My recent stay at the **Woodbridge House** in Kingsville, Ontario, was nothing short of delightful. Nestled close to Lake Erie, this historic B&B offered the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore the local wineries and breweries, all within a short drive. The Woodbridge House itself is beautifully restored, with elegant rooms that are spacious, clean, and filled with character. The common areas, like the sitting room and porch, are inviting spaces where you can unwind after a day of wine-tasting or exploring nearby attractions like Pelee Point. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent local recommendations, which made our trip even more memorable. Waking up to a peaceful morning in the heart of wine country, with the fresh air and scenic views, was an experience I won’t forget. If you’re planning a getaway to Ontario’s wine country, **Woodbridge House** is a charming and tranquil spot that makes for a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommend!

The Woodbridge House is a charming, heritage home that has been lovingly restored. It was a great home base for our 2-day getaway to explore the surrounding area as well as Pelee Island. We stayed in the upstairs "Dolson" suite, which is located at the front of the house overlooking the main road (Seacliff Drive). The room was small, but felt more spacious due to the high ceilings and the natural light from the three large windows. There is no television in this suite, but you can watch the television that is in the home's tastefully decorated living room on the main floor. The home has a lovely, updated kitchen that is shared amongst the other guests. It is well-equipped to make simple meals and guests can use the fridge and separate stand up freezer to store their food. We enjoyed eating our breakfasts outside at the cafe tables on the sunny side porch. The home was well-located. It's only a 15 minute drive to the Pelee Island ferry in Leamington and a short 5-minute drive into Kingsville. The off-site hosts checked in with us by e-mail and were very quick to respond to any of our questions.
The "Dolson" suite overlooks the busy main road as does the "Lansdowne" suite. If you're sensitive to traffic noise, you might find the noise disturbing while sleeping in either of these suites. The traffic noise does calm down late in the evening, but there are cars that travel the road throughout the night so it is never completely quiet. The home's high ceilings are wonderful, but they do cause sounds to echo (we could hear a television from another guest's room). The windowless bathroom was quite small and we felt it was in need of a refresh. The sink had visible repairs and the shower tile was discoloured in places. These were small issues that didn't ruin our stay at the Woodbridge House and we would definitely stay here again.

The Woodbridge House is a Heritage property and was wonderfully restored and maintained by the owners. Decor was really interesting and everything was top notch. Location was great and the grounds at the back of the property were very relaxing. Self Check in was smooth and uneventful. Very easy. One of your review questions asked about paid Wifi. It was free and worked well.
The bathroom was fine. Clean and everything but there needs to be a shelf above the toilet for shaving kits, make up etc. There is no where to put these types of items in the bathroom making it a bit awkward.

It was nicely restored and had modern facilities, including a great kitchen, with the integrity of the original house still maintained. The porch, and back patio were delightful places for a meal or morning coffee.
There was nothing not to like, but there is only one first floor bedroom. We were on the second floor. Going up the staircase was not an issue for us but since the staircase is narrow it might be difficult for some guests.

Beautiful historical home from 1880's that has been equipped with all the conveniences of home. Great location, only a 5 minute drive from downtown Kingsville. The complimentary juice, coffee, tea and bagels were a real surprise. Easy to find, ample parking and even a large, community fire pit out back that unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy. A highlight was enjoying our morning coffee on the sheltered deck (there are actually two of them on each side of the house so you can enjoy privacy if one side is occupied). Although the home can accommodate a number of people staying overnight, it's layout and size gives so much privacy. There are even two separate reading rooms out front with sliding privacy doors off each.
Can't honestly say there was anything that we didn't like. If I had to come up with one thing it'd be more a suggestion to the hosts. Your home is so beautiful and full of history that we think it has a story untold. More information about the people who lived there would be so nice!

We were in town for a wedding at the Pelee winery. The home no longer provides breakfast, however there is a good supply of coffee or tea to start your day. Location to the winery and the town was perfect, even walking distance to the wedding venue.
Our group stayed in 2 rooms. The only issue was with the “Match” room on the second floor. With the exception of the bathroom, there were no hooks anywhere to hang clothing.

Really appreciated the restoration of this beautiful century home. A perfect mix from old time charm with a touch of modern. This home is warm, inviting and very clean. Truly a “Home away from home” The location is spot on! Close to all amenities, restaurants, grocery stores, specialty stores, winery and more. Owners were fantastic and readily available for anything. The home was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay.
There wasn't anything to dislike.

This building is beautiful; we love it! The friendly and helpful staff elevate this Inn to an 'exceptional' ranking. We felt welcomed and very comfortable. The property is enormous and has a lovely firepit, a comfortable patio with ample seating, and a covered side porch which was a perfect spot to have our morning coffee. There is free wifi, coffee, tea and associated supplies.

We loved the kitchen and ability to make our own breakfast, as well as the bagels available. The freezer and fridge allowed us to store what we needed. Pots and pans, cutting boards, and other kitchen tools all at hand. Great gas stove, microwave, coffee makers, etc. Enjoyed interacting with other guests who also made food. Quaffed drinks and had great conversation. Proximity to Point Pelee, Pelee Winery (tours, etc) is wonderful
The easiest landmark is Cindy's across the street, rather than the "fruit stand" noted nearby which we missed completely. We still found The Woodbridge House though.

I loved the old style decorations and Victorian feel of it. The house has a lot of character. We loved the soap dispenser in the shower. The stencilling near the ceiling is beautiful. Very comfortable.
I did not like the dirty table on the porch or the spider webs with bugs in them on the side porch near the entrance.
