Small selection for breakfast but was delicious. All 4 rooms booked exceeded my expectation as it being an inn, i was expecting smaller rooms with lesser amenities. There was a coffee machine and a kettle in the kitchen. It was lovely. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Location is within 7min walking distance to the market. Carpark is good. Some of the rooms we managed to book with balconies - the view was great too!

Carpark was smaller than expected we had difficulty getting the car in and out of the parking area - but it felt really safe and secure. Lifts are a little cramp but I was glad there were elevators around for senior folks.

Location, location, location! Right in the middle of it all, without actually being in the middle. Despite being half a block away from multiple pubs and restaurants, the street was quiet and peaceful. We literally walked everywhere and achieved over 14,000 steps daily. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fresh fruit. I loved the art work, which covered ever hallway wall including the staircase. And above all, the staff were all fantastic! Very helpful and friendly at all times.

The bathroom in our room was really small. We visited Ottawa for a wedding and we had to stagger getting ready as we couldn’t both use the sink and mirror at the same time. However, this was not a deal breaker for us. The shower had good pressure and temperature and I liked the makeup mirror (articulated arm and magnifying).

The location was great, didn't have to worry about the noise from the streets, and the staff were accommodating when wanting a couple of extra items for our room. The staff were very on top of keeping the dining room clean as people were coming in and out, they would even clean the plates off for us while we still sat down. The room was also nice and clean and spacious for what we needed for our stay, not too small and not too big.

A clarification on the deposit hold would be nice. I was able to use my Visa Debit to initially place the hold of the room, but then a day before when they try and take the deposit, I was then told I need a credit card. Not all the time do people have a credit limit high enough for a deposit. It would also have been nice to have more clarification that while parking is available, had I known that it was a format come first serve situation, I would have done that prior to getting g there. I didn't appreciate needing to pay over $100 extra for the length of time we were there, just to ensure we had parking. Even with the Public parking right beside it, there was no possible way of even getting a discount, especially for everyone else that stays at the Inn but jas no parking.

•Location: downtown Ottawa, Byward Market and walking distance to Parliament Hill. •Breakfast included: full breakfast with many choices; scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, breakfast sandwich, croissants, fruit and yogurt. Breakfast room has lots of seating and a couple of tables outside on deck. •Balcony: with city views and rooftops of parliament buildings. Also, has sun umbrella. Would definitely return and recommend a stay here. :)

•Parking: first in and first serve in secure underground parkade; but only 9 spots and very tight; compact cars OK. Cost is $15 per day. (There is a city parkade, almost next door, for same price).

We were given a different room upon arrival, which was bigger and consisted of 2 bedrooms, instead of 1.The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The bathroom was also cosy and neat. The location was absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and access transportation. To top it all off, the breakfast was delicious and offered a wonderful variety, setting the perfect tone for each day. Thank you for delivering such a memorable and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be recommending your hotel and look forward to staying with you again in the future!

Great location but unfortunately drug-related homelessness are a big issue in Ottawa as others have commented. That said we never felt unsafe and this obviously has nothing to do with the hotel which was fantastic. Great little kitchen with coffee machine, microwave and fridge. Within walking distance to all major sights. This was one of four hotels we stayed in on a multi city trip and although it was the cheapest it was one of the best. Breakfast was good - not a huge selection but plenty of hot and cold food. Balcony was a nice feature especially as weather was unseasonably warm. Staff were great too. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it! Breakfast was very good - lots of choices both hot and cold and the coffee was great. The Inn as a whole is very clean as are the rooms. I loved all the bright colourful paintings throughout the entire hotel. The location is perfect! Parked the car and walked everywhere. Underground parking is a little tight, so if you drive a big SUV or pickup truck, you'll need to find alternate parking. Overall, we will definitely stay here again on our next Ottawa trip.

It was an exceptionally good location, we were able to walk to almost every site we wanted to visit. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the Byward Market, a wonderful place to visit with fabulous food options. The full breakfast was wonderful, we started every day with all the nutrition support we needed. It was clean, has welcoming front desk staff, very nice and accommodating breakfast room and cleaning staff, all requests for information, getting cabs, even the loan of umbrellas were handled graciously. Great value, would absolutely recommend and stay again!

The staff were amiable and helped us celebrate our anniversary -Thank you! The included breakfast was very nice and made the booking value very good. The room itself was very nice and the balcony seating was very nice as well. Proximity to Ottawa sight seeing locations cannot be beat for this price. Highly recommend.

The listing indicates private parking is available but it is not private. There is a nearby public parking garage (guests must pay separately). The room we had was not easily temperature-controlled. The front desk staff were helpful and provided a fan that worked great to keep us comfortable.

Spacious room with balcony that had table, chairs and sun shade. Lots of colourful modern paintings. Good breakfast with some day to day variation in hot choices. Within short walk of lively Byward Market with large number of restaurants, many with patios. The Blue Cactus had some very good creole dishes, especially the jambalaya and creole spiced salmon. Hotel is within walking distance of Parliament Hill and Musee des Beaux Arts.

Better not to walk along Clarence Street away from town because of homelessness and addiction problems.
