We stayed at the St. Regis Hotel Vancouver (July 23,2023) prior to our Alaska cruise and the accommodations were wonderful. Staff was always very helpful and friendly. Some of the best customer service we have experienced in awhile and they made it a very comfortable environment. The breakfast that is included was exceptional, was a large portion for being complementary and very delicious. The front desk staff, the manager, and bell services all went above and beyond to assist in any way they could. The restaurant was also great and we were excited that it was still open when we arrived after a long day of traveling from the East Coast. Would definitely stay here again and recommend the St. Regis Hotel Vancouver !

Breakfast included. Good poached eggs and gluten free toast available. Would have liked more vege options to go with them. Good location, walking distance to good cafes, bakeries, waterfront, bars. Photo of outside of building doesn’t do it justice - it’s historic, not run-down and utterly modern inside. Elevator was excellent.

Coffee was ordinary but plentiful (no almond milk) and can buy good espresso/cappuccino at bakery in same building. Limited room service options - ok for normal eaters but only pad Thai suitable for gluten/dairy free.

WONDERFUL SERVICE AND STAFF! From the doorman Brent, to the reception, maids, and the professional waiters at breakfast! Breakfast was high quality. Fiji water and L'Occitane amenities. Building well taken care of, considering it's almost 100 years old. Bathrooms high end. Great location with a drug store, shopping mall, coffee shop, and 7-11 near by. Room service was well priced.Beds super comfortable, with lots of pillows.

Rooms are a bit small, but again an old building. Slippers, toothbrushes and maybe a small fridge in room would have been nice. No more laundry services.

Great location if you need to be centrally located in Vancouver. It's not an overly big hotel so not super busy overall which was nice. Good access to shops across the street, around the block (7/11, Tim Hortons etc.). Room was clean and cosy and bed was quite comfortable. Very nice and helpful staff as well.

Very small elevator and only one for the entire building. Not the end of the world, but be mindful that you may need to wait during busier times. My room must've been located right next to the buildings' air con/heating systems or something (which was right outside the window) as there was quite a loud vibrating noise. So if you can't stand loud buzzing noises, would not recommend. Only other thing was I was a bit let down by the breakfast provided. Not that it was bad, but would've liked more choices then the three provided. Also be mindful that there often are quite a few homeless people around the area, so if you're travelling alone would not recommend being out late at night.

A comfortable hotel, well situated in down town Vancouver. It was easy to walk to the waterfront, other places in down town and gas town and to get the 19 trolley bus out to Stanley Park. The staff were very helpful.

A rather limp shower was disappointing. Of all the 13 hotels we have stayed in on our trip across Canada, this was the only one which did not offer a buffet breakfast, but three choices made to order. As someone who does not eat eggs it didn’t work for me, buffet is far preferable.

The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Close to restaurants, shops and just minutes drive to Stanley Park.

The parking was inconvenient. We have to park in the next building and go out and enter the hotel's front door. Good thing we didn't have a lot of things to carry. The front desk lady forgot to mention to me the instructions on how to get out from the parking. When we got to the hotel, we were telling them in a nice way that we got lost and she didn't give me an instruction, then the other guy said with a sarcastic face "the instruction is on the paper". The paper that she told me to check when we get lost finding the parking spot, but it was not mentioned that on the other side, was the instruction on how to get out from it. I was expecting a nicer response from the two front desk people since this hotel is not cheap at all, but I was kinda disappointed.

The service at reception and at breakfast were excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is well appointed, well maintained, and has had excellent upgrades in decor ...a feeling of old world class with a modern take. (I would love to have an ensuite like the one in our room in my home!) There was obviously great attention to security... which was appreciated considering the hotel location in downtown.

Not at all the fault of the hotel, but the approach to reception by car involves stopping in traffic. However, the bell hop was there immediately to greet us and direct us to the parking garage so that we could return to the lobby for check-in.

The location was excellent, and the hotel staff made it easy to park in their secured underground lot. There is a skytrain station right next to the hotel, so we used that to get around during our stay. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice perk. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made everything easy!

The elevator is really tiny-- only room for 2 or three people at a time, which means sometimes you have to wait your turn. It didn't bother us because we weren't on a high floor and just took the stairs.

Breakfast was excellent……you were given 3 choices. The service was fast and each waiter was attentive to your needs. Edwardo was extremely helpful and attentive. He worked the front desk as well as Juan who was very congenial once you got to know him. The rooms were exactly as you see them on the site…..very nice & comfy. The service people, on the whole, in Vancouver are very nice & friendly. Liked Gastown and Stanley park the best.

The location left much to be desired. Yes, the hotel was near many of Vancouver’s attractions and everything on the whole was within walking distance but, the streets near the hotel were full of homeless, young people, and undesirable people. At night, at times, I heard screaming and weird noises from my room. The front desk staff I found not to be very friendly or helpful. One guy was rude to me. Some of the staff did not seem to understand me and I was speaking English!

The location to Canada Place, to Gastown, to shopping on Robson couldn't be better. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spotless, bed very comfortable (pillows are firm). The toiletries are L'Occitane, which I love. Our made to order omelets came with juice, coffee or tea, ample multi-grain toast. Absolutely delicious! The attached grill/bar had delicious food and staff there was good.

They could up their in-room tea bag & coffee game, but really, with all the great options nearby, it's not a problem.
