Loved our 2-night stay @ Moda Hotel! We stayed in a beautiful, clean, spacious King room. Bed was super comfortable. Reception staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We greatly enjoyed the funky in-house “Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar” for breakfast, beers, cocktails and dinner. An Italian restaurant and a sports bar are also part of the hotel but were not frequented by us. Parking is conveniently located in a safe, locked parking garage opposite the hotel (CAD 23 p/night). Great location to explore the city and many cafes/restaurants are in the vicinity. For a quick coffee, Starbucks is 80m down the road. For essentials, Nesters Supermaket is 130m away.

We stayed here 3 times during our visit. The staff and management were exceptional. We had 2 of our bookings at other facilities cancelled at short notice (on the same day), and Moda were able to arrange accommodation for part of our stay to help us to spend time with family.. otherwise we were potentially without accommidation. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

A small, boutique type hotel, almost in the center of downtown. Very close to concert venues, restaurants (both sit down and fast food) and the downtown core. Hotel is clean, comfortable and has secure parking nearby. Public transportation and skytrain are close by. Some comments have noted rooms are small, but we found ours to be totally comfortable, very quiet and met our needs entirely. Staff were extremely friendly. Restaurant on site was excellent!! Thankyou for a great stay!!!

Lovely hotel in a great a great area. The building has real character. There is a cocktail bar and sports bar in the same complex. Both were very good. We had two amazing sleeps. Would recommend for a night or two.

The rooms we had were very small. It was actually difficult to get around the bed. I would not recommend this room for more than a night or two. The room was furnished with a bed, a small closet, and a chair. Really, not enough space to unpack.

Great location near almost everything, comfortable bed, i was in a mini room, and it was OK for one person.

Room needs maintenance, curtain broken, and taped ,was not able to do coffee as there was no near power supply however they could have put the tray in the there side of the closet as it has a power supply, room could have been arranged in a different way ,room was dim needs more light

I would rate this hotel highly, but our room at the rear of the hotel overlooked a number of residential properties and not far from our bedroom window, there was a continual loud hum, probably of an air conditioning unit. I would ask for a room at the front of the hotel on another occasion.

Location was perfect for the event we were attending. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We have used this hotel several times now and would use it again overall a nice place

Great boutique hotel in a reasonably good location. Nice room with polished wooden floors and a good size bathroom with a bath tub. Really nice friendly and helpful front of house staff. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

You should know you can hear the neighbours talking through the walls, and the hotel is on a busy road so there's street noise. Not a deal breaker, just letting folk know.

I booked the standard room as would be sleeping only as out and about all day sightseeing. It was on the small side, it would be very cosy for two people. The view was low level rooftops, as I requested a low floor due to vertigo issues, so not a problem it was on the back so lovely and quiet. Glad I was not on the front would be noisy on the weekends. The hotel had an ice machine on the third floor which was great. Breakfast in the adjacent restaurant was good value and choice. The reception staff were very helpful. Got me a kettle instead of using their fancy coffee machine. They were also helpful in pointing out where not to go in town in an evening.

The location is amazing and the staff are super helpful. A true value for money. A perfect location. Lots of restaurants, pubs and bars all within walking distance from the hotel.
