Very quiet hotel directly on the sea! We could sleep with the open window and was super nice and relaxing (nice materess). The hotel is a 4 star and offers everything (rich breakfast buffet and sauna). They also rent bikes that are a nice way to visit the city and enjoy Danish culture.

Even if Copenhagen is not so big consider that the hotel is a bit far from the center if you want to walk/use bike. With public transportation everything is very close, the train station is very near and with one stop you are at the central Station

Lovely night staff, good service in the room and on the phone. Everything was rather high quality and the place was beautiful! So many things to do as a customer too (biking, boats, swimming etc). Relaxing, soft and clean bed. The staff was helpful with our every request and got solutions to all. Having a bathtub was also a great plus!

Some bathroom facilities were a bit old and rusty, and in the breakfast the cleaning servers were acting rather rude to us and other customers (high in their instep). Also the air conditioning instructions were hidden inside a cabinet and the AC was on very high, causing one of us to get sick from the first night... The service desk did help with it when called, so that was great!

location, ease of access.

we were offered an upgrade for €20 however, it made me wonder as I’d originally paid extra for a room with harbour views - the upgrade didn’t seem much of an upgrade at all. the room size was compact & yes it had views, but other than that, nothing special

the hotel is really beautiful, the only criticisms I could make are two: the rooms are small with non-existent wardrobes for clothes, and the bathroom where the tubs are still installed when showers are now preferable for practicality and hygiene The staff is really professional and friendly.

I had reserved a twin bedded room, but upon arrival I was told that all the twin bedded rooms had been allocated (we arrived at 4pm). After remonstrating that we could not share a double bed the manager reluctantly agreed to upgrade us to a superior room with a roll away bed.

We had to really dig our heels in to get the roll away bed and upgrade. We were told, that, as I had booked through booking.com they had only agreed to fulfil our special request if possible. That is complete nonsense. Why should a booking made with booking.com be less binding than if I had booked directly with the hotel, particularly as I had received a confirmation through booking.com that the hotel would honour my request. That would not have happened in England.

Lovely, friendly, light, bright hotel. Everything worked well and was immaculately clean. We had superior rooms with harbour view, which was well worth the extra cost. Breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a thoughtful, caring place to be, both myself, my husband and sons aged 17 and 21 would definitely return!

The only slight criticisms would be to vary the fresh fruit at breakfast if possible, we were there 6 days and it was the same selection every day, delicious though it was. The only other thing would be to clearly indicate what type of pillows there were i. e. Feather or synthetic. But there really was very little to criticise...

Beautiful, huge modern hotel, in easy reach of the centre via the S train. We had a room with a balcony, which was great, with views out over the canals, and it made the room feel spacious and airy. The staff were lovely in the main, and the facilities good. Such a large hotel is inevitably used for conferences, which can be a little intrusive, but it's big enough to cope.

All was fine except that we left some laundry to be done on Friday night, which was not ready on Saturday as promised. The receptionist said that it would be done and returned by Sunday morning. It was not, and we were then told by another receptionist that the laundry service doesn't collect on Sundays, so it would be Monday now. It was still not there on Monday afternoon, so we complained and it was found that it had never been sent. The hotel then said they would do it themselves and it would be ready Tuesday morning, the day we were leaving, which it thankfully was. They did this free of charge because of the mix-up, but really need to ensure this service works, and that staff are informed as to the process.

Good location on the water. Reasonable sized rooms. There was premium for a waterside facing room which we chose not to pay as we were out most of the day. No issue with facilities and cleanliness as one would expect. Helpful staff at reception on arrival and departure and other times too when we had questions about the city and transport options. The location really worked for us as we could stroll along the river into and around the city centre tourist spots and it was also a short (10 mins) walk from the Central Station which was handy for to/from the Airport and also travel over The Bridge into Sweden which we did twice - by bus and train.

I would have liked the room to have been a little bigger - it struck me they went for the minimum possible and it therefore felt a tad small. As we were were largely out it was not a significant issue for us but if you spent much time in your room I think it could be more of an issue.
