the Suites were great for family with kid(s). the beds are in a bedroom, and then there is a full kitchen, sofa bed, and dining table that seats 6. we were able to put kiddo to bed and then enjoy a glass of wine while playing cards in the evenings. the pool is a good size and was very warm. there is a hot tub next to the pool that is mediocre BUT they have a fantastic outdoor hot tub open year round. the hotel is a little dated, but ALL hotels in Jasper are, so we were happy. this would have been a 10/10 IF they had a restaurant for breakfasts on site. that said, the hotel next door has a breakfast restaurant (closes at 11am so go early!) or there are a few other breakfast joints in town.

no restaurant on site - but the full kitchen in the suites does allow for you to make your own, if you like.

We were a family of 5 with a teenager so this room with kitchen was perfect for us. Lots of space for everyone, beds , even pull out couch were very comfortable. Pool, Indoor and Outdoor hot tubs were wonderful, exactly what we were looking for. Lobby felt very cozy , like a mountain lodge should feel. Lodge is tucked into mountains, very picturesque, Walking distance to everything. I definitely plan on staying at Lobstick Lodge on my next trip to Jasper.

The room was alittle warm but with 5 people that is understandable. We went in March so the weather was cool , so we just opened the windows and room was perfect

Got a wonderful surprise upgrade when we arrived...a room with a kitchenette. The kitchenette was much needed as the only food on site was starbucks. Loved the pool and hot tub after a long day. The room was a tad warm but the window opened and the room was supplied with 2 fans.

Disappointed there was no dining room on site, but understand as it was off season. No way to control the room temperature otyher than open a window to road/train noise.

I loved the room size, and for the first time on our trip our (grown) kids had their own bed. Believe me, it's not easy finding accommodation for a family of four adults! I was super pleased about that! Also, cooking in our own kitchen was an excellent way to save a few $$ on our holiday.

I would have gave it a higher rating but at the time of our stay, the air conditioning wasn't working, and the temps were pretty high so it was a bit uncomfortable. But they thoughtfully placed a few fans in our room so that helped a lot!

The bed was so comfy! Very quiet, we didn’t hear anything from the hallway The staff was very helpful finding what we were looking for in town!!

The old thermostat of the room was very slow to react to raise or lower the temperature so we had to open both windows in the middle of the night to cool the room down after struggling to raise the temperature

Huge room, two king beds, loads of space for us. Like most people have said no AC but they do warn you that there is no AC, so it thankfully wasn't too warm for us & we just opened the window and let some cool mountain air in. Nice walk into town, not too far, it was lovely to be able to leave the car in the parking lot & walk in. Plenty of places to eat and a good bit of variety. Were only staying two nights so not enough time to sample everything.

Good location, easy access, friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Pool facilities were falling apart, needs some basic maintenance/cleaning. Sauna: wood is aged and crumbling. Pool: tiles missing, and pieces of slate tile shards laying around. Inner hot tub: black mold on ceiling, slate tiles missing, controls damaged/not working. Outer hot tub: closed for maintenance, but when it was open, it was warm and inviting.

The beds were very comfortable, the rooms a good size and we especially liked the fact that it was a pet friendly hotel as we just bought a puppy over Christmas. The pool and hot tub were great and the front lobby very cozy. The trails in the back of the hotel were great for walks with the dog and kids.

The layout of the hotel was a little bit confusing to navigate and the rooms could use some updating.

Clean. Nice staff. Although it's not in the middle of restaurants and bars, it is in the middle of the bigger picture of Jasper. Right down the hill from Patricia & Pyramid lakes. Close enough to Maligne Lake and other tourist sites.

I didn't like being on the basement floor. I felt a little like a subterranean mole peeping out of my window or walking up to the car park. The room was nice, even with grass at just below eye level from our window view. Definitely felt like staff quarters "uptairs/downstairs status", as I did feel a bit relegated from everyone above us. Just book early and request a room above the basement floor.

We arrived earlier than check in time, the woman at the front desk was exceptionally accommodating by allowing us to put our luggage in the office behind the desk until we were able to check in. She was so very friendly! I read some previous bad reviews with regard to front desk staff - but this was not our experience at all. The rooms were average, nothing amazing, what you would expect for the price. The bathroom wasn't cleaned really well.... but the view of the mountains made up for all of that! Pool was outdated, but our 9 year and 13 year old had an absolute blast in it! Having the pull out couch was a great feature too. Great proximity to town, restaurants, shuttles, etc. I would definitely stay again

Cleaning of the bathroom - when we first went in to our room the toilet had not been cleaned (poop in it and toothpaste on the sink). No biggie though - I clean my bathroom at home, so I just gave it a quick wipe down. The staff were so friendly, and the view amazing - a dirty bathroom was minor.
