The set up

The staff who lived there, he gave a lot of rules which was not mentioned in the booking app. I booked this apartment room as an Airbnb, but when I reached there, they were saying you can do this. You can do that. I can’t tolerate that so yeah that’s it. The guy ROBERT he was giving all this kind of rules and saying that this is not an airbnb.

It is a cozy house with a wonderful staff. Sr. Robert, the manager, is a super nice guy with everyone, always trying to help us, offering a great breakfast, the whole house every day super clean. The room is super comfortable, with two big beds, a TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, a microwave, and a fridge. Good location, near to bus points, near to Biodome, Botanical Garden and Stadium of Montreal FC. I really recommend staying at Maison Montplaisir with Robert.

First of all the manager Robert is an awesome guy. He is literally there to help you with everything. No worries when you have that kind of guy to manage the property 5⭐️ just for him. He is friendly and will help you with his heart.

Property is good and relaxing but 1 thing I didn’t like was the neighborhood. If travelling with friends won’t be that issue but with family you don’t feel that safe to go out during evenings and nights. If you just wanna stay at the property definitely a good place

Robert is extremely helpful and friendly . Very attentative . V good location about 2 miles from old town with bus stop 2 mins away and pie 9 metro a 10 min walk . Big room . Nice breakfast selection of cereals toast, eggs , cafe , tea etc . Overall very good value for 2 nights . Thanks.

Good tv and options but I would suggest a basic step by step , guest TV operation guide is written as Netflix did not work ...tv settings disrupted by a previous guest . With " DO NOT DO / TOUCH ....... " ... this would help keep settings in position etc . Needs blackout curtains as an awful lot of light enters room through existing thin ones .

The house was pleasant to stay. There was enough space for a big family with 4 adults and 2 kids. The host was very friendly and helpful. I also liked the location. It is very near to Biodome and is in downtown area. We were very happy to stay here. I also liked the fact that we had lot of options for breakfast, and we can cook in kitchen in morning and prepare breakfast as per our needs.

The House was good, but there was construction going on, and the wall was broken, so we smell smoke in the bathroom, Being non-smokers, the smoke smell suffocates us. Also I didn't like about the parking in streets as there was not much space, may be because of downtown area.

The arrangements were very good. The room was big enough. The location is amazing and so is the host/manager Robert. The breakfast arrangements are pretty good. It's DIY breakfast..but works pretty well.

The air conditioner in our room, ie room no. 1 was pretty ineffective. That surely needs to be fixed

The gentleman running the place Rob was very eccentric and warm. He was very welcoming and made me smile, I always think the people make the place and he did. After a 5 minute walk there are plenty of places to sit and drink and great variety too. The room was very large and comfortable and I do love places that provide Netflix.

The parking was a couple minutes walk away which was a little annoying.

Incredible!! Breakfast was very nice!! We had everything we need. Location was very good, but we have our own car. 20 min from downtown. Robert was worried about us, our children felt like home all was very good!!! I fully recommend it!!

clean, comfortable both in the room and throughout the building. very friendly and kind landlord. the building is in a relatively clean and not noisy area.

Only the check-in time is a little late, basically like in the whole city. After long trips, it is better to agree in advance if you want to rest before walking.

The host Robert was very friendly and sweet. He helped us a lot too. Our rooms were clean, the internet was quite fast. Breakfast was also very good.

There is not only free parking directly in front of the house, but you can also park close to the house.
