The room was spacious with a balcony and nice bathroom and big windows that give a lot of natural light. Great location, 15 minutes away from the airport by tuktuk while being at walking distance from the busy PUB STREET. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. Very cute decoration and great staff. The restaurant in the hotel (LA TABLE DU SUD) has divine food that has very reasonable prices.

The wifi was not working well in the room.

Very nice, big, comfy and clean room. Twin room with two queen size beds. Tastefully decorated. Free water was restocked every day. For our sunrise Angkor Wat Tour the hotel prepared take away breakfast boxes for us. Great location in a quiet street, close to Pub Street and walkable to almost everything of interest. The leafy pool area is really nice, especially considering you are in the middle of a big city.

The breakfast options could be more varied, more fruit and veggies, better bread rolls. Loads of egg choices, but we were missing maybe yoghurt or cereals as alternatives. No cow milk alternatives for vegans available. Safe didn't work in our room, was not fixed during the weekend which was understandable, but even afterwards not until we left. Not a big issue, but nice for peace of mind, if you can lock your valuables.

It was lovely stay, room was great and specious, bed super comfortable, and whole property is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was really nice and kind, and you can use the pool whole night which is amazing as it was so hot during the stay. Of course you need to be quiet and respect other people if you use the pool after 10pm. The bar is closed after 10pm, but you are free to bring your drink if you like. The hotel is very well located, many bars and restaurants near by, but still quiet and relaxing.

The AC in the room could be much better, and the food was not as good as I would expect, it was very average, but that didn’t spoil overall impressions.

La Bastide de Caro is such a wonderful boutique hotel. Set in the most perfect location close to the markets and Pub Street but set back a little for some quite. The room are clean and large. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The food and drinks at the restaurant are delicious. Steven and his staff are incredibly helpful, personable and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and would 100% recommend you stay. Such a great find and I hope to return one day.

Excellent hotel, not too many rooms which I prefer. The staff were great; when I checked in I mentioned I'd be leaving very early the next morning for the sunrise temple tour, so they arranged to drop some breakfast at my room that night. The room was huge and very nicely styled plus the pool and dining area was beautiful. The location was great, very central but also very quiet.

The first night there were quite a few mosquitos in the room, I hadn't had this issue at any of the other hotels I stayed in during my trip. However, having the ceiling fan on seemed to keep them away from the bed area.

The hotel is very reasonably priced with a great location. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside you will find a wonderful little oasis. A mixture of modern large rooms, and rustic, quiet, and very relaxing pool area and a wonderful little restaurant.  The restaurant La Table Du Sud is a real gem. Very unexpected... The food is amazing. The chef Sokna delivers a beautifully presented plates of Cambodian/French cuisine of amazing tastes. The staff and a manager are very welcoming and friendly.

The staff were very helpful and attentive to all our needs. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel is centrally located, with many restaurants and attractions nearby.

The pool and pool area are not large enough to comfortably accommodate all hotel guests. The breakfast menu lacks variety, particularly for longer stays, with limited options, no espresso or herbal tea available, for example.

Beautiful hotel, stunning pool, great area and fantastic staff. Breakfast was wonderful, given little cakes, warm rolls, fresh fruit and juice, tea, coffee, healthy jams and and choice of pancakes, eggs, bacon etc. Room was big, bright, and modern with great bath tub and a separate shower. We had ground floor with patio. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Pool was modern, clean, clear and felt like a spa... Lovely lush plants and flowers. Very much recommend this little hidden gem off the main road.

We were moved to a sister property banana resort due to pool renovations at this property. It was very thoughtful of the owner to let us know and give us the option to move. Banana resort had beautiful spacious villas, it was well maintained and staff were lovely. Caroline helps with booking drivers and day trips etc. A quick tuk tuk will get you into pub street.

Very nice and clean rooms, ours had a nice private terrace area and a bathtub in the living room which are nice touches; It's central enough to walk downtown (~5 to 10 min); The staff were very helpful and nice to us; Breakfast was pretty good every day; The pool area was very nice too.

Spa menu in the room didn't have some of the services running at the time, if it's not available please mark it as such or remove it from the books :) The pool area was always overcrowded and lacked chairs/sunbeds for everyone (and it can be quite noisy and disturbing if you catch a family with small children)
