The setting is fantastic. Wonderful friendly staff. Pet friendly and family friendly. Beautiful outdoor heated pool in winter is heavenly.

You never know what kind of room/cabin that you are going to get. House keeping staff seemed to do the bare minimum. Room service menu is fairly limited

Rooms have been renovated. Excellent job with the bathrooms, good taste, beautiful, practical and all we needed was there. Lodge beautifully decorated, staff was excellent. They could not find my reservation at first, but all was solved. Spa was good, grounds are beautiful. They have a planetarium but does not open on Sundays, so we could not visit it (only day it was clear).

Rooms have been renovated. Room itself lacked charm, coziness, etc. Engineer beige all around. No comfy chairs, no decoration. Very institutional looking, not a room you want to stay anytime in. Mattress old and out of shape. No coat hangers. No rug at entrance, snow made a mess of things. Also getting the room to be serviced was a challenge. Had to ask on second day. It appears they were short staffed. Pool as always not hot enough, everyone in the hot tub instead!

property itself was excellent. the facilities were great and we loved our lake view room

staff wasn’t great. the phone in our room did not work and we asked for it to be repaired at least 3-4 times, but no one came to look at it. I had to call room service using my cellphone (international roaming). also, we asked for room service and immediately within 5 mins called to cancel the order, but they charged me delivery fees. I had to go to the front desk to get that taken care of. it’s these small things that make the experience not so great especially when you pay soooo much for the room.

The most beautiful hotel I have been to - serene location and grounds. We booked a premier partial lake view room and it was amazing. If you are debating whether to spend extra money on this hotel or a nice room, don't hesitate - you won't regret it. Staff was amazing and helpful. Fitness room was solid and outdoor pool heated to 90 degree. Valet was always quick and included in the room fee. The walk around the lake is gorgeous. Hopefully will get a chance to go back.

Only thing would be to invest in some electric/battery powered garden maintenance tools as they are quieter instead of the gas powered ones the groundskeeper currently uses (lawnmower, weed wacker, blower). The grounds are kept beautifully, but the noise takes a bit away from the ambiance when they are doing maintenance.

Resort is beautiful, truly a wild life sanctuary. Rustic looking log cabins but modern interiors makes it a very comfortable stay. Only negative the Pod style coffee maker was a challenge. Only managed 3 cups of coffee made after like 10 attempts. They should ditch this and provide something simpler to use. We had someone came to demonstrate using this coffee maker at 2am n she said many guests have trouble with it

Resort Experience Fee, Room Tourism Levy, 2% Destination Marketing Fee. No wonder I was receiving repeated emails from Fairmont asking me to make dining n golf reservations. GOT these same emails every few days including the day after I checked in saying " We will soon welcome you to our resort...." So this is what I get for paying a 2% Marketing Fee. This was not disclosed until I got my bill at check out. BUFFET breakfast was below par when compared to other Fairmont experiences we had

Everything was just phenomenal - truly the absolute best hotel/accommodation experience I've ever had! Such a warm and helpful, personalized welcome, incredible facilities, so luxurious and yet with such a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. All the staff were so wonderful, were all excellent at their jobs but so down-to-earth too. And simply the most amazing jaw-dropping-to-me room/cabin (with free upgrade - thank you so so much), and gorgeous expansive grounds and views with paths galore. Oh, and thanks to excellent room service, I enjoyed an amazing omelette breakfast including the freshest mix of berries I've ever had in the middle of winter, and their margerita pizza was truly exceptional. Could not have asked for, or imagined, more. I've already booked a return visit!

Nothing. It was all beyond great!! I've never bothered to write a review for a hotel before. Usually there's good and bad about any place. But here, it was all just so incredibly special, I had to reach out and share my experience.

Bathroom was tiny but well appointed Nice location, good for walks and wildlife spotting

Hotel needs to invest in anti door slam devices, as when a door slammed in another room our whole room shook Housekeeping a bit hit and miss, didn’t turn up until 4pm on our 2nd day (too late) and then turned up 1 hour 45 minutes before we were required to checkout Orso restaurant ok, but overpriced and you get better in Jasper. Assumes air of fine dining but our wine flight arrived late on every course with no explanation as to why the wines had been selected a bit amateurish

The grounds were huge with elk and geese wandering around. The reception and bar area were very rustic. Downstairs there are shops and an Italian restaurant used for breakfast. The rooms are in lodges around the park. Ours was an upstairs room overlooking the lake which was beautiful. The room itself was huge, a big four poster bed, lounge area and large bathroom. However it did feel very outdated and in need of an overhaul, it was rather tired.

It was very expensive and you would expect it to be much more high end for the price.

The room was nice and clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. Very nice view of the mountains. Not too far from the town of Jasper which was a nice peaceful place to visit. I only ate at the Great Hall Gastropub. The food was excellent and the wait staff were very friendly and great to deal with.

Although the shower was big, the bathroom, overall, for my room(273), was very small so felt cramped.

Excellent location sat around the lake, high quality food with a selection of different types of restaurant , pool and hot tub were very pleasant to relax around for a restful day in the middle of exploring

A long wait on the Sunday night when we arrive for a table at the restaurant, there were lots of physical tables but they were throttling the guests so the kitchen could manage, that suggests under investment in kitchen staff, otherwise why have so many tables if you can’t serve them.
