The location was great - it was right downtown and we could walk to most restaurants. The room was very nice and comfortable with a great kitchen, living room set up with a separate bedroom. We sat on the porch many days. All the employees were wonderful and helpful. Loved D'Family for breakfast - get the stuffed fry-jack. We also enjoyed the Truck Stop, Rum Dog and Palapa, as well as Blue Bayou out at Secret Beach. A snorkling excursion is a must. Highly recommend a golf cart.

We arrived soon after the start of a major spell of sargassum on the east-facing beaches. The East-shore beaches weren't swimmable and the smell in some places was quite bad. We got around this by driving the golf cart out to Secret Beach, which was fantastic.

Room #3 was beyond amazing. Ground level with its own balcony and 2 different entrances. The location of Caye Casa was great! Walking distance to most restaurants, nightlife and shopping. The only time we got a golf cart was to drive to Secret Beach, and the staff helped us with calling for cart availability. Staff also helped arrange our full day snorkel adventure. The room had 2 AC units to keep cool inside. There is plenty of space to move around for my husband and I. There is a full kitchen and full-size refrigerator. Drinking water/ice cubes were provided, so bring or buy a water bottle to keep filling. 2 Beach towels provided to use. Netflix is available for lazy nights staying in on a big, comfy sofa.

The bed was firm if that's what you like. The shower water gets all over the place so be careful.

From the moment we booked our stay at Caye Casa, the owner, Jake, was in touch to ensure that all our questions were answered. Justin, who worked at the reception, was incredibly helpful. He check in on us where we were there, giving us fresh beach towels, which were very much appreciated. Justin also helped us to rent a golf cart and put us in touch with an excellent tour company. We love the view from our ground floor apartment. It overlooked the sea and we were within walking distance to so many restaurants! When we got to know the area, we realized that we could easily walk to San Pedro town center too. All the staff at Caye Casa were exceptional - friendly, helpful, and informative about the area. We loved our apartment! We really appreciated the built-in filtered water since we read that we shouldn't drink tap water in Belize. Jake also helped us to organize a taxi when we arrived and when we left. In fact, when the taxi didn't turn up on time when we departed, he took us to the water taxi so we wouldn't miss it. If we visit San Pedro again, we wouldn't need to look for accommodations. We would definitely return to Caye Casa!

Caye Casa is in a great location and within walking distance to most of the area around San Pedro. Very close to popular restaurants and beach bars. The room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. The grounds were very well kept. Staff were exceptional, very warm and welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond.

The location is a double edge sword. For those who want to be close to the beach bars, this is probably as good as it gets. Unfortunately, there were times that the music was a little too loud. Not unbearable but definitely noticeable.

First of all I have to say that stuff at the hotel is amazing. Both Jake and Justin are very personable and accommodating. Location is superb especially for someone who likes to be close to everything. At the same time it is surprisingly quiet. Bed was very comfortable. You can probably get by without renting a golf cart for there are more than enough places to eat and drink within walking distance. As I have already mentioned despite of proximity of beach bars with loud music it is very quiet inside.

My only complaint is that description of specific rooms could be more detailed. The basic rooms are on a small side and could use a microwave as well as updated coffee maker.

Everything about our (self and husband) week at Caye Casa was fabulous. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable, the location is easily walkable to dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops in the central San Pedro area, and the staff are exceptional. Great full-size kitchen, cable TV, balcony, and WiFi. I'd give more than 10 stars for Martha, who proactively took care of us all week, giving us large umbrellas on an especially stormy day, supplying us with sunscreen and bug spray, giving recommendations, and just generally being attentive and super nice. The owner, Jake, was fantastic as well, even getting new board games for us on the super rainy day. And the office manager, Justin, couldn't have been sweeter! Thanks to everyone at Caye Casa for ensuring we had a great stay.

Loved this place. Large comfortable room with a big patio looking out at the water. Nice chairs inside and on the patio, A/C worked well, bed was comfortable, and kitchen was extremely well-stocked if you preferred to cook. The entire staff is extremely helpful and set up tours for us - If anything I wish we'd relied on them more.

Loved this place! The owner and staff were so nice and helpful. Our room was great; very comfortable bed and pillows, good shower and nice amenities. The location was perfect, right in front of the ocean and next to lots of places to eat and sign up for water activities. We rented a golf cart at the water taxi dock when we came to the island (good to have one so you can explore the island and go to Secret Beach) and were able to park it in the Caye Casa yard. All in all, a great place to be!

The staff were especially pleasant and helpful both before and after our arrival. The location is good especially if you want to be away from the centre of town yet still have excellent access to restaurants etc. The beachfront is lovely and well maintained.

Our room was perfectly adequate but it was clear that if you spent more there were much better rooms to be had. This is on us not Caye Casa. In hindsight we ought to have selected a better room.

I loved this place.. We stayed in 3 different places during our trip to San Pedro because we like to try out different places and this was my favorite. Location was great, room was a perfect size plus bright and cheerful, staff was super friendly and attentive, and I would recommend highly!

I cannot comment anything negative about the place itself. My only comment would be that I wished the seaweed wasn't on the beaches but no one can control mother nature!
