This hotel is in-between high rises. But it was so convenient with the venue I needed to go to. The restaurant, cafe, coffee stores, grocery stores, and shopping are just walk away. Can save you Uber/taxi rides. Very nicely situated. Staff accommodating.

Even if the Iron board is not available in your room. They have a room where you can go to the laundry room. I had my own bathroom. I highly still request it instead of sharing if you can afford it.

I chose this property for the location and the rate. I sometimes stay at hostels but wanted a private room. My room was a private single with shared bath. The weather was unusually warm so I liked that there was a small portable fan in the room to help me feel more comfortable. The room had a small window and I was able to open it to get some fresh air. I liked that there was an elevator. The front desk staff were very pleasant & helpful.

My bed mattress seemed very old and a bit lumpy. Because I was so tired after being active all day I was able to sleep but just trying to sit on the bed was not very comfortable at all. The bedspread was a bit oversized that I kept tripping over it. It was very pretty though. No A/C made it uncomfortable but during another season it would be better. My floor had a men’s bathroom and the shared main bathroom with the shower. I think the men’s bathroom should be made unisex since there wasn’t another separate woman’s bathroom.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff and free parking in a fantastic downtown location. Lots of different room arrangements. I had a very pleasant stay here.

The front staff was very friendly and when we got there she was very helpful and understanding, especially after I told her that I got hacked and had to get a new card. She always came up with alternatives and we went through without a hitch. The room was very cute too. Also the location was really convenient, and we were able to get to our destinations no problem at all. Also the restaurant next to it was really good too!

The bed was quite firm and hard, which made it difficult to sleep in at times. It was also especially warm in there but that was until I found the fan in the closet. So that made things a bit better.

I was greeted by the absolutely wonderful Nahal on the front desk. She was so lovely and was able to arrange to let me in to the room earlier than normal check-in, after my 14 hour flight this was greatly appreciated. She was super helpful in every way. The hotel is in a very convenient location and I liked the complimentary coffee in the morning and the lounge to chat with other guests. I always felt very safe and as a solo female traveller that was very important. I was able to store my bag on the last day as my flight was quite late. I would definitely stay here again.

I booked a room here at late notice due to the horrific noise levels in the hostel I was staying in. The Kingston Hotel was the exact opposite - calm, quiet (ridiculously quiet, I think my quietest night in Vancouver!), comfortable bed and super friendly staff in reception and old-school charm and decor. The free coffee was good too!

These are only very minor things: The shared bathroom nearest my room was closed for renovations but there was another one not far down the hallway and I only once had to go to another floor due to it being busy. One panel in the ceiling of my room was falling down. And I would have liked a fridge in my room but it really wasn't a hassle to use the one in a common room.

Competent and polite personnel, good location, particularly quiet room with excellent cool temperature coming from outside during the night, so no AC was necessary. V quiet. Slept very well. Excellent room service, always two new towels, very professional service.

The window was tiny and it is all carpet and elderly bed blankets. Also it was not possible to leave the water on in my sink, as it would always automatically turn off, which was a bit unusual. Costly, despite shared bathrooms.

I loved the location (very practical). The staff was very helpful and nice (I had a very late flight on the day of my checkout so they let me stay a little later and kept my luggages all day). The room was clean and had all that I had expected.

The whole building, decor and furniture can appear a bit old at first glance, but I think it gives some charm to the hotel and everything is quite clean and functional so the look shouldn't stop customers.

there was no air conditioning so the window had to be left open for cooling. Also, window face a courtyard with an office builing very close so little privacy. our room was next to the shared bathroom so occaisional slammimg door and traffic on the hall.

Stayed here just to be close to the airport before our early morning flight, was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is very lovely and has a quiet and chilled vibe. The location is fantastic (definitely one of the nicer parts of Vancouver), and the staff were very friendly. We even ate at the restaurant next door (would recommend) and the front desk managed to get us a 15% off discount!
