the location was spot on right in the center of the city and literally right next to the station very kind and friendly staff specially for checking in and out pretty big and cosy room and a nice bathroom it was a great stay

the cleaning wasn’t good at all they cleaned my room and i forgot something in my room, came back not even 10 min. after i left and they were already gone and done “cleaning” the cups i drank my coffee and vitamin drink with was not cleaned. it was rinsed and but back as new…I know since there was old coffee stains and the same sticky substance from my vitamin drink. I’ve probably been drinking from the same cups for 11 days 🤢 I don’t think they even cleaned my room for my stay they just vacuumed a bit made my bed and emptied my trash that’s it except for the last cleaning. she did a good cleaning job there was not clean on the floor either I hate too write this since I liked the hotel in general

From the time we arrived (early 10am) the front office staff went out of their way to accomodate our luggage and advised as soon as the room was ready. as well we had left additional luggage two days before that the staff put o9n storage. The young Ukrainian lady and the young man at the front of house need special thanks.

the hotel met and exceeded our expectations from room cleanliness, to breakfasts and the room cleaning staff.

The breakfast was great with good options (eggs, rolls, potatoes, etc.). They also offered many teas, coffees, and juices. The majority of the staff was outstanding. Special emphasis on the woman working the when we checked in. She was amazing and the restaurant she recommended was excellent. She had a great attitude and was very personable. In regards to the rooms, they were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great hotel. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

The gentleman at the front desk when we were checking out was rude and short. Was on the phone and didn’t even bother to look up when we checked out.

Good location and value for money, large and nice room

The bottle in the room - meant for filling with water at the hotel, smelled really bad and had not been washed. A few other minor cleaning issues, but all good other than that.

The location was good. Room size was decent Beds were comfortable. Overall a nice stay. The busy centre Holstentor was about 10mins walk from the hotel. Many restaurants and eateries are located near that area. The famous marzipan place, cafe niederegger is another 10mins walk ahead from Holstentor.

The information about parking could have been more clear. It said "parking is available", but in reality "parking in hotel property (reserved area) is available for 15 euros per night". Otherwise, there is the option to find a free parking spot around the hotel.

Staff was super friendly and helpful - we forgot our phone in the safe, The manager called us and sent the phone by post to our home address.

Hotel was not the most modern building and some areas could appreciate some modernatization.

Very good location, cozy and spacious room with everything you might need. Parking in front of the hotel was free (but can not be booked in advance)

Too noisy even in the night time (street view room), breakfast is too expensive

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very close to the city centre and easy to get to from the motorway. There was some free parking directly outside the hotel.

The breakfast, although nice, was expensive for what it was. €18, very limited hot food. I would have expected to pay closer to €12 for that spread.

it is quite and very near to the train station.

the light in the bathroom is not very good and it is not in the city center, you need to walk a few minutes.But the whole city is not very big, so it is ok

Breakfast was very generous and very good. We appreciated the breakfast lady asking and then cooking scrambled individually instead of it being under a hot lamp. A very hard-working young lady who should be appreciated more.

A guest lounge or bar would be very much appreciated, especially by those of us gentlemen of a certain age who have just driven a long way.
