Maison Flagey is beautiful. It's a historic building with phenomenal architecture and beautiful furnishings. The man who runs it is incredibly kind and the location is perfect for the event I was attending as well as for getting around Brussels. I was able to join for the breakfast one of the mornings on my trip and it was outstanding - hands down the best croissant I've eaten in my life, fresh organic strawberries with delicious yogurt, muesli, great cheese, baguette , delicious coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice as well (there was also some kind meat but as I'm vegetarian I didn't try it). All was served in a beautiful dining room overlooking the lake. I could keep going - just stay here, such an excellent experience!

A charming Art Nouveau building located in a very peaceful area. Very close to public transport but separated from it where almost all the noise comes from the geese in the nearby lake. The room I got was huge with a large and very comfortable bed and a large bathroom which is piece of art in itself. Definitely on my list of places to visit again and highly recommended for people who prefer a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

This was our second stay at Maison Flagey — it is simply lovely! We always visit zart Nouveau Museums when in Brussels, and it is a privilege to stay in a building just as beautiful as the ones we visit. Vincent, the host, is also truly exceptional. Always ready to chat, he makes homemade baguette bread, freshly squeezed Orange juice, and freshly cut fruit for breakfast every morning. The area around Maison Flagey is beautiful and worth exploring, and it is easy to get to the city center.
The King Suite is huge, but we missed being able to have a relaxing hot shower since it only has an open bathtub.

It’s in a beautiful location and the house itself is one of a kind. The property owner is very friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in is very spacious and came with nice additions like bath salts and handmade soaps. Breakfast was also freshly made by the owner - the highlight for us were the croissants.
Unfortunately we stayed during a particularly hot week in Brussels so the rooms became quite hot, lacking any air conditioning or fans. Our only recourse was the leave the balcony doors wide open which invariably led to new insect tenants. While it was quite nice to have a large bath in the room, we were unable to use the standing shower because the area was blocked off to maintain the integrity of the wall murals. A final small issue was that it wasn’t clear until checkout that the breakfast is an additional 10€ per person (perhaps that was our fault for not checking).

It was my second visit here and it was as nice as the first time. We had the royal suite for which the bathtub is in the middle of the room so you def wanna go with a close friend or partner. It’s of course amazing to stay in such a place if you’re a bit of an architecture/interior design nerd like I am. It’s in a really handy location too as you’re 5min walk from Flagey (two bus lines straight to the city center but also some nice restaurants/bars there). The room we had also has a balcony which is always a great bonus.
There is nothing we didn’t like :)

As a big fan of art nouveau and art deco, this property was outstanding. I wouldn’t have dreamt of ever being able to stay over in such a house. Everything about the building itself to the interior design was super exciting. The manager is super nice too and you can tell he loves the property and knows everything about its history. There are only 5 rooms so you’re guaranteed a chill, quiet stay and a nice calm time at breakfast too (with homemade croissants!). Location wise, you’re in a super nice quiet street near Flagey Square, across from the ponds. So it’s not noisy but you’re also a 4-5min walk from some of the main bus and tram lines that get you to the center of Brussels in 15-20min tops.
If you really don’t sleep well on a hard mattress then you might have a hard time falling asleep but it wasn’t an issue for us. Also, in the royal suite, the bathtub is in the middle of the room, which wasn’t an issue for my friend and I as we are close, but maybe it’s a bit awkward if you aren’t so close with whoever you’re traveling with. (Your traveling companion can easily sit across the hall in the breakfast room with a view on the pond while you shower tho)

The unique furnishings were astounding- what a gorgeous property! Vincent has a gem here in Brussels, and his hospitality really makes you feel like you're staying in someone's home, not visiting a hotel. I asked for a few recommendations on where to go for meals, and Vincent gave me great ideas. I was able to enjoy a wander through the area of Flagey and found a great spot. Property was quiet and not too loud in the evening. Christmas decorations were up in the lobby and really made the home feel welcoming.
My only pointer would be related the bed/bath: the pillows are older feather down pillows, and the pillowcases are made of linen. They were a bit rough, and I was poked a few times by feathers coming out of the pillow. Also, I would have appreciated a second towel in the bathroom. Other than that, the room and facilities were absolutely perfect

The house is in very good condition and has great features such as hardwood floors, wooden doors, a very nice and tasteful decor. There is an elevator in the house and the overall flair is very cozy and inviting. The owner and operator of the house is very friendly and courteous and fits in very well with his house. He prepares fresh crossaints and fresh pressed (really fresh pressed) orange juice for breakfast. The city center can be reached by feet and is a nice walk that you enjoy after a good meal in one of the excellent retaurants in Brussels. Thank you very much Vincent and congratulations for this wonderful house. I highly recommend this guest house and hope to come back soon.

The host, Vincent, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and very keen to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The area is lovely, although it's along a main road it is also opposite a small lake which creates a nice setting. And the house itself is simply breath-taking - especially for an art nouveau fan!
The only very minor inconvenience was the fact that wi-fi didn't work in my room. It wasn't too much of an issue as I only needed to take a few steps outside my room to get full wi-fi.

what can anyone expect from a great hotel? perfect location? spacious rooms? perfect maintenance? fluffy clean towels? beautiful modern, yet cozzy, room design? great bed? all these are checked, at the highest level possible, topped with the friendliest, attentive, most professional staff possible, and a beautiful cafe'/restaurant at the lobby. we were personally greeted and received on check-in by Efi, probably the most charming and professional front desk person we came across. I stayed at hundreds of hotels across the globe, and this is probably my most favorite one. simply perfect.
