come back some day! Hartelijk dank, en tot de volgende keer!

Everything was great. We had a wonderful stay.

The accommodation was very nice and clean. The room "Sandra", on the 3rd floor, is lovingly furnished and equipped with all the necessary details. Only the toilet is located one floor below (on the 2nd floor), which the owner Kris pointed out, when he first contacted us. Kris is a hospitable, polite and courteous host who has lots of good tips and information about the city of Ghent. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The flat is located a little outside the city centre, there is a bus stop about 100 metres away, on the next street, from where regular buses leave for the city centre. It takes about 25 minutes to walk into the city centre. Ghent is a really great city and has a lot of offers (architectural, cultural, culinary and for leisure activities), we were very surprised about it and had a very nice weekend there.

- Attention to detail such as chocolate on the bed, free mineral water, complementary coffee and tea, beauty products, enough shelves.. Basically, think about all little things you would possibly desire in the hotel, and know that Chris has thought about that. - Comfortable bed, deep sleep, total quietness at night. - Kindness of the host and his great advice. - Great breakfast.

- We didn't have a perfect check in. And we had to wait some 2.5 hours after the check in time, to get in the room. It was the exception situation, but still it's always a bit sad when the exception happens exactly with you. - The concept of this B&B is interesting - it feels more not like a hotel but as being a guest at someone's home with hosts things all around in common places. It has its good and bad sides and it really depends on your preferences. - The stairs are steep, and bringing your big bag can be a challenge.

Breakfast excellent in variety, volume and quality. Kris was attentive, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The location was optimal for us, being within easy walking reach of the city centre, whilst we could still park our car fairly close by at a reasonable rate. Bikes were available to us at no extra charge, although, on this occasion, walking was our preferred option. Kris provided us with plenty of written local information and advice that might be of interest to us and backed this up verbally.

There was nothing about our stay we didn't like. We might have felt an element of information overload at one point. However it's difficult to know how the information could be relayed otherwise, for a short stay of two nights. And it was backed up with comprehensive written information in any case. Kris was perfectly available and happy to answer questions subsequently.

The room we stayed in is comfortable with quite impressive decor, easy on the eyes and clearly made with the guest in mind. The host is charming and provided a lot of suggestions and material for tourism, he is helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the self-service breakfasts on weekdays. I'm big on environmental protection and was really happy to stay at a place that conserves energy and water in all its systems and also encourages guests to do the same. The location was great, only walking distance from the station. Highly recommended for anyone going to Ghent for the first time. Honestly, it feels like home, just three times better.
