The Inn was quite charming and quaint. Host was quite nice, but we had no interaction with the hostess who kept to the kitchen. It's large porch was a comfortable retreat to enjoy our take-out dinners we had purchased in town upon late arrival. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, complete with fridge, wifi, and nice-size bath with jetted tub. Breakfast was very nice and generous.

We expected from pictures that we could walk down to the water's edge, but couldn't. Wanted to go for a walk, but the gravel drive alone was 3/4 mile completely lined by trees and brush; so we drove out to find a place to access water and walk, but came up short...

The breakfast was excellent. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was delicious. Keith and Elizabeth (I believe that's what her name is) are excellent host and great people....typical of friendly Cape Bretoners. The view of Lake Ainsley is nice and the facility is spotless and has that beautiful country charm. We stayed in the MacDonald room, a large corner unit with windows on two walls, one overlooking the lake, a very comfortable king size bed, a sofa and kitchen table with two chairs and patio doors to the balcony.

What's not to like, it's beautiful.

We stayed at numerous places on our trip in cape Breton, and this was probably my favourite. The King room was massive and very clean and comfortable. We had a private door out to the balcony as well. The host was nice and even accommodated our keto diet at breakfast time. We would stay there again.

It was just a bit out of the way, (but that also meant is was very quiet). It was the most expensive place we stayed at, but would definitely stay again

Location is on lake Ainslie. It has a view of the lake. It is 20 min from Inverness and very quiet. Breakfast was great and Keith and Elizabeth were great hosts. Room was large , clean and the bed very comfortable. Do not be put off by the gravel driveway. It is long but well groomed. We transited it by motorcycle without an issue multiple of times.

Excellent big breakfast! Very quiet & comfortable. The owners are so lovely & helpful! We had a wonderful dinner/live music at the Red Shoe Pub in Mabou, on our drive up the coast, before we checked in. (as there are no restaurants nearby). The next day we were able to visit Baddeck in the morning, & then head to Cheticamp for the next few nights.

The Tulloch Inn is one of the most pleasant and comfortable places we ever stayed at. Every detail is meticulously thought of- from the gardens surrounding the Inn to the beautifully designed and spacious room, the warm and caring hospitality of our hosts, and the delicious breakfast- everything was just perfect! Can't wait to visit again!!!

Beautiful, clean, establishment and beautiful owners. Great breakfast

Not that this was a problem but important to know that you are 20 minutes away from any town for restaurants and activities. This was not a problem for us but important to realize before you get there

We loved staying in this beautiful B&B, conveniently located near Inverness, but in a quiet and secluded location. Our room was incredibly spacious, with a big comfy bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a balcony overlooking a lake. Our hosts were kind and hospitable, and we appreciated their dedication to keeping their home scent free and immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious!

We loved everything!

Keith and Elizabeth are friendly and welcoming. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and work into their place. The bacon and egg breakfast was lovely. They even had homemade crabapple jelly. It’s only 20 minutes away from Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs which worked well for us.

The hosts were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The location is excellent and super quiet and clean. We especially loved how it was scent free and safe. The breakfast was wonderful. I would love to visit again and definitely recommend to my friends!

We arrived at night and couldn’t see the signs from the road (was not lit) there was a long gravel road and we had to trust google that it was the right way.
