The meals (we had breakfast and dinner) were outstanding.

Everything.... Staff and owners were exceptional,, so friendly and helpful. Felt like you were part of the family. Presentation of the meals were amazing. Rooms were great, beds were so comfortable and bathrooms were perfect. All amenities you need. So relaxing and within walking distance to where ever we wanted to go. Had our own happy hour on the back deck on a rainy day and it was wonderful, they did not mind at all. Restaurant was excellent but they also recommended other places to eat that were so good. Can't say enough about it.

That we had to leave to go home!!!!

The location was perfect, minutes away from the Cabot Trail & on a beautiful lake. It was lovely and decorated with beautiful antiques. I felt like I was in a different era. The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful.

Great location if you want to explore the Cabot Trail, also not too far of a drive to Louisbourg Fortress. The Inn is also central in Baddeck, walking distance to many restaurants and the waterfront. A block away was an excellent bakery, called High Wheeler Cafe. we also enjoyed dinner and breakfast right at the Lynwood Inn restaurant, good food and friendly staff. The room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day while we were out.

The beds were VERY hard, I mentioned it to the front desk staff and the next day they came with a mattress pad to try and make them softer for me. I appreciated this VERY much!!

Location is great and staff was helpful - due to low season there was no attendant at the main office which is ok. Facilities was great and staff was always helpful and friendly when we call. The place is really wonderful.

The bed was rock hard and the room was really cold. Bed can be more comfortable for the price we paid for the hotel room. This is really the only complain I have with this hotel.

Great location. Nice porch to sit and converse. Close to shops and restaurants.

I booked the rooms due to great accommodations on a past visit. The hotel website advertised that their dining room was open which was great as two of us have had joint replacement and couldn't walk long distances. We were disappointed to find out that their dining room was not open requiring us to have to walk to a restaurant if we wanted to have a drink once there....we do not drink and drive!! If the Lynwood Inn is going to have a website they should at least keep it updated. That being said I will stay there again.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and also clean. It was convenient to have a restaurant onsite for breakfasts. The food was good but not outstanding. The location is perfect, right opposite the hall where they have the caileighs, and close to restaurants. The Freight Shed Restaurant is especially good.

Our only objection was the guitarist and singer who performed every night during dinner. We had dinner there only the first night, and that was quite enough.

Breakfast excellent and good value for what you get but too large. Would have liked smaller/lighter options at lower cost. Eg omelette and toast rather than having to have fries. This applied to a number of breakfasts. Wasn't able to swap toast instead of fries

There is a restaurent on site but we didn't partake.

Uneven gravel walkway into the building with the rooms. Should be something smoother to make it more accessible. The decor is meant to mimic the era, but the pictures in our room depicted old fashioned children/dolls. A bit unappealing.

The staff went over and above to help us when we had car trouble. The front desk staff contacted the owner/manager who came to the hotel after hours and helped to fix our problem. It made all the difference and allowed us to continue our vacation!
