Awesome boutique hotel - we did a lot of research before we chose Bopha Wat Bo and were extremely happy with our choice. Its well located as you can walk to town but it’s in a suburb amongst the locals. Its a really peaceful hotel, pool and bungalows are great, food an excellent standard. The staff are outstanding and help with anything - nothing is too much trouble. One of the most welcoming places we have ever stayed. And all at outstanding value.

It is a beautiful small place, 10 minutes walk from the city center. The best rooms (in our opinion) were the ones on the 1st floor. Surprisingly, we had no mosquitos at all, even though at some rooms the bathroom windows have just wooden shutters, nor glass or nets. The rooms and all the territory were clean and well maintained. Any problems that occured during our stay (please, do remember that you are in Cambodia), were resolved immediately. The beds were super comfy, the shower had great pressure, the pool is beautiful, the restaurant works all day long. The breakfast was fair (we always eat a lot in the morning) and coffee was very good. But what made our stay really special were Bopha Wat Bo people! Very warm, friendly and welcoming. Thomas, who speaks English very fluently, went above and beyond so that we had a nice and comfortable stay. We thank all the team of the hotel, we had great time!

The breakfast menu has 5 or 6 options, half of them Western, and half Asian. We didn't take any Asian, but continental and american breakfast were more or less the same thing. Some variety could be nice. In other places usually it is possible to choose between sandwich, or salad, or muesli with youghurt, or pancakes, etc + fruits, so that people who stay several days can vary the breakfast. Nevertheless, the staff was excellent and took into account all our request (our parents do not eat meat or egg), and even prepared the fresh juices for us (which were not on the menu). The quantity and quality of breakfast were great. Some fresh juices or smoothies in the menu could be nice also (to have them by the pool during the day).

Past 20 years travelling I have never given 10 points to any hotel. I gave it now! This is an EXEPTIONALLY good hotel. Starting from the friendly and supportive staff, who learn your name and call you with your name. Clean rooms and fantastic outside pool. Small cozy hotel. Bathroom bit unconventional, with much concrete design and huge bath tub :D. Food and drinks provided were very very good. Bit more costly than you can find in city, but definitely much better! Walking distance to the city center. Street dark at night, but we walked there and back every evening with phone flashlights. Tuk-tuk was 2 dollars, for those lazy tourists. Hotel can organize you pickup form airport and all rest trips and events you will dream of. fantastic! Big big thanks for Jessie and her team.

Only thing I did not like was that I did not plan to stay here longer. :( I will come back next year!

The Staff were wondeful . So helpful and kind ..

The building work right next to the pool Started at 7am and went on all day so hard to lay out and the pool was freezing due to the big building been built blocking out the sun .. they should of disclosed this when we were booking we Spent a fortune on this holiday. We would have stayed somewhere else or the rooms should have been discounted . Also I booked 2 pool access rooms and when we arrived we were only allocated 1 we were there for our anniversary. So hence the reason I can not say nice things .. The reception staff we so kind and helpful.

The staff tried really hard. I think it's really an off-season time. I always went to town to eat they're trying to do a resort spa thing here. it's a big pool and it's pretty quiet. I never heard the other people in the complex. I think it kind of caters towards like young couples who want like some real alone time and perhaps families. The rooms are really large. The bathrooms are huge. if I had an overall rating for the entire experience here I would probably put it at a 7. I only tried eating breakfast here and was not impressed by the quality and definitely not by the price. I think it's a struggle to do these kind of places they're a little further out like this is. it's not really that far it was always a dollar ride by one of the rideshare companies so it was 10 minutes and like I said at night it's very quiet which is a good thing you don't have bands and people going nuts all the time so it's a very quiet neighborhood. your choice. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you're looking for a more quiet place

good location, walking distance to the night market/ pub streets . a few good restaraunts /bars and supermarkets on the way around. have a small but nice garden where we enjoy the breakfast. people enjoy the time of swimming . breakfast is nice although not so many kinds of food. the welcome drink is extreamly delicious when we arrived at the hot afternoon. the room is super big and clean. the stuffs are very helpful and kind. one of the stuff can communicate with chinese.

the faucet of the sink is too close to the edge, and water easily flows onto the countertop and floor when washing hands. Only shower head and bathtub, hand shower is better.

This place is a haven of tranquility. The staff is exceptional, incredibly friendly, and always ready to help. They effortlessly arranged tours for me and even went above and beyond by booking a massage. The rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable. The pool is stunning, and our room offered a breathtaking view of the pool with a cozy sitting area at the front, making it convenient to enjoy the water. The food is delectable and reasonably priced. Every aspect of this hotel is wonderful, and I highly recommend it.

Construction nearby but staff put their effort to make sure our stay was good!

A beautiful setting around a very pretty pool that was a relief after a hot day’s sightseeing. Extremely spacious rooms and bathrooms, ours had a balcony overlooking palm trees and the pool. Great breakfast. I have to single out the staff who were so friendly and helpful at all times. Whenever we had questions they would help. Thank you Jessie and Khan and everyone else. They organised a wonderful tuk tuk driver and guide to take us to Angkor.

Not really a criticism just something to be aware of: We chose a hotel away from the busy centre. Because it was so hot we couldn’t walk into town but a tuk tuk is always available and very cheap and a great way to see the town. It also supports the locals.

Private and cosy place. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Spacious and clean rooms. They will store your bags before and after checkin for free.

Toilet part in the bathroom had mold in corners. Pool is a bit small. Breakfast is only worth it when it's buffet not from the menu. Heart shaped bath is not practical, hot water solution is enough only for approximately 1/5 to full.

Hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Swimming pool was excellent as were the surroundings. Room was lovely too.

Main drawback was that there is currently building works taking place next door so its not very relaxing around the pool and we were woken up early on the day we didn't have an excursion planned, although there is nothing the hotel can do about this but something to bear in mind if relaxing by the pool is what you want to do.
