Front desk and kitchen staff were great. Breakfast was tasty, with many choices. Even though it was peak time, supplies were replenished quickly. Room was quiet and clean and was even made up daily (Daily service doesn't appear to be the norm anymore). Wife enjoys the TV channel selection. We've stayed here before and continue to do so whenever we come to Owen Sound, as it's quite pleasant. We like that no animals are allowed. It's our choice for the area.

I am not a fan of its use of dynamic pricing, but my disapproval won't change it. It would be nice to have a channel guide for the TV. Wifi is okay but is unsecured; it needs to be encrypted.

Here are top five elements that made for a good stay Spacious Rooms & Clean and Well-Stocked : The rooms were a good size, providing ample space to relax and walk-out window-doors to comfortably step out into the parking lot. The towels were clean and the bathroom was well-stocked with fresh towels. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The entire hotel had a clean and fresh feel, making for a pleasant stay. The (free) breakfast offered a variety of healthy and fresh choices, which was a great perk. :) The staff were friendly and approachable, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout your stay I

Two aspects that could've been better. There was a payment discrepancy between Booking.com and the hotel - This caused some confusion and inconvenience during check-in/out. During my stay (which coincided with a busy summer long weekend), the breakfast area became overcrowded and quite loud very quickly. That said, there was alternatives for guests to take the breakfast to the outside benches.

staff was very friendly and the facility was very clean. breakfast was also good and the price was for our stay was very fair. Our beds were great and the bathrooms were clean as well. WIFI was strong in our room and there was a refrigerator and coffee machine in our room along with a cabinet to store our jackets. Overall very happy with our stay. Would return if ever in Owen Sound again!

The employees of the hotel were friendly and helpful. The price of the hotel was quite fair compared to other accomodations in the area. Even if the rooms are a bit old-fashioned and the latest renovation seems to be done some years ago, the room and the bathroom were clean.

The second floor can only be reached by stairs. There is no lift which would make the transport of luggage / suitcase to the second floor easier. Some of the equipment of the hotel like the lights at the entrace area were not working properly. The breakfast room is quite small and only the typical items are served for breakfast.

The front desk staff were excellent. Very professional friendly and accommodating. Helped us with booking a taxi to our event, our room was ready early and helped us with special request. The breakfast was excellent as well. Very happy with our stay.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Our only critique would be the ceiling was very stained and dirty, assumed it used to be a smoking room.

Comfortable room with excellent staff. Convenient location, and breakfast was great also. Really enjoyed having a floor level room with a sliding door to the outside making it very easy to move stuff in and out of a vehicle. Ice machine was great to have also, ice cold drinks throughout my entire stay

The most desirable choice of accommodation in Owen Sound is a lovely waterfront property under the flag of a major hotel chain. But if that lodging exceeds your budget, then this Comfort Inn is probably the next-best choice. The rooms are thankfully carpeted (always preferable to cold tile or hardwood floors) and come with a microwave in addition to the usual amenities. Several supermarkets and a shopping mall are, while not exactly close by, still within walking distance, though the city’s historic downtown is some distance away, as is the waterfront. The property is situated in an attractive, tree-lined lot and provides abundant free parking and even a few picnic tables. The continental breakfast is unremarkable. All in all, this is a reasonable hotel choice, if not an outstanding one.

On the down side, the furnishings of the rooms could definitely benefit from some updating — not for aesthetic reasons but due to simple age and wear. The lighting in the rooms is of the cold white variety, which is fine in the morning but less agreeable in the evening, when one is preparing for bedtime.

The staff are very courteous and professional.. Had one small issue and the staff took care of it right away. The breakfast is done very well. Even the small butter is proper...soft to use while eating.. Would highly recommend anyone to come and stay at the comfort inn located in Owen Sound. Breakfast was well above average for a "breakfast included" deal. Staff were very friendly. We were very comfortable. Quality of the beds was above average.

No complaints really. The property is well maintained but a bit dated.

Breakfast was great! I especially liked the egg omelette and coffee. The gentleman in the kitchen was so kind.

The view was not so great. I guess it was because I stayed in the 1st floor room across from a church. I even saw a person walking right by when I was looking outside through the sliding back door.
