Sam and Sam do a wonderful job of keeping the place clean and welcoming for guests. Sam walked us through everything when we arrived and brought us extra towels when we asked. The breakfast is very basic - fruit, yogurt, toast, etc. and please note there is no functioning stove but they do provide an air fryer for use. There are mini fridges in the rooms so you don’t have to put personal food in the main area. Our room also had its own dehumidifier and A/C unit which was really convenient. There was also enough parking for all rooms out front, we never ran into the issue of no parking there so that was helpful.

I would recommend putting a mirror/get ready area outside of the bathroom as the only mirrors were in the bathroom itself. We also only had two blankets, no comforter or duvet. My friend didn’t mind but I’m typically a cold person, especially when I sleep, so having this option would have been nice. The lighting in the room was a bit dim but it got the job done. As for location, it is in Cornwall so going anywhere just took a little extra time but we knew this going into it. I’m practice, I would have maybe stayed here for Charlottetown and area days but for days when you are going north of the island, it might be more beneficial to stay somewhere in that area instead.

Everything! We had to leave a place we had reserved that did not match up to its reviews. We found Chez Nous on Booking.com quickly and were able to get in there right away. We were so happy it was available as it is a lovely clean place with amazing facilities. Sam was very helpful and though they do not offer a cooked breakfast they provide everything one needs: yogurt, cereal, fruit, bread, jam, donuts, juice, coffee, tea (even real Chinese tea)…and chocolates if one wants something sweet during the day. Sam even showed me the laundry room if I needed to wash clothes (which I did!) even it was clean with big, new appliances. It deserves a score of 10 and we highly recommend it.

It was a lovely bed and breakfast (minus the breakfast). The room was large with an attached bathroom. The owner was attentive and responded to all contacts. It was in a nice quiet area and the price was very good. We were allowed to use several areas of the house - the kitchen (dished supplied), two sitting areas with televisions and a dining room. The house was well maintained and we enjoyed our stay.

The shower was a bit awkward. It was a clawfoot tub (looked great) but the shower was a heavy showerhead that you had to hold. A minor inconvenience but if you have any mobility issues, it would be very difficult for you to get into the tub.

Charming interesting place to stay in the countryside. Very clean and comfortable. Welcoming friendly host.

When I booked I didn’t understand the rules for the shared kitchen and living space. This is only for the people staying at the B and B, which makes sense. You can’t invite your friends and relatives to visit you there or make a family dinner unless you want to sit only in your bedroom or outside. I did not like the handheld shower in our room. Different rooms have different types of showers, so book a room with a “normal” shower if this is important to you. Other than those 2 minor issues, it was a great place to stay.

Breakfast was plentiful. A choice of hot and cold options. Orange juice and coffee and various choices of Tea. In the lounge I watched Netflix and Prime on the 60-70 inch TV. Sam, the owner, led me through the gaining access to the accommodation. Met me at the time of arrival and showed me around to ensure I was familiar with everything. He even gave me a room upgrade, which was excellent. It was nice to sit in the lounge area which was a large room with huge windows and watch the sun go down and the moon arrive, very calm and pleasant.

Nothing at all. All was as the internet described. I have stayed in Charlottetown and Cornwall several times. This was by far the best and most comfortable accommodation I have stayed in. And excellent value for money.

Sam greeted us on arrival and showed us Chez Nous. It is a beautiful, relaxing spot and very quiet. Our room #4 had a balcony which unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy . Our room and bathroom were very large and the bed was very comfortable. We were impressed with the items available for breakfast and enjoyed our leisurely breakfast. We will definitely tell our friends about this Jem. We give Chez Nous Five Stars.

Nothing not to like.

I liked that the host was amazingly polite and friendly. All the guests that were there at the time we were there were also very nice and polite to talk to. No one was loud after hours, we all respected the rules.

The only thing that I didn't like was that our pillows were too flat. I do believe they should invest in new pillows. Pretty much that's all I have to say about what we didn't like.

To give this property 10 out of 10 would be unkind I would give it 15!!!! From the owner Sam meeting us on arrival to waving us off at us leaving everything was 100%. Our room was lovely as was the communal living area. Breakfast was a help yourself from the well stocked fridge, Free coffee/tea/water/soft drinks available throughout the day tool.

Great location and super clean. Well decorated . Comfortable . Fluffy nice towels and linens . Lots of modern convieniences with check in and out . Enjoyed the fact that they had a list of nearby places to eat, and snacks In the fridge to choose from if needed .

No TV In The room we stayed in, but that was minor really, as the internet service was great for portable Devices . Window air conditioner worked fine and was clean. They just tend to be a little noisy at night if you are a light sleeper ( didn’t bother my other half at all )

Relaxing, fairly laid-back and quiet. Amenities were for the most part good, but I would have preferred a way to get a warm/hot breakfast, other than toast.

Bottom step at the front door had a bit more than average drop, causing an awkward forward pitching. Also, some of the bricks in the sidewalk were not even, a potential for a trip/stumble if coming in at night.
