Great hotel, bright, clean, comfortable. Large room with great shower. Parking is good but pricey. 5 minute walk to the main village area and 10 mins to gondola. Hot tub and pool is great. There is a sauna that you need to switch on if you wish to use it, at least 30 minutes beforehand for it to reach temperature. Golf course trail is 5 mins away with a chance to see bears on it.¹

Staff didn't give any information on arrival, had to keep asking about facilities. It's been said many times before and nothing done about it but the hot tub should be made available early morning too.

Location was excellent, literally two minutes walk to the village IF even. The staff were superb, we arrived earlier than anticipated due to inclement weather and we knew the rooms may not have been available due to policy, but the check-in staff were more than accommodating and managed to find us all rooms.

This is such a random issue, but the lifts are awful, the length of which you either wait forever, or when your in the lift the door takes a lifetime to close. Obviously exaggeration but its extremely noticeable that the lift is slow

Well-located and equipped hotel, staff were super friendly. We booked a last minute room so the view wasn't great looked into other areas of hotel but it was a very comfortable and clean room. It was nice to have a couch in the room. Would stay again.

Parking outside was a bit of a fight if you have a car that won't fit into the underground car park. As so many guests have large cars we were lucky to get a spot it's first come first served (and you still pay - although parking is a challenge all over Whistler). Also the whole large hotel has only one washer and two dryers for guests so I spent several hours in the queue for the machines!

- Location is wonderful, it's a 7-8 minute walking distance to the base of the gondola with heavy ski gear and boots on your feet. - Being in the village with restaurant options nearby is unbeatable. Amazing restaurant just across the street. - There is ski room to put your gear in lockers with boot driers. - Outside Hot tub is great (also warmer pool) and bathrobes & towels provided - only open until 10 pm wish it was later. - Staff is friendly & helpful - Coffee station & vending machines available

- Room is sufficient and comfortable but definitely not great value at these prices. Nothing luxury. - Staff needs to look after the toiletries and make sure everything's filled before new guests come. Both soap & shower gel were empty containers for us. - AC/Heater is old and loud and was a bit difficult to control the temperature at night for us. - Bed & pillows aren't the comfiest, they can use a refresh.

The Aava Whistler hotel is a very good hotel. However, you can expect that in luxurious Whistler. We stayed two nights with our family and rented two rooms that were next to each other at our request and had a connecting door. The sports facilities are fine, as is the hotel pool. The reception is friendly and helpful. Unlike many other Canadian hotels we have booked on this trip, the Aava Whistler hotel empties your trash daily, brings new towels and refills your coffee. The underground parking is easy accessible but expensive (22 CAD) compared to other hotels we visited. We had a perfect stay!

The rooms are a bit noisy. This is of course not due to the hotel but to the people that stayed in the room above us and who were very noisy.

Great location and facilities. Superior room with vaulted ceiling was great, modernised and spacious and meant we had no one above us so kept the noise down. We didn’t get a chance to use the sauna, the gym is small but easily adequate for a couple of quick workouts (dumbbells and multi-weight machine + recumbent bike and x/trainer).

The acoustics into the corridor aren’t great so if you have inconsiderate groups talking loudly / shouting late in the evening you then this can be heard. Had read the reviews and bought earplugs though so wasn’t a big problem for us.

Aava is a great place to stay for mountain biking at Whistler. The bike wash station, tools and bike valet make us want to return each year. The staff are always friendly as well and go out of their way to help you out. Rooms are clean, there's a mini fridge and AC. Pool, hot tub and gym are also a plus.

There was only one washing machine for guest use and it wasn't in a very central location so to check if it was free it was a bit of trek from our room. More washing machines would be great!

We had a great stay here! Loved our room as it was spacious, very central, great amenities, and love that it's dog friendly. Hope to come back again and bring my dogs next time!

Our TV wasn't connecting well with our phones. We tried connecting to the hotel wifi so we could watch on chrome cast but didn't work. But we managed the trip without watching anything as it was a short stay. If we stayed longer, I would have definitely ask for staff assistance.

The hotel is across one street to the village, and the village is nicely laid out to easily get used to where everything is. A short walk to the gondolas for both Whistler and Blackcomb and a lot of trails for walking or jogging if you're into those. Plenty of bike rentals in the area too if that's more your style. The room was clean, had everything I needed for the 6 days I stayed and the housekeeping staff tidied up the room rather than a full cleaning each day, which I prefer. The bathroom is cleaned daily and the coffee and tea was restocked as well. I kind of make the bed myself so I'm not sure if they make it or not on long stays. I booked the room from Booking.com and got the room for a very good deal, but it is well worth the regular full price, easily.

The only thing I think missing is a room microwave. Some places have big dishes and if you take it to go, just know you will have to eat it cold

SUPER CLEAN, comfy bed & pillows! No smell! Bathroom was super clean as well.. had great quality shampoo, conditioner & body soap pumps all built in, in large quantities.. which smelt & felt so nice! Loved the cabin/ cottage feel to the rooms! Had a great sleep!!! The hotel wasn’t too large and the location was great— not in a loud & noisy part of the village at all. The hot tub was a good large size & so were the pools! I really like that they had a little outside fire right next to it the pool area that you could sit by & warm up! The parking was super affordable as well! Overall.. a GREAT HOTEL!

The hot tub & pool close too early. The signs on how to enter the building (which wing) from the FRONT lobby are confusing.. the same issue arose from the underground parking! It’s hard to figure out where you are going with how small the signs are. The tv channels were also not great at all.. even for cable, it was the worst one I’ve come across.
