The Hotel Continental is a beautiful hotel. Its period design is just gorgeous. It is right in the town center and you can access everything from there. The breakfast was amazing! On Sunday, they even had someone in the dining area playing the piano for diners. The staff were friendly and helpful. They made some excellent restaurant recommendations. However, I would advise any travelers to have the staff make reservations at these restaurants for you as soon as you arrive. Often, these restaurants are full and you need reservations to get in. The staff at the Hotel Continental are more than willing to help you in that regard. Just know that the best restaurants in town are busy, even in the off season!

Dear future guests at Continental Hotel, for all of you, who would like to sleep and enjoy hotel Continental like you might saw at movie with John Wick, than go for, as this is the 100% excellent hit, double door, clean, quite and the very best scrambled eggs for breakfast I ever had.

- Bang on in the centre of Pilsen, you couldn't be more central if you wanted to. - Architecturally marvellous, the art deco entrance and restaurant made me feel like in a movie - An hotel with an history and character - Stylish, Old World elegance - Very good breakfast, attentive staff - Great parking options next to the hotel for a reasonable price (if they don't overbook, see dislikes)

- Horrific German style pillows not suited for human use. Oversized, underfilled, they made for an unpleasant night sleep. - Overbooked parking. As we witnessed first hand, they tend to overbook the parking spaces, leading to very upset customers who have paid for their parking but none is provided. Not a classy move.

The hotel is an old building but is being renovated and will be restored to its original beauty. Our room was large and roomy with plenty of storage for clothes and belongings. Bathroom was massive and the tub was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room ladies were sweet and the room was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, wieners, cold cuts, breads, cereals and fruits were all available and restocked as they were needed. Breakfast staff was on their game and the dining room was very clean throughout the meal. Also, the old city isn’t very big so the location is perfect for those moving around on foot.

Bathtub had flat surfaces that held water then it ran onto the floor. Need to provide a squeegee for the guests. Parking was on the side of the building next to a beautiful garden area that turned into a hangout for people drinking and being loud till around 3am. Normally it wouldn’t bother me but my car was right next to them and I prefer it undamaged. If the hotel had night parking security I wouldn’t have worried much.

The central location is great for a city trip or a short stayover, with fairly priced parking available right in front of the hotel. The beds are comfortable and large. Breakfast was good enough to get the day started. Very professional and friendly staff!

This might be a Czech thing, as we've seen this at several other hotels as well, but not all rooms come with blackout curtains. Some only come with blinds, which will block direct sunlight, but don't darken the room in Summer. If you can't sleep through daylight, bring something to cover your eyes. Also keep in mind, also like other hotels, there's no in-room airconditioning. However, being an old building with high ceilings, the room was definitely still liveable.

From the old world charm to the cleanliness... absolutely perfect! Our room (2 double beds) was very spacious and clean. The main rooms maintained the old charm, but the bathroom was fully renovated. Breakfast was perfect. Parking is limited but there are plenty of options that are convenient and safe. Location was ideal for everything we wanted to do! We highly recommend this location and will plan to stay again!

Love that building from 1895. Its such an amazing hotel. Breakfast was nice, all was fine. Receptionists very nice.

A very unpleasant woman that work in the Restaurant, mainly for breakfast. Short height cca 158-160 cm, short hair up to shoulders. I stayed for 2 nights. I came form city and went to restaurant's lobby to make a phone call so i can have a little privacy... She gave me very superficial look from bottom to the top and then she would listened to my phone call and came to me and said if am not part of the private party, i need to leave. (Even if i was the hotel guest) She insisted! She literally she literally sent me off. The whole restaurant was empty at that time. The private party started one hour later. I told her that she should find another Job and not working with people. I think its a shame for such a nice hotel.

It is a nice location to access the brewery, old town, and other main attractions. They also offer a parking place. We usually travel to Pilzen by car, so this is a good point for us.

We used this hotel for the second time. We liked it the first time, that's why we booked this hotel again. This time, our bed was not so much comfortable as before, the bed mattress was bent. When the guest in the room next to ours used the bathroom, it made a terrible noise and was too noisy to sleep. The bed mattress was bent.

Gorgeous building, great location, beautiful rooms, friendly staff (for the most part).

There is a weird vibe with the breakfast staff (except the chef, who is stressed but friendly and seems to do most of the work). One staffer in particular is aggressive and rude. We move a table with our 4 month old baby to get out of the sun, she throws the dishes down and mutters something in Czech that I’m pretty sure wasn’t a compliment. Next day, same story with the muttering and throwing stuff. Bummer on an otherwise nice stay.
