Wonderul service staff, really helpful, provided all kinds of information, very friendly. Lovely big rooms, nice outdoor seating area, where it's possible to meet fellow travelers. The 'Adults only' choice really provides a quiet oasis in the bustle of Tamarindo.

The breakfast is limited to Gallo Pinto, a choice of eggs, fruits, cake, etc. The location is central, but a bit to walk to the beach. Further walking is required if you want a beach spot not crowded with a lot of tourists. The pool is rather small and quite warm.

The hotel was a welcome sanctuary, away from the Spring Break atmosphere of a busy town and beach. The accommodations were modern and well appointed., the location convenient and welcoming. Staff were extremely helpful with tour and restaurant bookings and went above and beyond in making our anniversary a memorable occasion. Very good breakfasts in a great setting. Special kudos to Marie for her very helpful,friendly, and relaxed style. We felt at home there and met new friends.

Roads were not great for walking, would be nice if the town/country could spend some money on infrastructure/roads/sidewalks (not just in Tamarindo but everywhere we travelled in Costa Rica in our 6 weeks here) We are a senior couple, in reasonable shape but walking everywhere was a bit of an adventure!

We had a great stay at the Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel! We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time, the hotel was amazing and the location is unbeatable - walking distance to the beach and so many excellent restaurants and bars. As for the amenities, the breakfast was a great way to start the day, the outdoor workout area was excellent to get in a quick workout in the morning and the pool was amazing, along with the common areas to hang out. The staff made lots of recommendations for us for beaches to visit, the provided towels we could take with us. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again.

The bed was a little soft for us but that's just personal preference.

Marie, Maribel, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They recommended excellent restaurants and coordinated reservations, booked a top notch surfing lesson and sunset catamaran tour, and more. Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel is a serene oasis. I think the hotel has 16 rooms, but the only time we ever saw more than 2-4 other people was at breakfast. The pool was tranquil and honestly a must for any stay in Tamarindo. We won’t stay anywhere else whenever we’re back in Tamarindo!

The hotel changes the towels and linens every 3 days. It’s environmentally friendly, so I get it. The *only* thing I would have changed is to get the beach towels changed more frequently. But I’m really stretching - our stay was fantastic.

By far one the best places I've stayed. It was quiet, calming, and comfortable. The rooms were large, clean and stylish too. I liked that there were yoga mats too. The breakfast was superb! Everything was delicious and fresh and I loved the dining area. I was pleased to know that there was a fridge with beer and soft drinks to purchases with all proceeds going to help animals in need. The pool was a perfect temperature and cools you off on a hot day and evening. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had great dinner recommendations and can assist with booking activities. It is a short walk from the beach. I liked that it was tucked away but still close to restaurants and convenience stores. Everything is close by in Tamarindo though.

What was not to like? This was my spouse and my first time in Costa Rica. We found this hotel from a travel vlog on IG and had to book it. The staff here have set the bar so high for all our future vacations and I am not joking. They go above and beyond for you. They cooked us eggs every morning on the spot. The breakfast is the best I've ever had from any hotel (reminded me of my childhood breakfast) I've stayed. They book reservations for you whether it be a massage, restaurant, activities etc. They ensure you're as comfortable as you can be and I honestly will miss them tremendously. They're all so warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is gorgeous. It's so close to everything that I think our longest walk was 14 min from where we were relaxing at the beach (the beach is closer we just walked far to get away from the big crowds). all of our fancy and top notch restaurants were within 5-10min walks, tons of antique stores within 5min walks, coffee shops, smoothie shops etc all under 10min walks. They also have a security guard at night and to enter the hotel is very safe and you need either the codes or your keys. This will not be our first time visiting CR, and if we are ever again in Tamarindo this will be our go to spot. Again, shout out to the 3 ladies up at the front. Y'all were amazing and y'all better get a raise for this review.

Honestly, cannot name a single thing. I loved everything there was to it. See above for the pros.

The staff were excellent and very helpful both before and on arrival. Check-in was easy, which we were thankful for as we arrived a few hours ahead of our intended schedule and were able to get into our room. Marie and Bathsheba gave us great advice regards restaurants to go to and also help making reservations. Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, clean and the A/C was effective and quiet. The pool area was comfy and well equipped and great for relaxing. The town is a short 10 min walk away and wasn't a problem for either my wife or I.

Property was close enough to everything in town but far enough from the noise and crowds. The perfect location. You can walk to everything. Property was clean and modern with that minimalist look I love yet has everything you need. it also has that relaxing zen vibe.

We had a little difficulty finding it at first due to its hidden and out-of-the-way location but ideally you will love the location once paradise found.

Stayed in a secluded hotel with several beautiful outdoor areas to read, socialize, workout or take a nap. The hotel have a relaxed vibe to it; it was just a short walk away to get to the beach and all the bars and restaurants. The breakfast was good and had lot's of different things to eat including made to order omelets. The facilities, including our room, were spotless and the staff always friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

There was almost nothing not to like about the place. It was clean, accessible, safe, great location, staff was incredible and the location was very relaxing and peaceful. Wife and I visited with six other friends and we immediately felt welcome and at home.

Only criticism we came up with was that there was no mirror in the bedroom for wife to do makeup at because the bathroom was a little too hot.
