This hotel was excellent in all areas. It was close enough to train station w a 15 minute walk. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to arrange for breakfast on the go on the last day as we had an early train to catch. We would stay there again. Highly recommended!

This hotel was close to the train station and to the public transportation systeml. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The front staff were helpful at extending our stay for a night without having to change rooms. They also arranged for us to have a breakfast on the go as we had to leave early.

A very comfortable hotel in the old town, within walking distance to many of the sights. The hotel is extremely clean, the mattresses are very comfortable, the bathroom is clean and has everything you need. Breakfast is a buffet, extremely varied. There's also a free brunch from 12 to 4 p.m. We will be happy to visit the hotel again. Very good value for money.

The rooms are a little bit small. Our room faced the facades of 2 other buildings. But that wasn't a problem. Otherwise, there is a terrace on the roof of the hotel with a view of the city.

booked taxi the night before check out,. It was hotels taxi transfer, price as shown by Kieran on a laminated A4 page was 850 koruna, but on arrival at airport the driver demanded 950 koruna. NOT A NICE END TO HOLIDAY. I met a friend on the flight home and he was over charged as well. I AWAIT YOUR REPLY

Close-by tram stations(Stepanska and another one) Kolobok store for grocery shooping is near-by. xD Has a luggage store, so you're set before check-in time.

The safe is one of those small ones, so will not fit a 14" notebook in it, but otherwise good and easy to use.

The room was very clean and comfortable. A good breakfast was included, and the hotel also offered a complimentary brunch. Bath essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, and towels were provided, and slippers were available upon request. Elevators are available. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, within walking distance of key attractions. It is also close to the main train station, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

There was no early check-in option, possibly due to the high season. The location is good, but the street has a steep incline, making it a bit challenging to walk.

I did this booking for my brother and his girlfriend as a birthday gift. After having booked a hotel that I believe was not a fit, I cancelled and chose Archibald for them instead. They were extremely happy with their stay, experience, cleanliness of the facilities, breakfast, staff, closeness to the city center - everything in general!

The only thing that I believe was a bit saddening is that I called the Hotel in advance and asked if the city tax may already be charged from my credit card, so that my brother would have to pay 0 for the stay. I gave them my card information and was assured that the fee for the city tax would be deducted by front office, but later found out that when my brother checked out, they had to pay the city tax by themselves and nothing was deducted. My brother was fine with it though and generally I'm happy about the guest's treatment in this hotel. Thanks to all hard-working staff members here!!

The location made travel around Rome very easy and affordable. I had a great stay and enjoyed the friendly service .There was decent buffet breakfast, everyone can find what he likes.(fresh salad ,vegetables, fruits, various cereals and yoghurts, eggs, sausages, cheese, jams ,butter, pastries and etc) The location is fabulous ,very close to the center and to all attractions .I haven’t use public transport at all. Room basic but clean and comfortable, air-conditioner worked amazingly, there was a hair dryer, kettle, tee and coffee. There were two Complimentary bottles of water in the room and it was very nice . I will definitely come back again next time.

Pillows were soft,so I used both but it more refers to my personal preferences

Staff were a bit stand-offish but probably a language barrier. Corridors were dark and you have to walk a few steps in pitch darkness before the sensors pick you up and turn the lights on. It’s a bit freaky!!! Locks on room doors don’t work apparently so you have to rely on the electric lock. Not so great for a solo traveller. No one picks up when you call reception desk from the room

Imagine that you are a tourist family in Prague. What do you need? Lets think about your expectations and what can Archibald city can give. - You need a silent and secure room for yourself and family. Rooms are really really silent. And security is good as much as possible. You can get into hotel only with your room card after midnight. Thats great! - You need a really good breakfast, you dont want to spend time and money for breakfast. You will just wake up, get ready to go out, have your breakfast at hotel, have your coffee as much as you want and go! A great breakfast is waiting for you in this hotel. Eat as much as you can, skip the lunch. - You want to wake up early and have your breakfast like 7.30 am. Cause time is important lots of things to discover in Prague. A great view is waiting for you in Charles Bridge. Be quick! - You want to have a little rest in the morning cause you had a long flight. Breakfast service is available till 10-10.30 am. Your morning is yours. You deserve a lazy morning, cause you stepped 25000 times yesterday. Dont push it too hard :) - You are a non-smoker and you hate the smell of cigarette, or other smell of "stuff" that you can be smoken. Its only allowed to smoke in terrace (7th floor) between 8 am-10 pm. You will understand me why its locked after 10 pm. - Or you are a smoker but you still want dont want to smell cigarete or other "stuff" burn. - Time is important and you want to get to the city center or metro station with a few minutes walk. Here you are at the Museum or Musk metro stations. The stations that connected to all A-B-C lines. Or just walk as much as you can and discover the city. - You are a tourist. You dont need luxury during your stay. But you need standart facilities. Here they are! -You have a late turning flight but you want to discover the city for a few extra hours or half day. Locker room! And its free!
