I actually booked this motel by mistake. Although the cancellation policy said no refunds, DHRUV (the manager) was very understanding and helpful in resolving this mishap to my satisfaction. He even called me later to confirm with me that the refund was being processed. I did not stay in the motel as it was booked in error. Overall, Dhruv displayed very good customer service and care. Customer service is everything nowadays and says a lot about the organization. Thank you Dhruv for your attention

It is a beautiful location on the Bras D’Or Lakes. It was a convenient location as it was just off the Trans Canada Highway. Staff were very friendly and the rooms etc were clean.
I would have given an Excellent rated except for the musty smell in the room. I believe the carpets need to be cleaned or changed?? Overall we had a great experience

The wifi was dismal. Only good enough to do very light browsing. Painfully slow and dropped out frequently. We gave up and we're so happy we had some movies downloaded for just such an occurrence.
The staff was amazing. Seriously. We misread our booking and thought we had booked a kitchenette. So she lent us a hotplate and some dishes! She also came around during the evening to check on all the guests. I was very impressed. The room was good. Enough space and liked that there was a good size table and chairs.

It is clean and suited our purposes perfectly. It is not fancy, but is absolutely excellent value. It is priced appropriately. We really appreciated the outdoor chairs and picnic tables.

I felt like I was in a newer unit, everything was immaculately clean and the value was outstanding for the comfort. The coffee pods were fantastic to have a strong cup in the morning, not to mention there is also a fresh coffee bean maker in the main office. The property is nestled next to a lake with a beautiful view in the morning, although it’s right on the highway but I found that as added convenience. Staff were very friendly and helpful with my late check in.

It had all the basics - fridge, microwave, tv, wifi, table and chairs. The room was clean and spacious.
Stained bed sheet - looked like drops of coffee. It was late and I was too tired to call to have it changed. I’m sure they would have.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They checked on us later in the evening after we returned from being out, to make sure everything was okay, whether we needed some ice, etc. Facilities were clean. There's an air conditioner, coffee maker, mini-fridge and microwave in the room.
