The location is good - just near the tram stop. We've got the number on corner so were really pleased with the view. The room was pretty big and the bathroom was clean. In apparatus we had dryer, electric kettle, coffee and tea. Nearby is beautiful a historic fort Vyšehrad.

the mattress was soo large, probably because of this, instead of one large special mattress sheet, there were two sheets that constantly folded. the pillows were also too big and hard (I prefer small and soft) there wasn't plug in the bathroom

I was a little apprehensive about booking Union Hotel as I had read some negative reviews. However, I was very pleased with my stay overall. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and so polite. The rooms were comfortable and with a working space. There’s also a Lidl nearby, a Spanish restaurant below and a great bar next door. It had everything you need. For this price, it’s unbeatable. I’d definitely stay again.

My keycard for the room didn’t work quite often. Although reception fixed it very fast, it was a little annoying. Also, some tea and coffee facilities in the room would be fantastic.

It is spacious and it provided the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, and the view from my window was the cherry on top. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. Whether it was the sumptuous breakfast buffet or the delectable dishes served at the on-site restaurant, every meal was a culinary delight. The attentive staff ensured that every need was met, making dining at the hotel a truly memorable experience. What truly sets The Union Hotel apart is its exceptional service. Next to the hotel there are tram stations and a frequent train. but you get used to it after just a few hours because the windows are very well made to reflect the sound from outside.

Fantastic location near the river and easily walkable into the heart of Prague, yet far enough away to not be bothered by noisy tourists late at night. Bathrooms were recently renovated and clean with excellent water temperature and pressure. Beds were firm yet comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind - they were not bothered by our middle-of-the-night check-in, and allowed us to lock up our bags after check-out so that we didn’t have to lug them around during the day.

It can be a bit noisy, as the tram stop is right outside. If you close your window, the noise isn’t any more bothersome than standard city noise. Additionally, you are in a capital city, so some level of street noise should be expected - this isn’t a countryside retreat!

I used this hotel for having a break during a night trip by car. So I did not expect too much comfort - and indeed the hotel is not luxuriously but still well equipped. The rooms are maybe not perfect when you want to use the hotel room for living and working. But for having a good place to sleep the hotel, its rooms and its atmosphere is sufficient and even good and clean. I arrived in the early morning hours and despite this very uncomfortable time the receptionist was very friendly and professional and checked me in without any issues or delay. The same applies for the check-out procedure which also happend relatively early. The location of the hotel is not very centrally located in Prague but is well accessible from the city centre. Last but not least, the hotel has a very good price/performance ratio.

There is nothing to complain about this hotel.

The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and large for a European bathroom. Although the hotel was outside of the old town area it was conveniently located along the tram line. I was able to take the trams to all of the places I wanted to visit without being in the congestion of the high traffic areas. Parking was also very conveniently located. I was able to park outside of the hotel in one of their parking spaces.

I didnt realize that breakfast wasnt included. I waited for several hours for the breakfast place in the hotel to open only to learn it wasnt part of the room fee. If I had known that I would have simply grabbed a pastry and coffee along my trip.

The location of the hotel is really really good. Bus stop is literally in front of the hotel and it takes 10-15 minutes to the city center. The building is an old-style Prague built, which I loved. Rooms were comfortable and quite big, although a little old, except the bathroom - the bathroom was super new and modern, most importantly clean. Hotel staff was very helpful and kind, always ready to help you out, offer a complementary coffee or a restaurant recommendation. Shoutout to David especially :)

Wifi signal was not great. I was on 3rd floor and in some parts of the room it was impossible to get any signal.

The staff were very friendly. The room was quite large and it was clean (the cleanliness of the carpet however was questionable). The room didn’t smell bad. The bathroom was a good size. Tram station and grocery stores nearby.

The carpet seemed a bit unclean. There was no option for an electric kettle. If you come to the hotel late at night, some areas of the staircase have no light and you can’t see where you’re stepping. Keycard to our room didn’t work, we had to get a replacement from the reception. The card itself was also dirty and sticky.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was charming and not like something at a corporate chain. The complementary beer and water were very nice touches. While it is a bit out of the way for those who wish to send time in old town square and nearby; it is very close to Vysehrad. It is also next to a tram stop with four different lines, so getting to where you wish to be is simple. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure and temperature in the shower was fine. All in all it was a pleasant place to spend a few days in Prague.

It is across the street from train tracks leading from the main station of Prague, so there is a burst of activity early in the morning with early morning trains. It didn't bother me, but some visitors might want to make sure they get a room in the back of the hotel, or keep their windows closed.

The room was pretty and comfortable. I was really happy that safe deposit and a little fridge were present. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The tram stop was just behind the corner and some great cafes and restaurants are within walking distance.

The bathroom was nice but it was pretty clear that lack of any window/constant ventilation wasn't optimal. I tried to keep it turned on all the time but it was a bit too loud at night.
