Nice rooms and big washrooms. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was ala carte which was amazing as the food was really good.

The airport was going through some IT issues when we were checking in so the staff was all over the place. We didn't get the key and had to keep going to the desk to ask to open the door whenever we went out. The bathroom leaked on our last day so it was kind of a bummer as we had to call them to clean it at 10 PM. The breakfast food is amazing but the menu they gave us has prices on it so it's confusing as it's included but the waiters have to explain that it's free but price is written. I recommend creating a menu for guests who have breakfast included. It avoids confusion.

The staff were really friendly and the room very comfortable. Parking is very easy, but accessible via Selby Street (around the back) which wasn't obvious at first, so if driving here set SATNAV to the Selby entrance. Parking is very convenient at the hotel, but also very expensive at $55 per night. We parked in the underground parking a little further down Selby and paid $28 per 24 hours. Public transport links are good and inexpensive, and we'd highly advise making use of these.

The area is ok, but there were quite a few 'interesting' characters in and around the area. It was fine, but after dark we kept to the main streets. The hotel were also very slow responding to requests... Maybe they were very busy? Who knows?

The hotel is stunning. Everywhere you look, you can see the level of detail that went into it. The king size room was spacious. I loved the duvet, the black out curtains, the furniture, the in-room tea, the full length mirror and the overall decor. I liked that the gym was separated into 3 separate work out areas. I used the Peloton bike and didn't need a membership, it included a QR code that I scanned to see any workout I wanted (I am not sure if it was a hotel account or if a guest left their account open). Nevertheless, I enjoyed that extra perk. Dinner at the hotel was delicious. My friend and I ordered a mushroom and a seafood pizza that was cooked in the huge wood burning oven.

Breakfast was a little slow and the avocado toas with eggs was ok but nothing to rave about. I could taste the vinegar in the avocado. But I enjoyed the view and the service even if slow.

The place is new and modern. I love the facilities and I love the extra touches like the easy touch control for the lights and curtains. Also, we didn't get the hotel breakfast however they still provided breakfast items like yogurt and oats and apples and orange juice which we thought was nice. The room had a Nespresso machine and pods too. The gym was a treat, so was the indoor pool. The bed and the pillows were so relaxing and we just stayed in during our entire stay. The location was so close to Sherbourne station and a good walking distance to Yorkville village. Very-commuter friendly. Lastly, I will not end this review without a special shoutout to Joe, the receptionist during our visit. He was so kind to give us a corner room and was very helpful with our needs. We will definitely come back again and will recommend to family and friends!

I just wish they had a smart TV that allowed screen mirroring for iPhones. We weren't able to use the TV during our stay because we wanted to stream movies of our choice from our own device.

We will be back! Super comfy bed and bedding. One of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in.Thoughtfully appointed rooms that made outstanding use of the space (I mentally took notes for future renovations). Valet parking was fast and very convenient. Wonderful staff.

Two very, very little things. The bathroom has thick frosted glass rolling doors/walls so you needed to close the divider between the hall/wardrobe/bathroom area and the main room. Not hard, just so unusual that it took a little to realize the huge sliding door/wall actually moved. Wish there was a sign for people driving west on Bloor to indicate the turn off for the valet and luggage entrance so we didn't have to loop back.

I like the services provided by the staff namely, Christine and Marcelo. Both always greeted me with a genuine smile and the services provided by both were exceptional.

When I booked the room, I stated that I want a very quiet and corner room. The room no. given to me was 608. I had a very comfortable sleep on the very first day but the I was woken up at around 7:00 AM by relentless drilling and hammering sound which was literally in the next room closed to the lift/elevator. When I got out of my room, I saw a guy drilling a wall. I understand that the Canopy by Hilton is quite new and there maybe some "touch up" jobs that need doing. It would have been acceptable if I had been informed about the works or the works could have been scheduled later in the morning/day rather than very early in the morning.

The Canopy was a really exceptional hotel experience. We wished we were able to stay longer. We were extremely impressed with the finishing touches and modern style of everything in the hotel. The room we had was spacious and had some fantastic touches with great decor, a roomy bathroom, a foyer area for bags and coats and a sizeable TV to enjoy the Stanley Cup finals. We were very impressed with the automated controls dotted over the room for curtain closing, light activation and air conditioning. The staff were very welcoming. The gym was spacious and well equipped and although we didn't have a chance to use it the swimming pool was a good size. We were located within easy distance of many food outlets and it was easy to get into main Toronto.

Parking in the area was difficult with no street parking overnight for non-permit holders and some multi-storey parking which we were told to avoid. We thus had no option other than valet parking at the hotel which despite the excellent and very efficient service felt a little over-priced.

Hotel was new and in great condition. Room was nicely appointed and comfortable bed and pillows. Digital controls for lights and curtains a bit challenging to learn but worked out well. Staff very friendly.

I do not like the fact that this hotel intentionally mis-labelled itself as "Yorkville" - a blatant attempt of misleading advertising for which there is no excuse. It is only a label but diminishes my opinion of the hotel. And this hotel is nowhere near "Sugar Beach", so your following question is ridiculous.

Hotel was beautiful. Facilities were great. Room was large with two queen beds, view out to the street below, lovely bathroom and wardrobe/mirror area. All smart features to close curtains, lighting etc. We had two small issues and they were fixed immediately. I travelled with my teenage son and we were super happy with everything.

My room was not serviced in the week I was there. Bed not made, coffee capsules not replaced I didn't receive an email with a summary of my meal costs etc. I did receive a hard copy.
