I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn on Jarvis Street, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was particularly cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location was also a major plus. It was within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and attractions. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day, with a variety of options to choose from.

However, there were two minor issues that I would like to mention. Firstly, the price of the room was a bit higher than I expected for a hotel of this caliber. Secondly, the trash can in the room was quite small, which was a bit inconvenient. It would have been nice to have a larger trash can to accommodate more waste.

The room was very clean and generally quiet. The hotel's location is great and you can easily leave your car in the parking lot for the duration of your stay if you are okay with walking or using public transport (150m from nearest streetcar and 600m from nearest subway station). Staff is very friendly and rooms are clean and big. The bed is comfortable.

Although it was generally quiet, you can sometimes hear people in the hallway and above you. The room doors also close hard, making noise for other hotel guests. Our room was facing the construction site to the north, and there was some bad noise starting before 7am on the Saturday morning. It was quiet on Sunday morning though. Also, breakfast is very basic at Hampton Inn. You can certainly find something to eat, but it's not the greatest food quality.

The pressure in the shower was very low, the elevator is very small and takes a few to get on. I believe there was 2 elevators but maybe the 1 wasn't working

Lighting was a bit dim in main area as only had use of bedside lamps and no overhead lights Not limited to this accommodation as it seems to be done in a number of other hotels in Canada during our travels - don't enjoy wooden utensils and paper plates - personal preference is proper plates and cutlery.

Value for money. Location was good and staff were very friendly. We arrived very early, almost 6 hours before usual check in but the room was ready so they let us check in which was amazing and very much appreciated. They also gave us late check out on our departing day for no additional charge.

We weren’t too pleased when we were told that breakfast was open until 11am and went down for breakfast only to find out that 11am is weekend hours (it’s 10am on weekdays). Simple misunderstanding/miscommunication but was a little annoying since we paid for breakfast for all mornings of our stay.

I liked the location of the hotel being quite close to many shops in the area, the bed was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was lovely.

Please note, I did alert the hotel reception to this as I left on my final morning - When I checked in to my room, the bin was full with previous guest’s rubbish, so there was less room for my own. one of the kids of the cups in the room was also dirty, but I did not think to mention this. Unsure if this meant the room was properly cleaned before I stayed. Was not too concerned, however.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning and a great checkout time. Day staff were great (i think one of them was named Jason) and switched our room as we weren't a fan of the view from the first room (#806). The parking garage was locked and I felt my vehicle was safe while we were out. Close enough to downtown but we do wish there was more around us.

The view in our first room was terrible, actually there was no view at all. Staff did accommodate us for that. The parking garage was very sketchy, ceiling was so extremely low that my trunk almost hit it and part of the ceiling was broken and looked terrible. The night staff was very rude and seemed uninterested in helping us get new keys as we were locked outside because the keys didn't work. The elevator area when you first walk in from the parking garage smelled terrible.

Our room was clean. The king bed was comfortable. The bathroom had high quality towels. The view was very nice, and the location was very good. In addition the front desk ladies were friendly and greeted us with a smile and a wave each time we encountered them.

Breakfast could be improved. Bacon was greasy and the eggs could be improved. A better selection of pastries would be nice along with nice fresh breads.

The hotel has an excellent location, a few steps from tourist centers, supermarkets and pharmacies, which makes it very easy to get around on foot. As for the hotel, the staff is very friendly, and being a recently remodeled space it is a pleasure to relax. We would definitely choose it again. The breakfast is pretty good as far as options go for this type of hotel.

The breakfast is quite good in terms of sweet and salty alternatives, I only would have liked it if plant-based milk and yogurt were included.

There was sometimes noise in the heater/AC. There was no bathroom mat or any mat outside. When I called and asked for it, they said they don't have it. The TV in the room should have smart features like online browsing, YouTube, option to connect my laptop or smart phone.
