This place is wonderful. Very charming boutique hotel with equally charming staff. The hotel room we had on the first floor was huge! The location is awesome and a few kilometers away from the temples. Btw, we hired a tuk tuk driver to take us to and from the temples for about $20/day. Also, we bought a 3-day temple pass for $62. Pretty good deal considering a 1-day pass costs $37. In between temple hopping, we came back to relax in the very nice pool. About a 5 minute walk to Pub Street. Also, there are lots of local eats, markets, bars, etc that are 1-2 min walks away from the hotel.

Honestly, the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Woke up with a stiff neck and back each morning. Also, I do not think the breakfast is great. Instant coffee, eggs, bread, and fruit is a lot less appealing than the local food you can get anywhere around for the same or cheaper price.

The hotel lies in a close proximity of Angkor Wat temples so if you plan on visiting the area, this is the best place for you to stay at. The staff was super helpful at all times. A pick-up from the airport as well as taking us back to the airport when we left was free of charge, the tuk tuk driver was at our convenience pretty much 24/7. The price for driving us around the temples in Angkor was 18 USD (fixed) and the driver took great care of us. There was a bottle of water for us in the room and in the tuk tuk anytime we needed/wanted. The hotel itself is not far from the main street where you find plenty of pubs, bars, souvenir shops, massage parlours etc. The prices are more than reasonable although to haggle a little will not do you any harm and you can reduce the price of the item/service you want to get. There is a 7/11 right across the street where you can get basic foods, wine, beer, etc. The hotel restaurant offers lunches and dinners co we gave it a try and we were not disappointed at all. The food was excellent. Breakfast is served there as well and it is quite rich so everyone would find what they want. There is also a pool accessible directly from the lobby and a free WiFi which worked great everywhere in the hotel. No problems with the signal whatsoever The room was equipped with a small refrigerator and an A/C which worked without any problems. And the price was more than great. If I ever get to the area any time in the furture, I will definitely stay in this hotel.

Excellently location, walking distance to central area, but still very quiet, Staff very friendly and helpful organising activities eg cooking class, tuk tuk driver. Room large and comfortable beds, clean swimming pool. No lift but staff very helpful carrying our bags. Airport pick up/drop off very appreciated & included.

Was not cheapest option for services eg massage most expensive we had in our 4 week travel

Gorgeous hotel, very friendly staff who even gave us a choice when we arrived of which room we wanted. Hotel has laundry service and massage. Great breakfast and beautiful pool with bar. Lovely to have the complimentary airport tranfers via tuk-tuk, who also took us to locations in Siem Reap for a small fee. Overall a real treat and 10/10 experience!

Nothing, we had a perfect stay!

The location of Sakaban Hotel is great only 10 minites walk to the French quarter, Pub street, and the night market. There are also plenty of Cambodian restaurants along the street, a 7-11 store 2 minutes walk, tuktuks at the door, and places to rent bikes and motorbikes and do your laundry. The hotel is very nice and well maintained in general. Every day, you see housekeepers cleaning the rooms and common areas and ensuring the guests have everything they need in their rooms. The staff at the reception is very nice too, always with a smile and ready to help. The facilities of the hotel are very good: front desk with 24h assistant, sofas to relax and a small pool to cool down and chill out. I had a lovely room with a balcony facing the pool, so the views were pretty nice. The room itself was quite big, with a queen bed, a big bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a desk and chair. There was also a fridge and a kettle, and the hotel provided fresh water, tea, and coffee. I didn't have any meals besides the buffet breakfast, so I can not comment on that. After the checkout, the staff allowed me to leave my bags there for a couple of hours until I was ready to head to the airport. That was very helpful and I did appreciate it. Overall, it was a pleasure to spend 10 days there and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The only thing I would improve it would be breakfast. In general, for a 4-star hotel, I think there is a lack of choices. There is an omelette station, which is nice, but mainly the food consists of pastries and sandwich bread. Some days, I had to ask for the fruit salad to be refilled as there was none, and it was the only thing I could eat besides the omelette. Same with the coffee and tea. Some days there were hot food options, others no. I would probably add more protein and vegetable options.

We stayed for 4 nights and breakfast buffe was a little different every morning Wich we loved. Service was excellent and forthcoming. We reserved the place for 5 nights in booking.com but durring our stay we changed our vacation plan and they were ready to change the stay for four nights. On our last day we leaved our bags to the hotel for the day and at the end of the day they even offered us to have a shover before going on with our trip. We asked for the room change as well that they managed for us.

The first room that they offered was facing the street even do we reserved for pool view (free upgrade to family sweet) but it was to noisy and we asked for a more quiet room Wich they managed to offer us.

This lovely, little hotel was in a great location, on a street with lots of restaurants and bars, and 7-Eleven just across the street. Our room was quite spacious with an extra sitting area, and very quiet since it was at the back of the hotel. The pool was quite nice for cooling off in at the end of the day of excursions in Angkor Wat. The hotel arranged a tuk-tuk driver to take us around the various sites in Angkor Wat, which is necessary as the temples are quite far apart. The breakfast was quite plentiful with an omelette station, various pastries, fruits, and other items. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always with big smiles!

Great location. Free room upgrade due to bed situation. Staff very kind and accomdating. Great English. Outdoor shower. Nice having the bathroom and WC separate. Huge room. Nice verandah area. Good beds. Nice pool area with bar. Wish we had stayed longer! Would stay here again! Great value for money.

Buffet breakfast wasn't overly appealing. Unfortunately other guests were very inconsiderate, extremely loud at 0230am. You'd thought they were a bunch of children jumping around like elephants and yelling! (Obviously not the motels fault). Thank you to the other guests who told them to shut up!!

The staff was really great in this hotel, they take care of you in a professional way and give plenty of recommendations to enjoy your trip. There is a 24 hours front desk. The room is big a very clean, the bed huge and very comfortable. Is has all what you need. I felt safe and comfortable in this hotel. The location is great as you can get anything that you need by walking distance, and it is near main points of interests of the city. Fairly quiet place, but sometimes the bar nearby would play loud music at night, so bring earplugs in case.

The pool colour was a bit trouble, which I think is due to the fact that they use less chemical (which is probably safer) but as I am used to crystal clear water pool, I didn't feel like using it. If it has been clear I would have used it. Breakfast buffet is lacking vegan options. The water coming out of my shower had an unpleasant smell. I am very sensitive to smells so I could notice, maybe you won't. The sink in the bathroom is lower than usual standards, if you are very tall it can be a bit inconvenient. But not a big deal!
