Location was excellent - 5 minute walk from Bloor Yonge station, Line 1 and 2 of the subway, which meant everything was easily accessible. The apartments were amazing inside and very spacious Cable TV only, so no Netflix etc.

Shower was lukewarm water generally. Breakfast was average and mainly carbs

This is an apartment complex that's been turned into a hotel, so the rooms are huge. We got one of the newly renovated ones, so it was nice. Location and staff are great. Seems like a safe neighborhood too!

Bed was not comfortable at all.

We got a large suite consisting of one bedroom and a living room with a well-equipped kitchinette. The apartment offered everything we might need during a one-week stay. Location was superb and the view from the window - really nice.

I agree with other opinions; it's a pity that the balcony is locked. Breakfast is as minimal as you might only imagine; some muffins, fruits, joghurt, and that's it. However, the coffee is great and available all day long. The room decor is really outdated, but this is a zero problem, as we came to visit the city, not to stare at the walls. It would be great to have electic sockets by the bed to charge (and use) a smartphone in the evening :)) The bed is rather hard.

I was pretty apprehensive about my stay here after seeing some reviews comment that it doesn't match the pictures and that it is dirty etc. I did consider changing the booking but I am very glad I didn't. Yes, the pictures shown are probably when the suites were first decorated and don't perfectly align with reality. However, the suits are sizeable, have lots of amenities within to cook with oven/microwave/kettle/fridge/freezer. Lots of space for storage, relax and breakfast bar etc.

The rooms could do with a bit of a deep clean and a fresh lick of paint etc. The balcony was locked and it would have been nice to go onto it.

TIS is in a great location for exploring downtown Toronto. Close to both subway and streetcar. It’s also walking distance to many must sees—- the Royal Ontario Museum, Art Gallery of Ontario lots of interesting neighborhoods and great shopping. The apartment we had was spacious and comfortable. It was great to be able to cook simple meals (lots of groceries within walking distance). Lots of excellent restaurants too.

I think the cleaning staff was overwhelmed. They need to hire more or train them better. However the staff were all pleasant and if you asked for something they delivered.

I liked that it was near Bloor Yonge station and that there was a lot of kitchen/dining/living space and overall how helpful and kind the staff were. especially housekeeping. I liked the laundry room too. I also appreciated how an extra bed was delivered free of charge

well to answer the question; although it is not the hotel’s fault; I disliked the amount of drug users/homeless shelters/same people asking for money &/shouting, every time you step out, it didn’t seem too safe. also it’s a pity that the hotel/property clearly once offered; gym, pool, restaurant & lately breakfast but has stopped all of those. it gives the hotel/property a semi-abandoned feeling. also the storage just seemed a bit confused *so much* kitchen storage space but only one drawer in the bedroom? then another wardrobe in the living area? and the wasted small room near the door? It’s trickier to use the wardrobe with fixed hangers so drawer space would be very welcome

The staff were fabulous. Friendly and very competent. They made us feel welcome and were helpful without being obsequious. Parking had direct indoor access to the building - which was very welcome during minus-12 temperatures. Pet-friendly! The building is a bit worn, but maintenance staff promptly addressed any issues. We booked many months in advance, so the price for the very central location was excellent. Many of the suites have a full kitchen, so ideal for self-sufficient travelers and families.

Breakfast was called "grab and go". Muffins, coffee/tea and juice. It's pretty rudimentary and always the same. CoffeeMate or similar would have been a nice addition for the lactose-intolerant. The heating worked well, but turning on and off was pretty noisy. Accessible parking needs a bit more thought. Getting from the reserved accessible parking spots (2) to the ground floor lobby requires navigating 7 steps and two very heavy self-closing doors in total. Not doable for many.

The staff was very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The suites were very big and equipped with all the necessary items, which were new and modern. The location was very nice in the downtown and close to several public transportation options restaurants, and Toronto attractions. The breakfast was according to the description (grab and go, brief and with a few options). The view you can have from the city is also very nice from the higher floors of the hotel.

There is definitely room for improvement in cleanliness. This was the only unpleasant part of this stay but in the first suite we got, we found hairs in the bed sheet. The staff were very helpful and changed the suite immediately. However, the second suite also had the same problem. After changing to the third suite, the problem was solved, and everything seemed clean and tidy.

Everything. I couldn’t fault the place From the moment I checked in, to time I checked out, all the staff where extremely helpful. I needed a couple extra towels and within minutes of me asking the lady was there with a fresh set. Nothing was any hassle I got ripped off one night for a taxi ride and the man working the concierge desk was beyond helpful. He gave me the number to contact the taxi office and I managed to get my next ride free because of it. Staff at breakfast helpful aswell. Wanted to see if they could do some fresh croissants, within a few minutes a whole new set where out ready to eat Was perfect The room was spacious and had everything it described. Bed was comfortable and very big. I really have no complaints The location as well, amazing! McDonald’s 2 min walk away. Supermarkets and shops 5 mins walk away max. Bay street only a 10 min taxi ride: really amazing

Greeted with lovely reception, I arrived earlier than check in and was advised my room was ready. After a long flight this was very much welcomed. The apartment was spacious, airy, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed and was very clean. Bathroom was clean and spacious.lovely walk in shower. Bedroom had a lovely large comfortable bed with wardrobe space. Housekeeping provided clean towels when required. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest subway station and slightly on the outskirts of downtown Toronto. I would highly recommend a stay here.
