I could not have been more happy with my stay here! For this price point it simply does not get better in tamarindo. It's super rare for me to give 5 star reviews but this place really deserves it. The great service started before I even arrived. I had a bunch of one off questions and they responded to every one super quickly. They booked an airport shuttle for me which was super helpful. And when I arrived they were so friendly and kind. I stayed in a superior queen I believe and I loved it. It's older but clean and well maintained. I thought the bed was super comfy and the ac worked like a champ! The shower lacks water pressure but it got the job done and had warm water even. I had a mini fridge too which was super helpful. The hammock was awesome and comfortable! The little dining set on the patio was great too. The pool is also fantastic. It's set in this little tropical area so it's absolutely gorgeous. The wifi gets a bit finicky from time to time but I was able to watch Netflix and take work meetings. It's a quick 5 minute walk down to the beach and there is tons of walkable bars and restaurants as well. I will immediately stay here anytime I return to tama!

In the shower you definitely have to choose between warm water and water pressure. I struggled to the shampoo out of my hair. A minor thing that was easy to work around.

The managers, Sebastian and Sarah, were both very helpful and available. They speak four languages between them so communication was easy. The room was super clean and comfortable with a choice of A/C or a fan available. Kitchen was fully stocked with whatever you need to cook with and there was lovely coffee available in the morning when most needed. The location was perfect and quiet. It is a short walk to the beach, right next to a grocery store, great bakery (on the other side of the park), and 50 ft to restaurants. Highly recommend.

Great location for restaurants, night life, and beach access. Clean, spacious rooms. Good A/C, which matters in this part of the world. You can find newer, fancier accommodations, but if you don't need the Wyndham or Diria, this is a great option.

It's a nice pool layout. For some reason, I'm absolute mosquito bait. They love me, and this place has quite a few from the lush surroundings. If you're like me, you'll need bug spray poolside or in your hammock.

The staff were very helpful with booking excursions and getting to and from places. Overall anything we needed help with they was more than happy to help with. The pool area was relaxing and the kitchen came in handy to make our breakfast every morning. We bought anything we needed from the super market literally 1 minute walk away and used the fridge in the room for storing snacks/ fruit & drinks in. Great location close to all the restaurants and bars of Tamarindo town… and 3 minute walk to Playa Tamarindo. Our room was tended to everyday and the A/C & fan was needed to escape the heat.

This place is a piece of paradise in the middle of a busy town. Love the outdoor hammocks, location, service, pool area was wonderful to read a book by. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. There was parking available and gated so you and your belongings were all safe. Loved that it's a smaller hotel so very few people using the amenities vs some of the larger places. I would highly recommend booking this place which is also very reasonably priced. Wish i could have stayed longer.

for only one night as a favor to us as our plans changed, we were in the #1 cabin with 2 single beds. The beds were uncomfortable and it's noisy because you're right beside the communal kitchen. However, they did advise us as such but we were in a pinch last minute. if you are booking this place i would just upgrade to the queen rooms is all.. the pool area and hammocks and location still made our one night great!

This hotel met all of our needs and was a great deal! We stayed here for 6 nights while we explored Tamarindo. The location is central and convenient, with a grocery store right around the corner and only a few minutes walk to restaurants and the beach. It's far enough off the main road to be quiet almost every night of the week. The shared kitchen space is very convenient. The patios and pool area are beautiful. The staff are so kind and helpful, whether they're helping with laundry, booking transit, or just saying hi. The insides of the rooms are very simple, but they're absolutely spotless. We loved the cats that hang around too.

Such a fantastic stay, with free monkey views! Lovely cats, Yoda was a firm favourite. My room was perfect, so comfortable, great location in Taramindo. Quiet studio but within walking distance from all the shops, restaurants and beach. Much better than staying in a big hotel! Staff super helpful, especially when booking excursions- Sarah and Samantha in particular.

Needs a bit of updating in room/bathroom & would have liked a full length mirror but really nothing to complain about!

Easy to get to from the beach, near everything but not as noisy as the centre.
