Fantastic house and certainly an interesting experience! Vincent is a happy chap with lots of interesting stories. The location is pretty on a beautiful lake and there are a couple of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good, with crispy bread and real orange juice, although it comes as an extra 20€ per day for 2 people

The comfort for the modern traveler is somehow limited. The Wi-Fi is not good, even for simple browsing we had to use the phone data (something to keep in mind if you need to work). Check-in at 5 pm was particularly inconvenient for our needs. Quite a few things needed fixing or replacing in the room. Somehow we expected a more pampering stay

The location was excellent, not in the city centre but in a lively suburb beside a nice lake/pond on a lovely street in a listed building art-deco house. No noise, no cars, and nearby shops, supermarkets and bars/restaurants. Easy transport into the centre. Breakfast was ok, croissant, bread, cheese, ham yogurt, coffee, fruit juice etc 20E. The room was lovely with a view and a French window open to the lake. Our host was very helpful and genial, with excellent English.

The furniture in the room was minimal for such a large space, would prefer a large armoire, an occasional chair, a desk/dressing table and a mirror that wasn't above the fireplace and hence not very useful. Bathroom sink was tiny, it didn't drain well, the mirror got in the way of the sink and there was practically no cold water pressure. It was difficult to get in and out of the shower with the door arrangement. Amazing Art-Deco tiling though.

A fabulous Art Nouveau house; a charming host; a world class pianist playing incredible music in the house; wonderful views of the lake across the road and Flagey nearby with a beautiful cacophony of birdsong from the warring parakeets and crows (with the windows open! - no noise at all when closed) - this is,a very special place to stay. Perfect facilities in our room, really comfortable. Good breakfast (definately worth having!) Great local area full of interest & nightlife nearby (yet the house enclosed in its own quiet immediate neighbourhood) and easy public transport everywhere within 5 min walk. All in all - the perfect place to stay.

Maison Flagey is beautiful. It's a historic building with phenomenal architecture and beautiful furnishings. The man who runs it is incredibly kind and the location is perfect for the event I was attending as well as for getting around Brussels. I was able to join for the breakfast one of the mornings on my trip and it was outstanding - hands down the best croissant I've eaten in my life, fresh organic strawberries with delicious yogurt, muesli, great cheese, baguette , delicious coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice as well (there was also some kind meat but as I'm vegetarian I didn't try it). All was served in a beautiful dining room overlooking the lake. I could keep going - just stay here, such an excellent experience!

The Maison flagey is a beautiful building in a neighbourhood of beautiful buildings it stands out. From the front steps you look out onto a lovely pond. On the night we arrived our flight had been delayed 3 hours and we were running late, my phone wouldn't work however the owner was very accommodating. He really made the stay great with a lovely smile and a hello when he sees you, recommending places to eat or drink and nothing seemed like it would be too much hassle. I've been to guesthouses before and when I arrive I'm usually given a large list of rules however this was not like that. He asked that the key be left at the property when we left (the building is secure), gave me the WiFi password and that was that. The rooms itself was large, a nice airy balcony and a comfy bed. The shower was lovely and warm and the facilities were more than fantastic. The area around the guesthouse is worth exploring, close to a large park, a walk around the pond is romantic and down towards the square there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

The Maison Flagey is a very unique property which has a very specific appeal to those who want to stay in a classic art nouveau historic house. I enjoyed the wonderful high ceilings, large size room (454 sq ft) and wonderful view of Flagey park. The host, Vincent, was extremely friendly and allowed me to store my bags at the property before my 5pm check in. I enjoyed the classic house but it may not be appealing to those who want a standard hotel. The charm of this unique home made my first visit to Brussels very memorable! Breakfast was also delicious.

A stunning property in a vibrant location. Close to transport links to get around the city. The house itself is in a quiet location, 5 mins walk to local bars and cafes. The house has been decorated beautifully. The owner is proud of his property, and rightly so. It's quirky and is a change from the run of the mill hotels. Breakfast is freshly made and served in a charming breakfast room. The owner will help you in any way he can.

A charming Art Nouveau building located in a very peaceful area. Very close to public transport but separated from it where almost all the noise comes from the geese in the nearby lake. The room I got was huge with a large and very comfortable bed and a large bathroom which is piece of art in itself. Definitely on my list of places to visit again and highly recommended for people who prefer a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

This was our second stay at Maison Flagey — it is simply lovely! We always visit zart Nouveau Museums when in Brussels, and it is a privilege to stay in a building just as beautiful as the ones we visit. Vincent, the host, is also truly exceptional. Always ready to chat, he makes homemade baguette bread, freshly squeezed Orange juice, and freshly cut fruit for breakfast every morning. The area around Maison Flagey is beautiful and worth exploring, and it is easy to get to the city center.

The King Suite is huge, but we missed being able to have a relaxing hot shower since it only has an open bathtub.

Loved staying at this very unique place. Vincent has truly been able to create a one of a kind hotel situated in an art deco home with each room being very different from one another and full of art pieces. Breakfast was also amazing, for a small fee you get to have a meal in a beautiful room with a view on the lake. Would highly recommend!
