Stayed at the 9th floor for 4 days and 3 nights, got a good view, elevator's not scary, feel safe in them ( have a little thing about elevators, sorry), Very helpful staff, housekeeping is on top of their game; they made sure my room was clean every.single.day. Love the complimentary water bottles everyday after every cleaning too!! Breakfast was scrumptious for me, dinner was fantastic as well! Would definitely come back and next time im planning on bring my Parents so they too, could experience what Westin has to offer.

It is not really a dislike but more of a suggestion, although i love the breakfast spread they offer, i felt the options are limited, i would prefer a much bigger variety but over all still a good size breakfast.

The food was excellent and they even gifted me a free alcohol drink for my birthday! the food was well prepared and the staff were very accommodating! The sheets, duvet, pillows, towels- everything- was the best of the best! I couldn’t have been more comfortable! The robe was so soft even though it didn't fit perfectly as i am plus size. I had the pancakes for my breakfast and they were easily the best i’ve ever had! Cinnamon apples, Fresh fruit, Coconut whip cream! it was delicious!

The only thing i can say bad is that this hotel is on the pricier side- however once you enter it completely makes sense why. Everything is made nice. Although it is pricier it makes complete sense!

Beautiful hotel. We had an 11th floor room facing the harbor. Definitely worth the extra money. So enjoyed seeing all the cruise ships come in on a daily basis. We enjoyed the continental breakfast as well as the breakfast buffet. Nice happy hr at lobby bar. Easy parking in rear and entrance close to elevator. Perfect location to harbor walk & great restaurants. Definitely would stay again.

Queen bed more like a full but thankfully super comfortable..

We had an upgrade, thanks to BOOKING , PREMIUM QUEEN ROOM WITH HARBOR VIEW at the top floor. It was awesome, the view of the harbour was exceptional. We didn’t see any cruise ships, but lots of merchant ship heading in and out of NARROWS. The big bonus view was a Canadian naval submarine, diesel class , we couldn’t believe our eyes. The staff at this hotel are first rate and make you feel very special . I would specially like to thank ELIZABETH at the reception who went over and above to make our stay at the WESTON as pleasant as it could be , she is definitely an asset and 1st class representative of your banner. Also a big thank you to LEE who greeted us with dignity and class at the entrance. Bravo WESTON HALIFAX !!

The room is nice and clean, facing the park in the front. The front desk workers are helpful and friendly. Have good size parking, nice and flat, not on the hill. The best thing about Westin is the location, it is right beside super store, and right in front of Halifax Waterfront, no need to find extra parking when you go for a walk there. I would recommend to my friend, and likely to stay there again if I can visit again. Good choice of restaurant, environment is wonderful. But toilet make funny noise.

We have stayed here several times before, We love the location and return here when we visit Halifax. It is so convenient to disembark from the train and be just steps away from a lovely hotel. The Welcome Staff, both at the desk and at the door, plus the housekeeping staff are wonderful as are the staff at the restaurant. Nick is exceptional. He was so pleasant, professional and helpful. Seriously he should be one of your top managers! Also... not too sure of her name... Obranka perhaps (housekeeping) was lovely and helpful. The lady at the front desk who is from Ukraine was very professional and personable. We always love to explore and go for long walks and this is a perfect location for that.

We like to relax for a couple of days and watch the boats go by which was a little more difficult with the windows and rusty balcony. We were in room 639 in the older section and will ask for a room in the newer section next time. It was hard for my husband to lean over the sink counter which is an odd square shape. I should have asked for different pillows. They were lumpy and very uncomfortable.

The staff are amazing! super friendly and helpful! night manager is A1 and found me the perfect room for my stay (Thank you so much again!)

I wish I didn’t have to get my room changed (asked for a quiet room as a special request) and was assigned a room on the same floor as a travelling hockey team (jr hockey tournament) but the night manager worked his magic and found me the perfect room and they moved me (just wish I didn’t have to bother him and spend time re-packing to change rooms)

The helpful staff, especially at breakfast. The accommodations were better than we had hope for and it’s central location to Pier 21 and so on was a bonus

The evening check-in desk person lied to me when he said that the hotel only did dry cleaning; so nice the next morning I was told the hotel offers BOTH services. I ended up paying much more than I needed to to get my laundry done.

Great location next to the VIA railway station, so convenient. Lovely to be able to walk out of the hotel along the boardwalk by the sea. Good breakfast.

Outside seating would have been nice outside the front of the hotel. Air con was very noisy, irritating to have the noise all night.

Excellent two large beds, great linen. We had a great night’s rest as we were exhausted from long journey. Fantastic shower, bathroom Valet parking with help of Noah and Alex was great.

I particularly did not agree with paying for parking in a top rated hotel, even though other hotels in the Halifax area charge as well. I own/manage a guest house in Clare/ Ireland and everywhere has free parking with stay as do hotels in very busy hotels at Dublin airport. Even though I very much liked the Westin Hotel in Halifax I will not stay again if parking not included. Having left shower hat behind on journey, requested one from front desk in person! And was advised to go across to Superstore to purchase one?! Unable to truly enjoy great shower as could not cover hair ( did not have time nor hair salon in hotel to wet hair and have done etc…..was a problem.
